Rein was rushed to a nearby mansion. The rumbling sound of the hospital gurney wheel that brought Rein into the ICU room rang out as it echoed dragging the wound. Likewise with the roar of fear that boils down to the heartbeat of Aska. His tears seemed to pias covered in guilt.
"You must survive, my dear!" aska said while accompanying Rein. His hands were always faithfully grasping those cold Rein hands.
"Sorry, Sir. Please wait outside!"
Aska is forced to let go of Rein's hand, when the nurse forbids him from entering the operating room. The world seems to stop, fear rules the heart.
"Sorry Ambu and Abah, yes, Aska. Because we Rein are experiencing this." Ranti rubbed Aska's shoulder. While crying, the woman regretted her mistake. Condemn her husband's ridiculous idea of deceiving Rein.
Aska looked up and looked at her mother. His mind was filled with fear. Aska didn't know what to say. To be sure, it was him and his family that put Rein's life in danger.
"Aska was wrong, Ambu. We shouldn't fool Rein like that. She's pregnant. If anything bad happens to Rein and Aska's son. Maybe Aska will not forgive herself. Aska is truly sinful," said Aska. A puddle of tears had already stemmed in the corner of his eyes.
"Don't think badly of it, atuh. We'll do'ain hope your wife and son survive, yeah."
Aska took a deep breath, then took it out slowly. Both his eyes were closed, and in his heart he unceasingly offered the best do'a for the safety of his wife and child.

Aska could not stay in the same place while waiting for his wife in front of the operating room. The man was seen pacing around the door of the room. His gaze was occasionally fixed on the lights that lit above the door, a marker of the operation in progress.
Until the lamp went out, and soon a doctor in his trademark clothes came out of the room. Aska immediately approached the doctor and searched him with questions.
"How's my wife and son doing, Doc?"
The doctor opened a mask that covered his mouth and nose. His breathing sounded tired. "The operation went well. The baby has been successfully removed in good health and survived."
"Alhamdulillah." Sayings of gratitude were thrown from Ranti and Bahar's mouth together, while Aska just said quietly while rubbing her face that was too riled up.
"But his mother was still unconscious. Maybe because it's too much blood, so the patient's body condition is very weak."
Like being tossed high and then thrown again. Aska's heart was immediately crushed to hear the doctor's words. What if something bad happens to his wife? I can't imagine how broken her heart was.
"When will he realize, Doc?" ask Ask.
"We'll wait 24 hours. If the patient is still unconscious, we will continue to check. Hope everything's okay. A lot of do'a, sir! Excuse me first." The doctor left after patting Aska on the shoulder.
Moments later a nurse came out with a baby boy. "Sorry, Sir. This is Mother Rein's baby" the nurse said.
Aska was so moved to see the tiny figure. Clear details slide by themselves without being asked. His hand was stretched out to replace the nurse carrying her child. Aska does his first job as a father. Azaan and iqamah in each ear of his son.
The atmosphere outside the room turned blue. They were so happy to see her son Aska born safe and sound, but inside there Rein was still struggling between life and death. That made Aska feel bad.
*****
The cry of a baby boy echoed in one of the rooms. The baby was being carried by a man in a police uniform. Aska Raidhana who was about to leave for duty had to bother taking care of the baby alone. He asked his mother for help, who was preparing food at the table.
"Ambu, please Aska oruh, uh. This is Tara why do not want to be diem from earlier cry continuously," cried Aska while thrusting her baby at Ranti.
"By you, tea, kumaha? Ngurus aja baby just can not," decak the mother while reaching her grandson from the sling Aska. In an instant the baby was silent. Be calm in her grandmother's arms.
"Oh, Nini's granddaughter is a pinter. Don't want to be carried with you papa, huh? You want the same Nini?" Ranti asked her grandson to joke. The baby looked happy and laughed occasionally.
"Your hands are rough, Aska. That's why Tara does not want to be carried with you," said Bahar who was eating breakfast.
Aska snorted in annoyance, then pulled out one of the empty seats for her to sit on. "His name is also a man's hand, where there is a soft one," she sibirnya, then turned again to the mother, "nitip Tara for a moment, yes, Ambu. Ask for breakfast first," he asked. Ranti nodded and took her granddaughter out of the house, to take a walk and enjoy the fresh air in the morning.
After breakfast, Aska returned to her room. There was something he had to do before he left for work.
A smile was engraved on Aska's lips. His gaze was fixed on the king-size bed in the room. His steps approached a woman who was still curled up in a blanket. Aska sat on the edge of the bed, then landed a warm kiss on the woman's forehead.
"I go to work first, yes" whispered Aska in her ear. This made the woman blink her eyes. Consciousness began to crawl as her eyes slowly opened.
Rein Safira—the woman who had managed to steal Aska's heart immediately threw her sweetest smile. He sat down and leaned on the head of the bed.
"You want to go to work, Mom?" ask her with a raucous voice.
"Yes" answered Aska.
"Why don't you wake me up, Mom? Where's tara?" ask Rein again.
"The same Ambu. Abis salat dawn you overslept again. You must be tired of our son. So I'm taking Tara out, so she won't bother you."
"But I'm not taking care of you, Mom. I don't need your work equipment" Rein said. His face was made to frown. Aska did not want to be noticed by Rein since she gave birth. Even Rein was treated like a queen in that house. Not happy, Rein was upset. His role as a wife is useless.
"No need. I can do it myself, really. Inget said the doctor, you should not be tired after giving birth. Just taking care of Tara makes you tired, honey."
"In addition to being a mother, I am also your wife. You deserve my service, Mas. All this time you were so protective of my health, because there's still guilt in your heart, right?" Rein stared at Aska's legume bead.
Aska smiled, "I was wrong, honey. After that incident, I promise I will not make you soy again. Now, your health and that of our children is paramount."
Rein sighed harshly. Perhaps this is how Aska felt, as she insisted on blaming herself for the death of her brother Aska. The guilt that has been forgiven, but still imprints in regret. It was like a big wall between them. Maybe it's time they open a new leaf that the past doesn't overshadow.
