Home In Cemetery
Chapter 24. The Shadow of Silent Time

Faiz hesitated to walk back to his house.

"Where are you going? The ghost was walking towards your house." Someone pulled Faiz's hand so as not to continue his steps home.

Faiz followed the man who pulled him. For a moment she forgot that Karmila was at home with no one to accompany her.

"Drink coffee first!" Someone served a kettle filled with coffee in front of several people who were gathered in the neighboring house.

"No I go home, sleepy," Faiz refused.

"If this is what time it is, responsibility also if you want to sleep. Better just copy."

"Yes, too." Faiz finally complied. The aroma of tubruk coffee poured into a glass is so tempting to taste. His heart was held back by that sweet black drink.

Faiz sat down next to the people again while chatting about exciting things.

At home, Karmila was terrified to hear the cries inside the house. The woman had been looking for the origin of the voice from where, but did not meet either.

"Stop!" karmila shouted because the sound of crying seemed to make her eardrum almost broke.

Karmila's body was bathed in sweat, from that day screaming calling her husband's name no one heard, even the door of her house closed itself.

"Why did this house suddenly become strange?" karmila mumble.

"Mas Faiz!" screamed once more. Still, no one heard her screams.

"Why didn't anyone come back to this house? I'm sorry, don't haunt Karmila Ma'am," whined Karmila as the fragrance of flowers and incense gushed through the room.

"Mas Faiz why don't you go back?" The woman wiped the sweat off her forehead. The house was three times hot than usual.

As usual before there was a figure that appeared in the house was heard the voice of a woman who was chanting the Java chatter.

Karmila was stunned, never did she experience anything strange in this house except when she first entered the house and Karmila believed it was just a dream.

A shadow flashed in front of him.

A man dragged a woman away from the dressing room. The beautiful woman in the white bride dress who was sitting alone in a room refused and did not want to obey the man's desire to leave the wedding. As the man forced, the woman screamed for help.

Not wanting the woman's voice to be heard by the people out there, the man immediately smothered the bride's mouth with a tissue that was first drugged.

All the families that were so busy outside were unaware that the bride had kidnapped anyone. The man carried the beautiful woman in his carriage through the back door of the house which was quiet and unreachable by the people because the road was no longer used.

The groom who is shocked to hear the bride is not in place becomes misguided. He thought his future wife had run away from him with an ex-girlfriend. Due to his shock the man felt a very tightness in his chest and finally had a sudden heart attack.

The family immediately took the groom to the hospital. Unfortunately, on the way to the hospital there was an accident so that the groom and two families died on the spot.

"Who are they? Why did that happen to me?"

Karmila was confused and panicked. He did not understand what the incident meant to be shown to him.

"None of them I know" he said.

"You know how painful it is to lose a lover and a parent?" The sound of a woman's voice from the ceiling of the house was then accompanied by a heart-wrenching cry.

Soon Karmila looked up to find the origin of the sound, but still all he saw was the ceiling of the room filled with white lizards.

"I didn't see it wrong, did I? That voice wasn't from a lizard, was it?" Karmila was confused. Mind fucked.

"Hey who are you? Show me! Tell me what you want!" karmila shouted, she tried to neutralize her fear.

There's no answer. However, the next scene was plastered in plain sight.

"Aldia wait for me!"

"Aldia?" In the brain Karmila is full of question marks.

"Who's Aldia?" karmila mumble.

"Take me off! You're satisfied now, right? What do you mean kidnap me on my wedding day?"

"I only want one, you can't marry anyone. You can forever be mine."

"But I can't love you anymore, killer man!" Aldia shouted while pointing at the man's face.

"You'd better die if you have to be someone else's wife."

The not-so-obvious man looked at Aldia with great fear. Fear of the woman falling into the hands of another man.

"Oh you want me dead? Then look at this! You'll see my death."

The woman named Aldia immediately took a stone and hit her own head to drain fresh blood.

"Aldia don't!"

"Who is that man, why do I seem to recognize his voice? Akh! Why was his face not as clear as the others?"

Karmila ruffled her own hair. The woman looks stressed.

The woman named Aldia did not want to stop the action. He hit his own head so that more and more blood liquid came out and soaked his bridal dress.

"Aldia don't do this! Please!" screeched at the man whose face was as if in the blur.

"You're a murderer and now you're killing my future husband and my parents. You're a murderer!" Aldia's face seemed to tremble withstanding the already unbearable emotions plus the pain from his head that seemed to be breaking.

Aldia's body fell down and the man immediately grabbed the woman's body from touching the paved road.

"Aldia's awake!" The man patted Aldia on the cheek and the woman did not budge. The beautiful woman's face now turned deathly pale and her lips turned blue. A second later Aldia breathed his last breath.

"Aldia!" The man panicked and checked the girl's pulse.

"Aldia!" the man shouted hysterically.

People were running towards the man for help, but the man threw people out and said he could take care of the body of his future wife.

The man took Aldia's body somewhere and preserved it and put it in a crate.

Astaghfirullah al - adzim!" karmila exclaimed while rubbing her face with both hands.

"It was a terrible man" said Karmila.

"May You distance myself from such a man, O Lord." Karmila Prayer in the Heart.

The woman who had been singing the song, crying and crying to him was now heard laughing and gradually disappeared along with the roar of the night wind that was blowing loudly outside.

A moment later the door of the house seemed to be knocked from the outside.

"Who else is that? I hope it's not weird coming at me anymore."

Seriate.
