Chapter 163 Fire (2)

When Andi arrived at one of his burning cafes, the fire that burned his cafe had not been completely extinguished. Andi did ask his bodyguard to speed a little so that he could get to his cafe soon.

Andi usually takes an hour and a half to get to Surabaya. But now because he was traveling at high speed and also a late day, making Andi spent an hour and ten minutes to get to Surabaya.

Andi came to Surabaya with her parents. My mom and dad went to another cafe. They can't be in the same place now. All three cafes were burning simultaneously. So, one of them as a cafe owner, must be on site.

Andi got out of his car and walked over. The fire from the fire did not spread to the shophouse next to Andi's cafe. Seeing this Andi was increasingly convinced that this fire was indeed on purpose.

Andi put on a pretty serious face. His lips were tightly closed to form a straight line. This was the first attack that Andi received, regarding his business. If he can not overcome this problem, in the future if his business is stuck in the problem, it will be quite difficult for Andi to solve it.

Andi then circulated his gaze to the area around the cafe. He wanted to find out the existence of surveillance cameras around his cafe. Andi found several surveillance cameras owned by several shophouses there.

Seeing that, Andi immediately gave orders to his men. “Chayan, have Kim hack all the surveillance cameras here. I want him to make a copy of the surveillance camera footage from the area near all my cafes burned.”

“I want Kim to find out who's had a suspicious sting for the past three days. I want tomorrow afternoon, Kim has given me a report about it.” Andi's orders.

There's a reason Andi has been asking Kim to find out about a suspicious person for the past three days. Andi believes that whoever burned the three cafes, that person must have made observations to the cafe.

Andi believes, three days ago, the arsonist wandered around his cafe. If Andi can find the arsonist, then later it will be easier for Andi to find out who is behind this burning.

“Good Boss.” Answer Chayan.

Not long after, a woman who looked to be in her twenties, came closer towards Andi. The woman was wearing a pajama with a picture of Doraemon and a flip-flop. Her hair looks a little messy.

With her appearance like that, the woman looked like a person who had just woken up from her sleep. Andi believes that she really just got out of bed. The woman is Dilla, one of the managers of the cafe.

“Mas Andi.” Sapa Dilla to Andi.

Andi nodded slowly to Dilla. “Actually what happened to Dilla? Why is the cafe burning like it is today?”

Dilla shook her head. “I don't know the Boss. Before I got home I checked everything. There's nothing wrong. Then me and the others went home. Just when I was just sleeping, I suddenly got a call from someone who reported that our cafe had a fire.”

“Then I called Ms. Nisa. After that I came here. When I arrived, the fire was already growing. The fire almost spread to the shop next door. Fortunately, the fire department arrived on time. So the fire didn't spread to the store next door.” Obviously Dilla.

Andi nodded hearing that. “Have you seen anyone suspicious in the past few days around here? I mean people who often observe in the direction of our cafe?”

Even though the cafe was only open for a day, but the cafe workers have been here for one week. They did the training before the cafe actually opened. So, Adni wanted to ask Dilla this.

It's possible that she's found out about a suspicious-looking person around here the last few days. If Dilla can give the characteristics of that person, then it will be easier for Andi to investigate this incident.

Hearing Andi's question, Dilla fell silent for a moment. The woman did not expect that her boss would ask her this. Does his boss suspect that this fire was intentional? Someone did it.

According to Dilla, it was likely to happen. How could the fire department arrive so quickly. Everything is as calculated. The fire department came when the fire was about to creep into the shop next door.

The woman tried to remember if there were any suspicious people around the cafe lately. Then Dilla remembered the incident two days ago.

“Mas Andi, two days ago there was a man who suddenly came to our cafe. Our cafe worker told him we're not open yet. But the man still wanted to enter. She said she wanted to hitch a ride to the bathroom.”

“The man said, since we haven't fully opened yet, it's fine for him to hitchhike to the bathroom. He won't disturb the other end of the cafe. So we let him in. When inside, the man is seen looking around the cafe.” Obviously Dilla.

Hearing that, Andi put a jealousy to the man. Why did he choose his cafe which was clearly not open to ride to the bathroom. In the area around here there are several other cafes and also a mini market.

That guy could have gone somewhere else, right? Then, Dilla said that the man was seen observing the inside of the cafe. Andi grew suspicious of the man.

“How are the characteristics of the person?” Ask Andi.

“Dia High Mas. If not mistakenly remembered, he was as tall as Mas Andi's temple. His hair is short, the cake pieces apparatus so. Then, the skin is ripe. As I remember it was Mas. Tomorrow morning I'll ask the other kids. Maybe I gave the wrong information or something less.”

“Good thank you.”

Although not entirely accurate, but the characteristics given by Dilla about the man was quite helpful. Later, Andi can ask Kim to find out if the last few days there are men who have these characteristics around here.

If there really was, then Andi would think of a way to capture that person. Andi did not need to arrest all the perpetrators from the burning of the three cafes. One is enough now. Later, the person will tell you information about the others.

Andi immediately told the suspicious person's characteristics to Chayan, to be conveyed to Kim later. Now Andi just had to keep an eye on the fire extinguishing the fire in his cafe.

Twenty minutes later, a policeman approached Andi and Dilla. The police asked Andi and Dilla a few things about the fire that occurred in Andi's cafe.

“Good thanks for the information you provided. We will investigate this fire first. For now, it is not certain the main reason that is the cause of the fire.” Said the policeman.

“Alright Sir thanks for the information. I will wait for news of his investigation.” Andi.

After the policeman left, Andi then looked at Dilla. “Better you go home now. I'll take care of this now.”

“It can't be like that Mas Andi. Anyway, I'm in charge of this cafe. So, I can't go home so long before the fire goes out.”

“Then you sleep in my car. Later, if the fire has been extinguished I will wake you.”

Andi then asks Chayan to take Dilla to his car. That woman needs to sleep now. He looks very tired now. The woman had worked pretty hard in her cafe. So, he should have rested by now.

Half an hour after Dilla had rested, the new flames were completely extinguished. Andi waited twenty minutes for the temperature inside the cafe to drop. After that, Andi went into his cafe. There was nothing left of this cafe. All burned up without any noise.

If all the cafes are like this one, then Andi reckons that he lost six hundred to eight hundred million each. If summed up with the fires of the three cafes, Andi suffered a loss of one point eight billion rupiah to two point four billion rupiah.

This was the first loss that Andi experienced. And it wasn't because of the mistake Andi made. But, because someone deliberately set fire to his cafe. Whoever he is behind the burning of his cafe, Andi will avenge him.
