Chapter 80 The Father and Son Conversation

Andi did not linger at Dinda's party. The young man immediately took his leave after his last chat with Jony. At least Dinda knows that Andi has come and also, the young man has given a gift to Dinda. There was no problem if he left early before the party was really over.

Out of the hotel, Andi immediately called Damar. Since last meeting with the man, Andi has asked for his contact, to help him clarify the misunderstanding between Andi and his father. The young man had not expected himself to contact Damar so soon.

“Hallo Young Master Prayudi.” Say hello to Damar at the end of the phone connection.

“Hallo where are you now?”

“I'm at Young Master's headquarters. What's the matter Young Master looking for me?”

“I need you to help me clarify the incident the other day to my father. I'm sure you already know where my dad used to go. We meet there in twenty minutes.”

“Alright Young Master I'll be there soon.”

“If you have arrived first, do not go straight to see my father. Just wait for my arrival there.” Andi Pinta.

There's a reason Andi said this. If Damar comes to his father first, it could add new misunderstandings. Andi needs to straighten things out. The young man had already pocketed some evidence to help him clear his name of all Andi's accusations.

Andi hopes that after tonight, all misunderstandings can be cleared up. Although Andi seems to still choose to live in Surabaya later, but he still has another place that he can call home.

With all his problems with Aripto over, at least Andi can go home to his parents, meet his younger siblings or even take them for an open walk. Not secretly like before.

Dealapan twelve minutes later Andi arrived at the location where his father usually left to wait for orders. Andi did not see his father's whereabouts at the online motorcycle taxi driver base. It seems like his father is on order right now.

“Young Master.” A voice made Andi turn her body. The young man looked at Damar who had just got off his bike. “I'm sorry that's late Young Master.”

Andi flicked one hand. “You don't have to apologize. You belom late from the time we promised. After all, my father wasn't at the online ojek base. Chances are he still has orders.”

“Ah so like that huh Young Master. Then, are we going to wait here or look elsewhere?” Ask Damar.

Right now they were standing on the sidewalk, it was clear it was not a comfortable place for them to wait for the Aripto. They don't know when Aripto will return to base. It can be long too, fast. So, they better wait in a comfortable place, right?

If you are afraid of getting beaten up by Om Burhan because of the way he calls you impolite, just call me Mas Andi. It was much better than Young Master.”

“Alright Mr. Mu... ah, well Mas Andi.” said Damar corrected his call after getting a sharp gaze from Andi.

“We'll wait for my dad at the cafe. From there we can tell if my dad is back.” Said Andi while pointing towards the cafe across the street.

When they were just about to cross the road, from the corner of his eyes Andi saw his father's status with his motorbike. “We're not going there. That's my dad's already come.”

Aripto just got off his bike when Andi called him. It seemed that his father was unaware of Andi's whereabouts near the base. If you know, Andi guess his father preferred not to stop by the base.

“Dad.”

Aripto turned his head. The man then saw his eldest son who he had driven out of the house standing there. Aripto's view not only stopped there, he saw the presence of thugs who the other day reported to him.

‘Why did the boy come here along with that thug?’ Aripto murmur in the heart.

“Do you want to see me again?” Asked Aripto with a pretty cynical tone.

“I want to talk to dad about something.” Andi Pinta.

“We talk about everything well with a cool head. Come on, give me a chance to explain everything. At least you need to hear all my explanations first, right? After that, I can cover everything. Don't conclude everything yourself like this, even though you haven't listened to the story from my version.” Please Andi.

Aripto was silent for a moment. What his son said has a point. At that time he was too carried away by emotions so it did not provide an opportunity for Andi to give a detailed explanation. Maybe he will follow his son's advice, listen to all his explanations and then draw conclusions, whether what he thinks is the same as reality or not.
