Glass Flakes
Psychiatrist

The next day, with a little coercion, Dinda finally wanted to be taken to see a psychiatrist. Accompanied by his parents, Dinda sat in front of Dita's doctor. Psychiatrist who already knew Dinda was also throwing some jokes to make Dinda more relaxed.

Dita doctor filled the meeting this time with more relaxed so that Dinda also lived it comfortably. If previously he had asked more about the incident that caused trauma to Dinda, this time he only asked about Dinda's lectures and other activities.

Dinda was happy to tell every activity she lived and also the development she experienced. Including his dinner which was also attended by Dimas. Several times there were compliments from the beautiful doctor every time he told about the progress he had experienced. He hopes that by doing so he will soon be separated from all the treatments he undergoes.

Until finally Dita's doctor asked what was the essence of his meeting this time.

"According to Dinda, what makes Dinda always feel scared, anxious even panicked when she sees Dimas?"

Dinda was silent at the question she thought was ridiculous.

What kind of question is that? Didn't the doctor know? Why do it again.

"Dinda can socialize again, right? He was even able to get acquainted with a man who even Dinda initially felt afraid of him. Aye right?" Ask Dita's doctor again.

"Yes" answered Dinda briefly.

"What did Dinda think of until she was ready to meet him?"

"Because he's good" replied Dinda.

"okay? Where does Dinda know? New acquaintance".

Dinda seemed to be thinking of answering the doctor's question.

"Want to know why?" asked the doctor looking intensely at Dinda's eyes.

And Dinda who was stared at was just silent waiting for the next sentence.

"That's because Dinda's mind is too focused on past events".

"Doctor mean?"

"In the past incident, Dinda's brain recorded a visual of Dimas as the perpetrator. The one who hurt Dinda. That's why Dinda always felt scared when she saw him. While Dinda's new friend had no share at all of the incident. So that Dinda could easily accept it".

Dinda still quietly listened to the doctor's explanation.

"Then how can Dinda overcome her trauma to Dimas Dock?" sela Atikah is impatient.

"That could have happened if there was a will from Dindanya herself ma'am".

"You mean doctor?" Ms. Atikah.

"Dinda want to heal from this trauma?" The doctor turned his eyes towards Dinda.

Dinda nodded lethargicly.

"During this time the medicine I gave you wasn't taken?".

"No".

"Why?"

"No like".

"Dinda wants me to give you a hand to heal".

Dinda nodded again.

"Dinda" Dinda looked at the doctor. "Will you try to forgive?"

"Who?" Ask Dinda.

"Dimas"

Dinda scrunched up her forehead not understanding. Forgive Dimas? Well, he had heard an apology from Dimas many times as he pretended to faint. Even every meeting with the man always shows a beautiful face. But Dinda had not thought of forgiving him. Not because I didn't want to, but because I never thought about apologizing to the man. Which means he has to forget about the incident.

"The most important thing you have to do is accept the incident. Try to come to terms with the situation by accepting the incident as part of God's plan for you". The doctor began to explain. "And try to forgive Dimas. I know you're angry, you hate him for hurting you. But take it upon yourself to forgive him. It's hard, but that way you can overcome your fear of him".

Accepting and forgiving. Well, those are the two words that Dinda caught from her meeting with Dita's doctor a few hours ago. From just two words that seemed to be dancing in his head.

Accepting? Well, maybe he could accept that. Dinda is not an unbeliever either. He believes that everything that happens already has something to regulate him. Although in fact he has not fully accepted the bad events that happened to him. But at least he will try to be completely at peace with his situation.

But forgiving? Ahhhh, can it be that easy?

A week after her visit to a psychiatrist, Dinda decided to completely stop her treatment. He said he had obtained provisions to overcome his trauma independently. Both her parents and her in-laws could no longer force her. After all, Dinda has indeed shown a lot of progress with her own efforts.

That afternoon Dinda and her two best friends who are none other than Maya and Talita are spending time in a cafe. They ordered some drinks and food to accompany the conversation.

"Or where did Lit come from?" Tanya Dinda noticed the cozy-looking atmosphere of the cafe.

"From temen I'm brother. How's it? Is it the place?" Talita looked around. "Say the owner is also handsome" continued Talita half whispered.

"Son't Lita ever seen?" Maya Sahut.

"Yet. Hehehe,," Lita smiled awkwardly.

"Haiyyaaahhh," said Dinda and Maya together.

"Ohh yeah, what's your birthday? So ngundang your friends?" Timpal Dinda's.

"So dong. Not much, just a few friends including you May. Dateng ya" Lita replied staring at Maya.

"I was invited too, brother? Well, yes, thank you. Surely come, when else to senior birthday party"

"Where is Lit?" Ask Dinda.

"here. Tonight's next week"

"Lhooo, this is Sunday night. Your birthday is Saturday night".

"Yes, on Saturday night we had family dinner. Trus night of the same week. After that, later it will rarely mengkampus because of my KKN activities. So rich and kangen so".

Family dinner again? Then there's him later too. Okay, Dinda get ready! If you pass out late, this time you have to pass without fainting. I can!!!
