Chapter 149 Acquisition

Although his family was fine, Andi still could not feel calm. His mission was considered a failure by the system. This meant that there were people he knew who were in danger before.

Marcel read a proposal to him. Eleven o'clock before lunchtime, his secretary suddenly said someone wanted to see him. The person said that he brought a proposal that could save his business from going bankrupt.

Marcel thought the person would inject funds to get his business back into operation after the amount of funds withdrawn. But, after reading all the proposals until it ran out, it turned out that it was not what he thought.

Marcel then put his proposal on the table. He looked at the man in front of him. He introduced himself as Purnomo, a director of an investment company. Purnomo came to his office with the intention to buy all his shares and shares owned by Marco.

“So, you want to acquire my company?” Ask Purnomo.

“Yes. Everything was in that proposal. I'm intending to buy all the shares belonging to you and your sister. My company wants to be the largest shareholder in your company.” Purnomo.

“But it's cheap. My shares and Marco's shares in the amount are fifty-five percent of the shares. You only gave us one hundred and twenty billion for all our shares. I can't take it.” Reject Marcel.

“I also can't take it.” Marco Imbuh.

“But, at the moment the value of your shares is very down. Last time I saw, per share of your shares less than two thousand rupiah. From the news I heard, currently many investors are starting to withdraw funds from your company.”

“The value of the stock decreases, the funds withdrawn by the investors, I'm sure if you can't handle it, then this company will go bankrupt. If that time comes, your shares will drop in value. You better accept this offer.”

That's almost double the price of the exchange. So according to Purnomo, with their current circumstances, all Marcel can do is sell this company. If Marcel does not do that, it is certain that there will be many losses that Marcel needs to bear.

Withdrawable investor funds, not much income, and large expenditures, certainly made Marcel lose money. From the information that Purnomo got, Marcel has sold many of his personal assets to return all investor money.

So, the man should have accepted his offer to sell all his shares. At least by selling his shares, he could save his remaining assets. Not only that, the money from the sale of these shares can be used as capital to create new business.

“You can't reject my proposal right away. Think carefully about all this. I'll give you one day to make a decision. If it's more than a day, I'm not sure I can give you the same price. The longer the value of your shares decreases.” Purnomo.

“Does the decline in our company shares have anything to do with you Mr Purnomo?” Marcel asked suddenly.

The thought suddenly flashed through Marcel's brain. After he was swayed like this, suddenly someone came and intended to acquire his company. Purnomo seemed to have been waiting for the right time to make an acquisition.

“Then now? Are you now intending to acquire our company for one hundred and twenty billion. Now you have that much money. This means most likely you are involved in lowering the stock price of my company.”

“There was someone who asked us to buy this company. We are just intermediaries. And sorry, we will not tell the identity of our client.”

These are the instructions that you give. In his email, Andi said that there is a friend who intends to acquire the company owned by Marcel. They asked Andi to buy it.

Marco was silent, looking at the expression of Purnomo who answered all the questions of his brother. He wanted to see if there was a lie about what Purnomo said or not.

Whether Purnomo was telling the truth or the man was very clever at hiding his expression, Marco did not know. Clearly, Marco did not see the lie in Purnomo's face at all.

Purnomo did not know at all that Andi was responsible for this problem. He just followed Andi's instructions to acquire this company. The rest Purnomo did not know.

“I agree to sell all my shares to you.” Marco said suddenly.
