Chapter 21 The Conflict

Lizzie is, of course, upset by the mother's words agreeing with Jonathan. All this time he had nothing to do with Jonathan, just a friend.

"Sucks. " murmured Lizzie.

Lizzie is swimming in the back pool. Without him knowing, someone was watching.

Edgar jumped into the pool. The man approached the former, hugging him from behind.

"Aakh. " cried Lizzie.

"Baby it's me. " whispered Edgar. Lizzie turned her head, she breathed a sigh of relief after finding out if it was Edgar who was hugging her. The woman pushed the body of the ex, she went back to swimming.

Edgar approached him, now they were at the corner of the pool. The handsome man watched his woman closely.

"Why are you avoiding baby? " ask Edgar to his ex-wife.

"I'm kelp same mommy." said Lizzie with her beak face. The woman said the reason why she avoided Edgar.

Edgar rubbed his face rough, hugging his woman from the side. Lizzie just kept quiet, I don't know what she's thinking right now.

"We got married first baby. About your parents, we'll take care of it later. "gag Edgar.

"Just think about it later Ed, I don't want to rush to remarry." muttered Lizzie. The woman broke away from the arms of the ex. He quickly climbed up, put on his robe and went inside. Edgar let out a long sigh, immediately went upstairs and picked up his clothes.

Lizzie gives Edgar a change of clothes and lets him change. The woman went straight to her room.

Lizzie's cell phone rang, the woman immediately picked it up. It turned out that the daddy was contacting him at this time.

"Lizzie are you with Edgar right now? " ask Daddy Farhan without further ado.

"Where does daddy know? " ask the surprised Lizzie.

"Didn't you say you didn't want to have another relationship with your ex-husband Lizzie" Daddy Farhan said.

"Daddy asks Edgar to leave your penthouse, daddy just doesn't want you to get hurt by him anymore

son " said Mr. Farhan to his daughter.

Lizzie just kept quiet and didn't say anything. He listened to the wise advice of the father.The woman also revealed her heart.

"Please tell me mommy Dad, between me and Jo is just a friend" said Lizzie calmly. The woman ended her conversation with the daddy. He chose to go out of the room and down the stairs.

"Daddy and mommy are against me going back to you Ed. " said Lizzie honestly.

"I'll see them tomorrow Liz, you take it easy" said Edgar calmly.

"I just need proof not a sweet promise, Mr. Edgar! "

Edgar was about to speak again but his phone rang. The man picked her up, immediately chatting with the assistant. Finding a client who wants to meet him tomorrow makes him swear slowly.

"For a while we enjoy our present status. After all, what have you broken your promise, right? " sinic Lizzie.

"I'm sorry, I'm going home to Liz" said Edgar. The handsome man immediately left the residence of his ex-wife.

Lizzie looked disappointed but she chose resignation. He was very sure if Edgar would not give up just like that to fight for him.

What should I do now, honestly I still love Edgar. But it looks like mommy and daddy won't give me and Edgar their blessing. Edgar, why is our way back again so difficult, are we not meant to be together again. Do I have to accept Jonathan and erase his love for Edgar?

On the other side

Edgar looked limp, at this moment the man was in the residence of the mother. He expressed his complaints and his wishes to the mother. Mami Diora was quite saddened by the fragile state of her son.

"You have to prove that everything that happened was a misunderstanding. Reassure your former in-laws " said Mami Diora wisely.

"But what can mi, considering that om Farhan so hated me. " muttered Edgar lethargicly. Mami Diora patted the child on the shoulder, she gave support to her son.

"In addition to that I have a fairly heavy rival mi, he's Jonathan a close friend of Lizzie's.

Mami Diora asks the child to compete healthily. He could only give advice to the distraught Edgar. Edgar leaned his body on the sofa.

There was the sound of a long breath out of Edgar's lips. Right now the handsome man was looking for a way out of his problems. Edgar pulls out his phone, sends his assistant to find out about Jonatan.

He put his phone in his pants pocket after his business was done.

"I went to my mom's room. " Edgar got up quickly leaving his mother alone in the living room. Mami Diora will of course not stay silent, it looks like she needs to meet her former comrades tomorrow.

The middle-aged woman immediately contacted Lizzie's parents and invited them to meet tomorrow. When he finished, he put his phone back on the table.

Late at night Lizzie was on the balcony of her room. The woman stared at the torrential rain that was soaking the ground. The woman repeatedly exhaled a heavy breath. He thought deeply about the relationship between himself and Edgar.

Feeling the air getting colder, Lizzie chose to go inside and closed the balcony door. The woman got on her bed, climbed into the bed and leaned against the headboard.

Lizzie picked up the book, in order to shift her mind at this moment. After a few minutes, he returned the book. The beautiful widow took over her cell phone and called Jonathan.

"Hello Jo, can we meet? " ask Lizzie to make sure.

"Did you miss me, baby? " ask Jonathan.

"Oh come on Jo, I'm not kidding please"." Lizzie said seriously.

"OK, okay we meet tomorrow. " Jonathan stopped his laughter. They chatted on the phone casually. Lizzie ends her conversation with Jonathan. He only replied to the good night from the handsome man.

Lizzie remembers Jonathan's kindness to her all along. He let out a long sigh, the woman felt guilty towards Jonathan.

"Honestly Jo, I can't bear to make you my escape" muttered Lizzie. But how else can love not be forced in any way. He hopes his decision is correct. Lizzie doesn't want to destroy the feelings of a man as good as Jonathan.

The woman immediately lay on the bed, her right hand pulling the blanket up. Lizzie tried to close both her eyes, she needed to rest at this time.

A moment later, Lizzie opened her eyes again. He remembered the conversation of his parents. There was a rough swearing outward from Lizzie's lips. Right now he is so dazed, confused about who to choose between Jonathan or Edgar.
