Chapter 25 Veronica's Legacy

Today Veronica feels more relaxed. He has heard the news that Lizzie and Edgar have left for a honeymoon. Of course he was happy about the news.

Veronica is currently on the back porch of the basement where she lives temporarily.

That afternoon Veronica was swimming in the pool. The woman was wearing a green bikini under the brand name Amir Slama.

The handsome man walked towards her then jumped into the pool. Veronica chose to swim to avoid Jonathan.

Veronica rounded her eyes to see the usual response Jonathan showed at this time. The woman squinted, trying to find the lie in Jo's eyes but could not find it.

"Aren't you supposed to be jealous? " ask Veronica without saying anything stale.

"Our relationship is over, after all I'm a man who still has his pride. Where may I want a man's wife "capped Jo in her upset tone.

"Oh I think, after all, there are many out there who are actors or players and you should also include Jo. " Veronica swam away. Jo growled low, she immediately swam after Veronica who had dared to challenge her.

"You must have a second sentence. " The two get dressed and then go upstairs. Jonathan walked straight to his room. Veronica herself swallowed her saliva, she very much knew what punishment she would get again.

At exactly six in the afternoon the two stone out of the room. Now they both sit in the middle room.

Jonathan hugged Veronica's waist, he understood that the woman was still upset. The man kissed Veronica back on the neck at a glance then carried her leaning against Jo's chest field.

"You want what kind of wedding concept Ve is? " ask Jonathan.

"It's better to talk about the wedding later Jo, after all you can't move on from Lizzie. I'm just afraid that marriage is ruined if there's no trust and love in it" Veronica said.

The woman was about to leave but Jo pulled her over the lap. The two stared at each other. "Give me a chance Ve, help me forget my love for Lizzie" Jonathan pleaded.

"Well I give you a chance Jo, if you can't forget it I'll step back and get out of your life" Veronica said.

Jo shook her head, not wanting to lose Veronica. It sounded selfish indeed, but the man wanted Veronica to be by his side at all times.

"I never thought of you as my bed partner Ve, you are mine at all times" muttered Jonathan. Veronica immediately hugged him, they were just as enjoying this newly knit love affair.

The beautiful woman kissed Jonathan on the forehead gently. The ringing of her cell phone caught her attention, Veronica was not allowed to get off Jonathan's lap.

"Hello Lizzie, how'd it go

until? " ask Veronica enthusiastically. He turned the call into a video call.

"It's Ve, right now we're on the beach right now" Lizzie said.

"Who are you with Ve? " ask Lizzie with her suspicious look.

"Jonathan. " answered Veronica briefly. Lizzie is of course surprised, Veronica tells Lizzie about her relationship with Jo. The two continued chatting for a few minutes, after which it ended. The woman put her cell phone on the table. His focus was again on Jonathan who was now staring at him.

Veronica rubbed the lover's handsome face gently. He landed a sweet kiss on Jonathan's lips.

"We'd better have dinner first" said Veronica who came down from Jonathan's lap. The two of them went straight to the dining table. The woman also feeds her big baby who wants to be spoiled.

Veronica and Jonathan are on the balcony. Both of them enjoyed such a beautiful view. The handsome man actually watched his woman in silence. They were only briefly there after that into the room.

"Jo, did you deliberately throw your seeds inside? " ask Veronica after they lean on the headboard of the bed.

"Yes I was deliberately Ve, if one day my seed will grow in your stomach. That means you will never be able to leave and forget me just like that" Jonathan said with a sly grin.

"You're really crafty huh. " muttered Veronica in an exasperated tone. Jonathan responded with laughter. The handsome man hugged Veronica from the side. He took something from the greetings drawer of his desk.

A diamond ring, he immediately pinned to Veronica's finger. In addition, Jo also gives a necklace for the lover. Veronica stared in disbelief at the gift Jo gave her.

"You are mine Sweety, I won't let you walk away from me! " said Jonathan.

"Thanks you! " Veronica immediately kissed the lips of the lover Jonathan replied wildly. The woman ended it, buried her head in the chest of Jo's field then closed both her eyes.

Before long a soft snoring sound made Jonathan chuckle. The man looked down, finding his woman had fallen asleep soundly in his arms.

"I promise to look after and make you happy Ve. I'll be sure no one will hurt you physically and mentally anymore" Jonathan murmured solemnly. He landed a kiss and then closed his eyes.
