Glass Flakes

Glass Flakes
Mom's Request

Talita was playing her phone when someone knocked on her car glass.

Tok,,, tok,, tok

Talita rolled down the glass to look at someone who was already standing next to her car.

"Andra!" Pekik Lita was so looking at the figure that greeted her. He rushes out of his car to meet the man called Andra.

"Haiii is beautiful" said Andra hugged Lita who was in front of him.

"Haiiisss,, what the hell lo. What do I see my guy?" Hardik Lita releases Andra's embrace.

"I've just stayed behind to do it"

"Damn lo. I am beautiful you know? You're the blind one" cocky Lita.

"Yes, yes, believe me" Andra said to his chin.

"Eh, where did you come from? New client".

"Gue take leave Lit. Wh why? Kangen huh?"

"Hadeeehhhh" Pantyhose Lita rolled her eyeballs.

From where she stood, Lita saw Dinda waving her hand to Maya. Maya walks out of the campus while Dinda heads towards her.

Arriving at Lita's car, Dinda passed by and got into the car regardless of Lita talking to Andra. Andra looked at the girl she had just seen.

"Who's Lit?" ask Andra to Lita. His eyes could not be separated from the girl who was now sitting in the car playing her phone.

"My brother. Yes, pull first" replied Lita about to open the car door.

"Eehh, wait a minute" Andra's sergeant held Lita's arm. "When did you have a sister? Where's her young clique again. Lying to you?" Ask Andra to investigate.

"Damn lo. I am still young!" Lita's murmur releases Andra's grip.

"Hehehe, yes, sorry. Uh, know dong" Andra's sulking plays his eyebrows up and down.

"Ogahhh, ah, ah. Yay!!!" Lita entered her car and she immediately drove her car outside the campus area. Leaving the still curious Andra where he stood.

That night, Dinda was making a video call with her mother when someone knocked on her bedroom door. He ended his call and opened the door to his room.

"What's Lit?" he said as soon as he saw Lita standing at the door of his room.

"Sir Dinda is called mama tuh"

"Ooohh, come on" Dinda shut the door and walked with Lita down the stairs.

Arriving at the family room, there was already Ambar's mother and Lukman's sir waiting for him while watching TV.

"Not sleeping, is it Din?" mama asked as she saw Dinda approaching.

"Yet ma. Just had a phone call with mom" answered Dinda sitting herself beside her in-laws.

"Din, mommy wants to talk to you"

"What's the matter ma?"

"Oh yeah? How many ma?" sahut Dinda enthusiastic.

"32 Years of Din"

"Waaah, congratulations ma, pa. May last, happy continue until grandparents" said Dinda sincere.

"Emang Papa should have been Din's grandfather" said Lukman who made Dinda smile awkwardly.

"Ciiieeehh,, papa ngarep" lita teases her papa.

"Hush, what the hell" hardik mama who knows the awkwardness of her daughter-in-law. "Mama really wants to make money simply Din. Can you not?"

"I mean mama?"

"Mama wants us to have a meal together" Mama stopped her speech noticing Dinda's expression.

Dinda who felt everyone was watching her also looked at Lita confused.

"You mean, Brother Dinda, would you like it if Brother Dimas was invited as well?"

Deg

Dinda's heart raced when she realized she had to meet Dimas

Aahhh, I haven't even really met him yet, why does this feel like this. But should I refuse it?

"Dinda have to come?" said Dinda after being able to master her shock. He hid his hands that began to shake behind the sofa cushion that was on his lap.

"Why son? Is it still so hard for you to meet Dimas?" ask mama carefully.

"Din, how long are you going to be like this? Papa knows it's hard for you, but don't you want to try it? It's not that your psychiatrist says to be able to heal from your trauma, you have to deal with it. Not even avoiding it. It's been a year Din, do you want to keep going like this? Try it this time. You don't know the outcome, do you?"

Dinda seemed to think about her father-in-law's words. It's true that Dinda just avoided Dimas. And it keeps repeating every time they meet. Maybe that's what caused his fear of Dimas never disappeared. Because he himself never dared to face it.

"Alright ma, Dinda wants" he said suddenly.

"Really Din? Thanks to you, baby. May this be a good start for your recovery" Mama Ambar also hugged Dinda so happy, accompanied by a haru gaze from Lukman and Lita.

Smile continues to expand on the lips of Ambar's mother. How happy the middle-aged woman was to hear the answer from her daughter-in-law. He could not wait to see his son and daughter-in-law together like other couples.

"Dinda to the room first ya ma" said Dinda after mama let go of her embrace.

"Yes dear"

Dinda got up from her seat and walked up to the stairs that were the link to her room.

Dinda is now in her room with Lita who is watching her favorite drama. He's planning on sleeping in Dinda's room tonight.

Since his arrival to the Sanjaya family home, Dinda has always had the comfort of the family. The attitude of Mr. Lukman and mama who always treated him like his own child made him feel at home in that house. Lita was no less warm than her parents. His age of two years older did not prevent him from getting close to his sister-in-law. In fact, you could say Dinda is even more mature in attitude than Talita.

"Lit, can I get something?"

"What?"

"What are you doing anyway?"
