Mona fell backwards hearing the reaction from Miki. He held his chest that continued to beat erratically out of fear.
"Ma maf Sir, if my request is too blunt. Especially if we just met. Sir, I came here to work at a restaurant. I am a foundation in Indonesia. However, after arriving here, I was instead made a maid. My maid turned out to be a psychopath. I can't stand living there. Then I met the Indonesians too. I shared a lot with that guy. He suggested going to the embassy. However, after much talk about my departure, my passport and visa turned out to be illegal. Illegitimate. So sir, how should I. I want to go back to Indonesia. I want to work in my own city even though the salary is small" Mona said with sadness. Lika the twists he experienced in the land of people must be very difficult.
Miki listened to Mona's story carefully. He was very happy to hear Mona's statement.
"I'm sad to hear your story that's either true or not. But I can't guarantee that I can help you. Passports can only be made in our own country. That's what's bugging ...."
"Please Sir. I beg you very much. Whatever the cost, cut my salary later" Mona said.
"Cih, just working hasn't said pay cut. I'm not sure if you mean it,"
"I speak as I am, sir. I'm not lying. In India, I am a poor man. Don't have anything,"
"You don't have anything, what about your fare to go here? It costs not a little,"
"My parents owe me a bank. And I promise that when I get to work here, I will change the money. But, the fate of apes just came, "Mona replied lethargicly.
Miki continued to watch Mona's face. He could not believe the woman in front of him.
"When you make a passport and go back to Indonesia, what about your bank debt? How did you send money to your parents?" miki asked, folding her hands on her chest.
"Yes, I'm waiting for the debt to be paid off first, sir."
"How much do you owe?"
"Do you, sir, intend to help pay?"
"DON'T DREAM! I'm back there. The food you cook will be enough for dinner. You come back tomorrow and bring the cover letter." Miki averted her eyes, staring at her laptop screen back.
Mona snorted in annoyance. Just now he was hoping that Miki would help him. But it turned out he failed.
Mona then stood up with the pain in her lutu. He walked carefully. Miki realizes something is wrong with Mona's leg.
Mona put on her jacket and took her sling bag. He would go home with the stomach holding the hunger because Miki did not offer him any food at all.
"Wait!" exclaiming Miki.
Mona turned to look at Miki with an annoyed look. Miki sighed then walked over to Mona.
"Did your leg hurt?" miki asked while looking at Mona's right leg which was standing unequivocally.
"Ah, it's okay Sir. Just a little pain."
"Good indeed. By the way, tomorrow you stay here. Bring all your precious things."
"A a what's the max, sa sa sa I live here?" ask Mona stammered.
"24 hours? Meanin?"
"No meaning whatsoever. Just work as an assistant,"
"I don't have to serve you, do I, sir?"
"What are you talking about! You think you're my wife. I'm kind enough to help you. You don't misrepresent. All I need is a maid. You understand!"
"Yes, Sir. I say goodbye first. Emm, I think you already have a mooring of the heart" Mona said suddenly.
Miki scrunched her forehead. He then held Mona back when Mona opened the door.
"Wait on! Did you see all the sketches I drew!" ask Miki.
"Em, not everything. Just a sketch of a few men and one woman who are very beautiful and cute" Mona replied with a smile.
"Oh. Do you recognize the man in the sketch I drew?" ask Miki to ask.
"Emmm, in the sketch that hasn't been done, I seem familiar. Uh, seen it a few times. What was? Why did you draw their faces?" asked Mona innocently.
"Do you really know any of them?" miki asked seriously while holding Mona's arm firmly.
"I don't know. Just never look," replied Mona a little scared.
Miki let go of her grip. He was silent for a moment.
"Sorry sir, I think I should go home right now and prepare the documents for you. If there's nothing to ask, excuse me,"
"Mona, for if you really know the person I'm drawing, be careful. And do not reveal the truth that you see here to anyone. Even though he's your closest friend" Miki ordered firmly.
"Well, sir," Mona replied then immediately exited Miki's apartment.
Mona walked in quick footsteps. He looks so nervous. If observed carefully, Mona does seem to know one of the sketches of the picture. But he himself is not sure because the sketch is not optimal.
Miki returned to her work. He then takes the unresolved sketch and intends to pass it back on.
"After this picture is complete, Mona will be able to recognize it more easily. Damn, the intention of wanting to find an assistant, instead met with one of those black organizations. But, judging from her speech and innocence, Mona was not involved in the organization. Mona's a stupid, scared girl, how did she get into that organization. At the very least, Mona should be able to kill people if she wants to enter," Miki muttered thoughtfully.
"Well, why am I thinking about this unimportant thing. I'm sure she's a very nice girl" Miki said back.
To treat his longing, Miki sees some photos of Hana, which he took while on the mount praji. Miki could not remove the smiley strokes within her lips when she looked at the entire picture.
"Sweety heart's. I miss you so much. Do you miss me too? Too bad you're already my sister-in-law. But, will you marry your sister-in-law, Hana?" muttered Miki while stroking Hana's photo.
