Chapter 29. Karmila's Suspicion

Faiz immediately embraced and helped massage Karmila.

"Go-go there!" The man pushed Radit with one hand.

"Come Ayu let's just go. People if songong in please instead of thank you but instead throw us out. He does not know what it will be if we do not come on time, he could be shocked to see his wife passed out bitten by a snake" Radit said while pulling Ayu's hand out of the house.

"Thank you to both of you!" karmila shouted as everyone opened the door.

"Sama-sama Karmila," Ayu said as she closed the door again.

"Come to the room!" Faiz led Karmila until she reached the bed.

"Rest, don't move much first!" faiz's orders then turned around.

"Wait on! Where is Bang Faiz going?"

Faiz looked at Karmila again. "In the car, I bought you some food."

Karmila smiled as she nodded and Faiz continued his steps out. Moments later Faiz returned with a plastic bag in his hand.

"Is that bang why it smells so good?" ask Karmila curious.

"Neither...." Faiz took the food out of the plastic bag.

"Oh jengkol."

"It's your favorite food, right?"

Karmila nodded even though she didn't really like the dish, but the woman knew Faiz liked it. I don't know what Faiz really wants when Karmila has said several times he can't consume the food. Faiz looks so strange, the man sometimes forces Karmila to like whatever he likes.

"What's this about?" tanya Karmila hoped Faiz would bring her some vegetables besides that.

"Burning chicken" said Faiz.

"Thank God, although there are no vegetables that matter there is a fish," said Karmila.

"Then I'll get you a plate first Bang." Karmila was about to rise, but was immediately prevented by Faiz.

"Let me take it you don't have to go anywhere first" Faiz said, stepping out of the room.

Not long after, Faiz returned with the cutlery in his hand. After pouring all the food, Faiz immediately invited Karmila to eat.

They also eat together.

"Her scab!" Faiz offered a jengkol because he saw that Karmila did not reach for a spoon.

"For Bang Faiz, it's Bang Faiz's favorite food."

"Our favorite food, so you should eat too." Faiz took it a few spoons and put it on Karmila's plate.

"Eat!"

Karmila. Before eating he first kissed the food.

"It's not good to smell food, it's better to just eat right away."

Karmila nodded and immediately tasted the cuisine.

"It doesn't feel so bad, is it because I'm pregnant with Bang Faiz's child that the child in my stomach loves this food?" karmila mumble.

"What did you say?" faiz asked hearing Karmila buzzing.

"Ah no, this jengkol is delicious only if pregnant people can not eat much of this."

"Oh yeah, why?"

"The word of parents used to cause lower abdomen pain, so pregnant people eat jengkol tuh no rules. He said it shouldn't be more than 100 grams."

"Then eat a little" Faiz suggested. She should keep her baby's chances of miscarriage if Karmila feels stomach pain.

They continued to eat without anyone speaking. Finished eating Faiz immediately brought their tableware to the kitchen.

"But! Can I ask you something?"

Faiz turned. "What?"

"Later on, it seems like you're having trouble carrying the equipment."

"Hmm, okay. Wait for me to get out of the kitchen."

Karmila nodded and Faiz continued his steps.

After returning from the kitchen Faiz sat in front of Karmila.

"What do you want to ask?"

"That's behind Bang Faiz's shirt, is there a trace of his blood?"

Karmila's question instantly made Faiz's face pale. "It .. it–u because I was able to help people. Yes, helping people on the street," Faiz replied nervously.

"Help people?"

"Yes there was an accident and I helped carry the injured person into the car to be taken to the hospital" Faiz said.

"Don't lie, right?" karmila asked a little suspiciously. In his logic, if Faiz was carrying a blood-soaked accident victim, it would not only be the back of his shirt that was dripped with blood, but the front of it must have blood.

"Why does Dek Karmila seem to suspect me of anything?" faiz asked in disbelief at Karmila's attitude.

"Whoever suspects Bang, Karmila will just ask."

"It's Deck, I'm tired, I want to take a shower and rest" he said. Faiz then came back out of the room

"Sensi very, very, so did Bang Faiz's tumben, but .. I also sensi heh has been thinking all kinds of things about him." Karmila shook her head to get rid of her bad thoughts.

"I'd better just fall asleep." Just about to break her body Karmila saw a shiny object beside her.

"Whose necklace is this?" Karmila grabbed the thing and examined it. Karmila guessed that it fell out of Faiz's pocket while sitting there.

Long Karmila observed the thing, but she could not deduce anything. Karmila also never thought that the necklace was a necklace that Faiz bought for her because the necklace did not look new.

There were steps leading to the room.

"Bang Faiz!" The shocked Karmila immediately hid the necklace under the mattress.

"Why you?"

Faiz's question suddenly made Karmila shocked because she was found like a slump on the side of the bed.

What if Bang Faiz is suspicious?

"My stomach hurt Bang, probably from eating too much jengkol earlier." Karmila.

"really? Didn't you just eat a little bit of it?" Faiz sped up his pace and directly carried Karmila's body onto the mattress.

"What should I do?" Faiz looks panicked.

"Calm down, Bang, I'm fine, just a normal stomachache."

"We'll just go to the doctor." Faiz made his decision.

"No Bang, it's not necessary. Maybe it'll heal itself."

"Just possible, right? Not sure, is it?" Without waiting for Karmila's approval, Faiz carried Karmila's body to the car.

"Great, what if I get caught lying?" inner Karmila.

"Relax Karmila, I can use this pregnancy as an excuse. Pregnant people are weird sometimes, right? Moreover, the abdominal pain that comes away may just be a commonplace." Karmila was smiling in Faiz's arms.

"The problem of the hospital is not important, what matters is who the owner of the necklace is" Karmila said in her heart. From this moment on she was determined to investigate her own husband.

Seriate.
