The sound of water gurgling down from the roof of the house, there was a noise on the side of the window of Aska's room. The cold that resulted from the rain made his body even more cold. As if it could pierce through bones even wrapped in a thick blanket. Especially when it's late at night.
One's desires are tested at a time like this, let alone for a man. Likewise with Aska who has not met his wife for a long time. His curiosity was getting peaked when the breeze was as if skinning.
Aska moved her body as the cold began to take hold. Accidentally his hand clung onto something that made him comfortable. Feels warm and soft. It was his wife's face. Aska opened her eyes. He looked at that face while smiling happily.
After going through a minor debate about co-sleeping, Rein finally agreed to the terms and conditions. Aska must not pass through the bolsters that he made as the boundary of their bed territory. Rein did that because he still wanted to fortify his heart. The stubborn woman still insisted on divorce from Aska, after her son was born into the world. Aska was forced to agree, rather than see his wife sleeping on a hairy mat.
However, the desire that has been buried for a long time cannot be muted just like that. Moreover, the cold made a beautiful moment with his wife circling in the head of Aska.
"Come, As. Justdoit! She's still your wife, and you have every right to ask for your rights." The inner black side of Aska said.
Aska swallowed her saliva. When his eyes caught something sticking out behind the negligee Rein was wearing. Two twin hills crammed into each other. One button of Rein's shirt that accidentally opened making the hill more and more visible beauty. Aska's hand began to creep from Rein's cheek towards there.
"No, Aska! Your wife's gonna wake up and get angry, how is it?" Aska's inner white side undoes that intention. His hand stopped and floated right on top of the snowy hill.
"Well, wasn't it this big?" Aska matched his palm with the object under his shade. His head was slightly raised to observe how lush the tapestry hill he had once been. Pregnancy hormones make Rein's body look fuller and sexier.
Feeling the heat blowing on his cheek, Rein blinked and opened his eyes. How surprised he was when he saw Aska's face so close to his. Likewise with Aska's hand floating above her chest.
"What do you want, Mom?" pekik Rein's. Making Aska choke and instantly pull back her hand.
Rein sat down and pulled the blanket over his open chest. "You're gonna steal the chance, huh? Kan, I told you. I can't, Mom. I'm a big pregnant again," Rein added with a sharp glare.
Aska sighed harshly, then sat cross-legged to his wife. "If it's your impossible reason for your pregnancy, maybe I can accept it. I can slowly do it. But are you sure your reason is just that? Your reasons are tormenting me, Rein. As a husband I am entitled to my own wife. I am a normal man. Need an impingement when my body wants a release. I have long held it all together so as not to commit sins. Was I wrong, when my body reacted when I met my wife again?"
Rein was silent listening to Aska's long speech. More precisely catapulted all her tirits during this time. Aska must have suffered because she always held back her desires. Rein knew that her husband had above-average arousal levels if he was nearby.
"That's why you're divorcing me fast, Mom! You can find another woman to satisfy that desire."
"Enough, Rein! I don't want to talk about that. Now sleep! If you're afraid I'll do anything else, let me sleep on the floor." Angry, more precisely disappointed. Rein did not feel the slightest bit filled with his suffering.
"But, Mas—"
Aska's raised hand made Rein stop saying. Aska's cold face exceeded the cold temperature in the room, making Rein's heart ache a little. But what can I do. Rein has to be evil so he doesn't get trapped back.
*****
Aska has lived and served in her birthplace for a week. During that time Rein still kept his distance from Aska. Aska was still patiently waiting. He was sure Rein only needed time.
"Well done, Bah, harvest the fish?" Ranti approached her husband who was by the pool. Bahar was checking the scales from the fish deposited by his men a while ago.
"Udah, Ambu," he replied without taking his eyes off the note in his hand.
"There's a lot, right?"
"A lot even," replied Bahar, but did not show a happy face.
Bahar lifted his gaze from the note to his wife's face. "There are many alhamdulillah, but Abah tea still confused this."
"Why?" Ranti frowned looking at her husband's face.
"It used to be the nebar catfish seedlings were only 300, but why now it is even 400? Where's the fiber, huh? Every single catfish cattle is always like that. Abah was confused." Bahar scratched her non-itchy temple.
"That's it, really, dibingungin. They're, right, pairs. Must be a breed, oruh, Abah," Ranti snorted.
"Eh, who said they couple, Ambu? Catfish are all males," chirped Bahar who managed to make Ranti gape instantly.
"Do you know where they all come from? Didn't you check one-on-one?" Ranti increasingly did not understand the way her husband's mind.
Bahar snorted while blasting her lips. "Ngapain checked one-on-one, atuh. From his whiskers Abah already knows, if the catfish is all male. Ambu lives abah! Abah's a mustache, too, right? Abah, right, man."
"Astaghfirullah, Abaaaaaah!" pekik Ranti's. He made Bahar cover his own ears.
"Ari Ambu, tea, kunaon? Shouting like a stressed person."
"Yes, long time ago Ambu can stress dreadin Abah talking."
"What did Abah say wrong, Ambu?" Both of Bahar's eyebrows are linked, signifying his confusion. His face looks innocent without sin.
"Yes, earlier. Male catfish are all because of their whiskers. Where did the theory come from? Dengerin, yes, Bah. If the sex of catfish predicted from the whiskers, long ago catfish perished from world civilization. Emang Abah has seen catfish that do not have a mustache, huh? Everything is there," said Ranti. He explained with explosive emotions.
"Yes, too. That means you're wrong, or, yeah?" Bahar chuckles showing a row of teeth that are still intact at his old age.
Randy did not answer. He simply opened his eyes while sighing harshly. Facing her husband must be a lot of patience.
A moment of silence to simply dampen the emotions that are sticking up. Ranti walked towards the saung which was near the pond, and was followed by Bahar.
"Eh, Mpa. How the Rein's development. Is he still avoiding our son?" Bahar asked after believing his wife was no longer angry.
"Say mah still, Bah. Rein is a strong-minded woman. Ambu is the same as Aska." Ranti said softly. Pitying his son who always looks sad.
"What if we make plans for one of them. Abah was sure that Rein was still in love with Aska."
Bahar immediately brought her lips closer to Ranti's ears, then whispered her plan there. Ranti looked at Bahar's face. For a moment of thought, until a fluffy smile was imprinted on his lips.
"Tumben Abah pinter" he said, pressing both of Bahar's cheeks with his palms. His face looks happy.
