Chapter 17 Edgar's Effort

The next day Evelyn came to Edgar's villa. The woman brought food for her future husband.

Seeing Evelyn's presence made Edgar's mood deteriorate. The man remained silent as Evelyn asked him to speak.

Edgar pushed him to the floor hard. He ignored the pain Evelyn felt. The man immediately called out his two bodyguards.

"Take this damn woman away if you need to throw her into the woods." sniffed Edgar with his sharp eyes.

Evelyn shook her head, the woman looked frightened and tried to rebel. Two bodyguards immediately took him outside.

Edgar let out a rough sigh, it felt like he was eager to hit Evelyn with his hand. The man chose to leave his villa.

Evelyn, on the other hand, tried to rebel but her strength was far lost. One of the bodyguards hit his nape unconscious.

Edgar was now on the beach, calming himself there. He put out a ring in his hand. The ring belonged to Lizzie who the woman had left in the hospital.

"You really let go of our bond Lizzie, have you forgotten me so easily" murmured Edgar. The man clasped Lizzie's ring tightly.

The ringing of his cell phone caught his attention. The man kept the ring in his wallet. Edgar pulled out his phone then pressed the green button.

"We have removed Miss Evelyn sir.

"Observe him and don't let him run away" Edgar said. The man immediately disconnected his connection, put his cell phone into his pants pocket.

"I should have gotten rid of Evelyn a long time ago, because of her I lost you Lizzie" Edgar said regretfully.

Edgar rubbed his face rough, he was thinking of a way to get Lizzie back. The man got up from there and got back in the car.

The handsome widower drove his four-wheel drive towards the address of Lizzie who was sent by his men. There the man got out of his car, pressing his bell.

Lizzie was stunned to see Edgar's presence at the door of her penthouse. What did you come here for? " ask Lizzie with her thin tone.

Edgar just walked in without caring about the swearing from his ex-wife. Lizzie closed the door of the penthouse and caught up with her in the living room.

"Damn again the man." said Edgar to see the presence of Jonathan.

The man chose to sit next to Lizzie, he deliberately wanted to make Jonathan jealous. Jonathan himself held back his laughter looking into Lizzie's absurd ex-husband.

"You're why Ed, stay away. I'm not comfortable if you sit tight with me. " said Lizzie in an irritated tone.

Edgar was just plain indifferent, Lizzie herself began to rise up and move away from the former husband. The woman felt uncomfortable around her. Jo who saw it immediately calmed Lizzie down.

"Hello I'm Jonathan, Lizzie's future husband. "greet Jo politely.

"I'm Edgar, her ex-husband, " answered Edgar briefly. The man's aura showed hostility. Jonathan responded with a smile. Lizzie rests her head on Jonathan's shoulder.

Edgar let out a long sigh, trying to control himself so as not to get out of control. It was like screaming to see the attention Lizzie showed Jonathan.

Lizzie was so comfortable being near Jonathan. Without him noticing there was a pair of eyes that looked at him in jealousy.

"Yes, you guys continue talking. " Lizzie quickly got up, leaving Jonathan and Edgar in the living room. After Lizzie's departure, Edgar's focus was on Jonathan.

"Stay away from him, I want to go back with Lizzie" Edgar said with his flat face.

"You don't know how Lizzie's been suffering for so long. She lost her fetus when Lizzie had an accident. It left him quite traumatized" Jonathan said.

"What's? " Edgar was so shocked by Jonathan's statement just now. Suddenly guilt hit him. Remember what he said yesterday when he accused Lizzie.

Jonathan explained what Lizzie had been through for two years to Edgar. The handsome man was silent at the expression his rival showed.

"If you still love Lizzie, stay away and let her seek her happiness" Jonathan said wisely.

Before long Lizzie came, she now brought drinks for her two guests. The woman completely ignored the existence of her ex-husband. Edgar himself looked at her in silence with his guilty look.

Edgar let out a long sigh, it felt so tight that his presence was not considered at all by Lizzie. The man immediately drank his coffee with mixed feelings. He put his cup on the table, Edgar immediately said goodbye to Lizzie. It is clear that his love is still the same for his ex-wife.

"I went home first Liz. " Edgar murmured up from his seat.The man immediately got up and sauntered away.

"Liz, you can take her to the front.

"No need for Jo. " answered Lizzie briefly.

Jonathan himself could only respond with a smile. He won't force Lizzie to do what she doesn't like. His hands stretched out, rubbing Lizzie's head gently.

The next night Veronica had just returned home, the woman joined Jonathan and Lizzie. The girl rolled her eyeballs as Jo winked at her.

"Geez Lizzie, where did you find this rare species from? " ketus Veronica pointed at Jonathan.

Lizzie laughed loudly at Veronica's words just now. Jonathan himself snorted amusedly with Veronica's words to him. The two women immediately gossiped, Jonathan let it go.

"Let's have dinner together." take Lizzie to the two. The three of them immediately moved from there to the dining table. The laughter colored the third chatter. Veronica looked at the friend who looked happy.
