Episode 17's

Do not expect adequate lighting in remote villages kayak gini. The houses of the inhabitants were very simple, ground-based, wooden-walled and roofed weeds. There is not even half the size of my office. Sometimes I think it makes me grateful, even though my life is mediocre but at least I am luckier than them.

I caught Malahar who still looks limp into his house. With a rather hoarse voice, the boy called out to his grandmother. "Waa'i.. Wa'i.."

"Malahar?" there was a loud noise from inside the house walking towards the door. The open door of the wood revealed an old woman with gray white hair, a thin body and a slight bow. "Malahar is home? Earlier, Maluo said Malahar was taken to the clinic" said the grandmother limping while groping her grandson's face.

"Yes Wa'i. Sorry Malahar just got home, left Wa'i alone at home. Kalere where's Wa'i?"

"Your sister is asleep. Malou's Ina helped Wa'i take care of Kalere." Wa'i's gaze turned towards me. He seemed to squint his eyes trying to guess who was standing next to his grandson. "This is the army, right?"

"Iya Wa'i" I replied while kissing Wa'i's hand.

Wa'i memorized the same to me. Several times I met Wa'i when he was on social service. Maybe because Wa'i has night blindness he is less able to see my face.

"Thank you, soldier and everyone who has bothered to take Malahar home. Here..here, everybody get in first"

I helped Wa'i walk into the house while Tristan grabbed Malahar and laid the boy on his simple bed. There was something unusual about Wa'i, his face looked very pale and his skin felt rather hot.

"Wa'i sick?" ask me after helping Wa'i sit down.

"Wa'i it's okay. How's Malahar? What's he sick of?"

"Kendra came here the same doctor who examined Malahar. Let the doctor clear on Wa'i"

"Mom doctor.. Even ndak why, right?"

"Wa'i take it easy. Malahar has taken medicine. Staying well rested to recover quickly" Khanza tried to comfort Wa'i.

"Thank God. Wa'i was confused when Maluo said Malahar was taken to the clinic. Wa'i can't go far to pick up Malahar. Thank you doctor and the army for bringing Malahar home"

"It's our job Wa'i. But Wa'i looks very pale. Wa'i sick?"

"Wa'i is old. It's been a lot of pain"

"Let Khanza check ya Wa'i"

Struggling with his medical devices, Khanza tries to diagnose the state of Wa'i. Three digit numbers are printed on a digital thermometer attached to Wa'i's neck. Thirty-eight point seven. I'm the one who understands that Wa'i has a fever. Next Khanza took out his stethoscope and small flashlight. He observed with a keen eye every single mark on Wa'i's body while occasionally asking, "What has Wa'i been feeling lately?"

"Wa'i's stomach hurts. It's been Wa'i repeatedly in and out of the bathroom"

"Sorry Wa'i, is the time Wa'i defecate a diluted form?"

"Yes the doctor"

"What has Wa'i been consuming lately?"

"As usual, doctor. Sometimes rice, sometimes tubers, and vegetables can be around"

"When you drink?"

"The water is ripe, right?"

"Yes. But take the water away in the valley there. There's a water source close by in the swamps, but it's getting dry"

Khanza seemed to nod, "Wa'i, while Wa'i do not eat rough first. Eat porridge or that has been mashed. Khanza give the medicine later Wai drink and rest a lot."

"But then Malahar.."

"Wa'i take it easy. Let us take care of Malahar"

"Wa'i's a hassle to the army and the doctor"

"Not at all Wa'i. Khanza is happy to help Wa'i"

"Wa'i can only say thank you. But Wa'i has nothing at home. There is no blanket. Especially food to serve"

"Wa'i don't think about that. We've brought all the equipment from the base. So Wa'i just calm down. Now Wa'i rest ya."

I drove Wa'i back to his bed. After making sure Wa'i slept comfortably, I returned to the front.

"Tris, you go home first to Headquarters. Take Khanza with Regina. Let me be here"

"It can't dong. It was as if I was going home. I still want to be here" Khanza interrupted our conversation.

"But Sa.."

"Gue's doctor. What if anything happens later? I don't want to go back to headquarters. If you want to go back, go back alone sono"

I squeak my head, dizzy... The stone head angel.

"Yes already. You're the one behind Tris. All reports to the commander that I may not be joining the morning apple tomorrow"

"Yes cook me leave you alone here anyway Sir. Later if there's anything you're overwhelmed." Follow me again this one rat got. Pake sokan is worried. Dregs. I know he is just a doang mode. Regina's new opportunity.

"If you know we don't go home, you'll check on the Commander"

"Let me say the same according to that one. Wouldn't dare him pry" the doctor spoke up.

"Yes. Thanks, doctor." Seneng tuh electric pole.

"But you take it all the way from beside me this mall" whispered Khanza to Tristan.

"Ashiaapen"

Uh, I'm not gonna do anything, right, this malem?
