Until late at night Rein could not close his eyes. His mind was always troubled by Abian's words. With great difficulty he convinced the boy that his best friend was not a murderer. Abian did not say if he believed Rein's words, but from the child's attitude that was not too cold, Rein thought that Abian was a little sure.
Rein tried many times to call Daren's number, but the man's number was always out of reach. "Where, anyway, is this guy?" decak Rein was annoyed while trying again to press the call button on the same number.
"Damn!" The end of Rein surrendered. He slammed his phone into the bed, then sat his body on the edge of the bed. With a huff he rubbed his face violently. Rein just wanted to ask Daren about the robbery they had committed at an officer's house a few months ago. Rein had remembered, at that time they had been caught by the owner of the house and Daren had a physical fight with the officer.
Rein escapes first because it is ruled by Daren, and the events after that Rein does not know. Did Daren really kill that officer? Until morning, the drowsiness began to attack. The woman fell asleep before the dawn prayer.
"Wine! I'm bad again." Rein was aghast when both of his eyes opened and immediately checked his phone. The timer there has shown at half-seven, while he has not prepared breakfast for Abian.
Rein rushed out of his room. He went straight to the kitchen to make breakfast for Abian. However, his steps were suddenly restrained when he saw that Abian was eating. Next to him was a woman sitting smiling. She is Asti, a neighbor and woman who loves her husband.
"Eh, Madame Rein. Just awake?" Asti who was shocked saw Rein instantly stood up. Feel bad because it is not polite to visit in the morning without permission to have a house.
That morning Asti brought breakfast to the Aska family. However, when Asti knocked on the door, the one who opened it was Abian. From Abian he finds out that Aska is still on duty and Rein has not woken up from his sleep. Asti also invited Abian to eat his breakfast first, because the child had to go to school at seven.
Rein smiled strangely listening to Asti's explanation. She feels like an unfilial wife. Somehow the feeling suddenly struck his heart. Though from the beginning he had planned to bring Aska closer to the woman who was now in front of him.
"Sorry, it's been a hassle, Ma'am. Thanks for the breakfast." Rein sat down next to Abian. Gently rub the child's head. Abian only looked at Rein for a moment, then went back to devouring the food that was still on his plate.
"It's okay, Ma'am. If I cook a lot, I often share it here. Mas Aska said, my cooking is delicious. She really likes my cooking, you know. Eh, sorry. Rein's mom wasn't offended, was she?" asti said as if there was a meaning veiled in those words.
Rein reviewed the smile. Staring at Asti from the place opposite the position of the woman. They faced off, but were blocked by the dining table. "Cooking is not my specialty, Ma'am. But said Mas Aska, he prefers my other skills. You know, don't you, what skill do I mean?" Rein said as he blinked one eye. As an adult woman, Asti certainly knows what her rival meant.
Asti bent his face not like. Just the first time Rein said as if he wanted to make her jealous. Whereas before Rein always acted as if supporting his love for Aska. However, today Rein made him not be able to hope for anything.
"I'm saying goodbye, yes, Ma'am." Asti chose to go rather than hurt. Rein smiled stifledly. His heart was so happy to see Asti who was so disappointed. Because of last night's incident, Rein now does not want to lose his Askana.
After breakfast, Abian sits on the terrace with Rein to wait for his school's invitation. There was no conversation between them. Aska was busy playing the game on Rein's phone. The child does often do so if it is waiting for such an invitation. Aska has not allowed Abian to have her own mobile phone, for fear of interrupting her study time.
"I'll go first, Auntie." Abian kissed the back of Rein's hand, after his school invitation arrived. Rein's hand waved until the pickup car disappeared from view.
"Whose phone, anyway?" Rein flinched as his phone suddenly grabbed from behind. Rein was unaware that her husband had come home.
"Mas, turn my HP back!" pinta Rein while trying to snatch her cell phone from Aska's hand.
"Daren's? Still love to connect with him, huh?" Aska put on a sour face when she saw Daren's name plastered on the front screen of Rein's phone.
Rein managed to snatch his phone along with the appearance of a notification, if his call was missed by Daren.
"He's my best friend, Mas. You can't tell me to keep her away, yeah!" rein said as she landed her body on the sofa.
Aska did the same. He sat next to his wife. "But you promised not to steal anymore. If you're still hanging out with him, you're gonna have a hard time changing."
Last night Rein also told Aska, if Daren's the one who stole the money in his wallet Aska when they were at the Mall last time. Aska actually wants to be angry. However, wanting his wife to change, Aska only asks Rein to promise not to hang out with Daren again. The man had a bad influence on his wife.
"I promised you wouldn't steal anymore, but I never promised to keep my best friend as well. Daren is like a big brother to me, Mas. So if you want me to make him die, I can't." Rein stood up to leave Aska, but Aska's hand managed to block Rein's hand so that the woman did not step on her foot.
Aska did not want their relationship to have just begun, but there was already a fight. "Okay, I'm sorry. I'm just afraid you're back at your old job. Don't be angry, yeah!" wheedle Aska.
Rein looked at her husband. Staring fixedly at the two Netra who pleaded sincerely. The smile on his lips was perfect. His heart immediately melted to see the look of those eyes. "Have you eaten?" ask Rein later.
Aska immediately stood up when the wife did not show a fierce face. The sweet smile on the woman's lips signaled her anger had gone. Aska also dared to hug Rein's body tightly.
"Ih, what the fuck, anyway. Asked, why, hug me?" rein protested as she pleaded for release, "wet, know!" rein added when her husband would not let go.
