Half of My Husband's life

Half of My Husband's life
Meet Ningrum

"Oh, man,... A. I'm just expressing our happiness." Andra looks nervous, but then grabs Hafizah's hand to get closer to Indri, sitting on the chair in her place.

A little confused, trying to convince him of what he had just heard. "Supposed Indri happy to hear the news of your pregnancy Dear. He used to want me to have a lover and get married." Andra hugged Hafizah's body from behind, stroking her still flat stomach lovingly. Not wanting his wife to think about his unintentional remarks.

Silent for a moment, staring at the unconscious Indri, only the pulse of a medical device sounded to represent the breath of the woman in her thirties. How pity.

"Mas, has Indri ever done anything that hurt anyone?" Hafizah held Indri's hand which felt bland but still felt a thin pulse of life.

"Whoever has done it." answered Andra as if thinking.

"Is that a big mistake?" asked Hafizah again looking up at Andra's face.

"Yes, causing someone's life to die by accident."

Looking again at the face that is still in the bandage, although not closed as early as a year ago he also saw the condition of Indri, some of his face has improved. Only his scar was still clearly visible.

A few minutes no one spoke.

"Mas Azzam." muttered Hafizah softly, he unintentionally uttered what he was thinking.

"Don't discuss Azzam for now."

Andra's hand that was hugging Hafizah's shoulder now loosened.

"Sorry." realizing that her husband was offended, or jealous, Hafizah had no idea. Andra obviously did not like the name Azzam mentioned, and it was very unusual.

"We're going home." Andra's like she's losing her happiness all of a sudden.

The car was traveling at a moderate speed, Andra seemed to focus on the crowded streets at six in the afternoon.

"Where are we going, man?" ask Hafizah.

"To the cottage dear, we will ask Ningrum to stay at home from tomorrow, you can't be alone." Andra grabbed Hafizah's hand and grabbed it.

"I'm not alone Mas, there's Aunty and Ara at home, as well as many housekeepers who always accompany me."

"Different if it was Ningrum, I'd be calmer."

"But you're tired Mas, let me contact Abi, also Ningrum by phone. No need to go to the cottage tonight."

"Will Abi allow it if only by phone?" Andra looked at his wife.

"Of course, or Mas could contact Abi directly."

Andra slowed down the car. "I find it impolite to call Abi over the phone."

"Abi's not like that, don't be too concerned with your own father-in-law, this is for me anyway."

Andra smiled, looking at the woman who always calmed her heart.

"Yes, we're home."

Two lonely days, waiting for Andra to come home was indeed very torturous for Hafizah who was pregnant young. Recalling the drama before leaving, the man seemed reluctant to leave. Even Hafizah deliberately lied that she was okay. His heart wanted to go wherever Andra was.

When the days are usually his cell phone just lying in the room or in the living room, different this time he held the flat object barely let go except when it was late at night Hany to wait for news from Andra.

"I'll be home later in the afternoon" Andra said via video call in the morning.

"Thank God, is it all over?" tanya Hafizah stared at the face on the screen of the phone.

"Honey already. I can't stand being here, I want to go home and hug you immediately." Andra looked at Hafizah's face with great longing. "I miss you so much." Andra continued.

Moreover, Andra's finger touched the screen as if he was rubbing Hafizah's face. His longing grew increasingly yelling wanting to immediately hug Andra.

"It turns out that being away from you is very torturing to me" said Andra again stroked the screen of his phone.

"I don't want to be left out anymore." sounded spoiled, and she wasn't seducing.

"I also don't want to, dear, really don't want to be away from my wife, and our children."

If it used to be just spoiled with Azzam, different this time he had to withstand a turbulent longing overwhelming to Andra. The second man in his heart really made a different mood. Not only did his attitude always surpass how Azzam treated him, but all the things that were on him made Hafizah feel afraid of losing, not wanting to be away from him even for a moment.

Down there, a handsome man just got out of his car, dressed neatly, with his hair tidy, a big smile and trying not to be nervous.

"I have to look confident." he murmured in a breath and threw it away. "After all, she was a child, I should have easily conquered her heart."

He stepped in.

"Assalamualaik."

Right at the arrival of Mingho, the little girl with a height of no more than 160 cm was sitting on the living room sofa accompanying Ara to play.

"Wa'alaikum greetings." she replied in a delicate voice, glimpsing her round eyes looking at Mingho who was standing in the doorway, then standing as if to let the man in front of her enter immediately.

A faint smile formed from Mingho's lips, his eyes still staring at the usually cruel face, now looking more amicable.

"Mas Andra is not at home" Ningrum said again in a stern tone, or indeed so the tone of his speech.

"I'd like to see Fiza, there's a file that Andra has to sign, but Fiza can too." Mingho explained, the two hands of the man were indeed holding the file.

"Sit down, I'll call Brother."

"No need, I just sent a message that I'm already in this house." prevent Mingho not want to lose his chance even if just stealing a glance.

"When's Dad coming home?" hearing Andra's name, Ara suddenly asked Ningrum.

"Next night your father has come home" Mingho replied to Ara.

"Thank God." said Ningrum without turning to the person who spoke.

"Yes, maybe next I should also come, bring Indri to Singapore."

Ningrum turned to the man who was sitting at a distance with the two sofas.

"Actually, what makes Kak Indri crash so bad?" ask Indri to Mingho.

A little surprised, the girl was willing to talk to him. Is this really the opportunity God gave her? Mingho should not lose the chance to approach Ningrum.

"Accident." Mingho replied briefly.

"When?" asked Ningrum again so curious.

"16 months? "Is it a single accident?" ningrum asked again not to be curious.

"No, there were other victims who were also dragged and banged far away."

"Then? Is he safe?"

So happy to be invited to speak by Ningrum, Mingho immediately replied as it was. "He died."

"Innalilahi." muttered Ningrum while closing his mouth, until his words became more and more inaudible.
