The sunlight bias infiltrated the window slit. Rein's two eyes slowly opened as he felt the reflection of light pierce through his retina. The sweet memories of last night, suddenly remembered when he saw a handsome face that was still sleeping soundly in front of him.
A red gush instantly radiated on his white cheeks. I was ashamed to imagine that. He immediately brushed off the shadow. As Rein moved a little, the pain that struck his lower half made him grimace in pain. That made Aska a little distracted.
"Why you?" ask Aska with a distinctive sound of waking up.
"Sick, Mas," Rein replied as he was.
"What part of the pain? Let me see!" Aska immediately sat down. He panicked to hear his wife feel pain.
Rein evasive reflexes. Covering his plain body with a tighter blanket. She shook off the hand of Aska who almost opened her blanket.
"Why? I just want to see" asked Aska, frowning.
"Shame, Iah!" answer Rein.
Aska laughs. "Why should you be ashamed. My people have seen it all, 'ok." Shamelessly, Aska said so.
Rein thaws. He looked around to see what time it was. "Eh, you're not going to the office, are you?" ask her after looking at the wall clock that shows eight o'clock.
Aska had just awakened. As a state servant, he should not be misfortune. "Gosh, what time is it?" Ask panicked. After looking at the wall clock with his own eyes, he rushed to the bathroom to clean himself.
Rein giggled at Aska's panic. Then he remembered Abian. Why didn't the boy wake them up. Is Abian not in school? He put on his clothes before returning to his room. Rein intends to take a bath there, because the clothes have not been brought to Aska's room.
"Dian?" Rein saw Abian sitting dumbstruck at the dinner table. The woman did not enter her room. He turned his body to the dining table near the kitchen where Abian was.
"Why are you sitting here alone, Bian? Not ready for school?"
Abian glanced at Rein lazily. The boy looked hungry asking for breakfast. "It's Sunday, Auntie. I had school off" he said.
"Oh, yes. It's a Sunday. Um you're not the night shift, are you?" Rein just remembered her husband's work schedule. It becomes pity if later the man is ready, but it turns out not to go. "But ajalah. Who was wrong last night he spelled me," inwardly, with a smile. She wanted to tell her husband the punishment.
"I'm hungry, Auntie."
Abian's words made Rein wake up. He forgot to make breakfast. "I'm sorry auntie, yeah, Bian. Aunt mishapangan. So why don't you wake up this aunt kayak usually," cried Rein while tying her long hair. Then walk to the refrigerator which is not far from the dining table. Rein was about to take the cooking ingredients. It will make instant fried rice.
"I went into Aunt's room, because it wasn't locked. But there is no tant. I think Auntie went to the stall again, so I'm waiting here. But why did Auntie come out of her room Om Aska?"
Rein smiled strangely. He was embarrassed to admit that he had slept with Aska last night. "Ehm .. was aunty abis minjem something same Om you," said Rein. If explained Abian will not understand.
Rein took the cooking ingredients he was about to process. He also sliced red onions. The dining table where Abian was sitting, was near the kitchen where Rein was cooking. The little boy faithfully waited for his breakfast.
"Tante, can I ask you something?" abian asked after the silence was created for some time.
"Ask!" Without turning towards Abian, Rein responded. His hands were still busy slicing the cooking seasoning for his fried rice.
"Aunty has long been the same Om-Om who we met at the Mall parking lot?"
"Does Auntie know she's a robber and a murderer?"
"Aw!" Rein choked until his hand was sliced by the knife he used to slice onions. His body immediately turned to face Abian who was also staring at him. Rein's forehead was filled with curious wrinkles. Why did Abian suddenly say that? How did he know his best friend was a robber? Those questions came to Rein's mind at this moment.
"Why do you ask me that, Bian? Do you know that aunt's friend?" ask Rein. His feet slowly stepped closer to Abian. I don't know why his feelings are so unsettled.
"I ...." Abian hesitated to answer. Until the arrival of Aska melted the tension between them.
"Darling, why didn't you tell me it was Sunday? You, don't you, know Sunday I'm part of the night job." Aska immediately grumbled. Then sit on the empty chair next to Abian, "have you made breakfast yet? I want to too, yeah!" pull up while propping up the chin. The warmth last night made it impossible for the man to scold his wife for just a small matter. So, Aska didn't extend it anymore.
Aska's gaze was fixed on Rein's bloody fingers. He hurried and approached his wife. He then said, "Your hand is bleeding?"
Rein's gaze that had been fixed towards Abian moved on his hand. He felt nothing, for his focus was only on Abian's words about his friend.
"See, I'll get you a red medicine!" Aska goes to take medicine for Rein.
Rein and Abian were still silent. The little boy lowered his head like he was scared. Not long ago Aska returned while carrying medicine for his wife.
"Slicing the knife until it does not feel gini?" Aska nagged while sticking plaster on his wife's finger. Then take over Rein's job making breakfast.
"Let me, my mother." Rein felt bad because her husband was continuing his cooking job.
"It's okay. You sit there with Bian. Wait for your husband to cook a special breakfast. Kan, last night you've done me, so now it's my turn to keep you."
Rein smiled clumsily. Actually she was ashamed her husband said that in front of Abian. However, his curiosity towards Abian's previous words was still very large. She wanted to ask now, but was afraid if her husband heard. Aska is a police officer, he will definitely investigate every crime that occurs. Even though Rein didn't know, why could Abian say that?
***
Around eight o'clock at night. Aska's gone on duty. From noon Rein was itching to interrogate Abian.
"Dear, are you asleep, baby?" Rein knocked on Abian's door, then asked, "aunty can come in, right?" rein asked again as Abian replied 'not yet asleep' from inside.
The door of the room is open. Abian stood before him Rein with a different look. Makes Rein a little hesitant to start saying.
"Tante came here to ask about what I said this morning, right?" abian asked breaking the silence. Rein nodded slowly.
"Actually the aunt's friend had robbed and killed my papa."
Rein's eyes opened perfectly to hear Abian's words. Rein was so stunned. His heart stopped suddenly. "Ng–no way, honey? Maybe you're wrong" Rein stuttered.
