It was late at night, but Rendy hadn't come to pick me up yet. Lisa has been trying to reach her husband, but his cell phone number is off.

"Thank God, I'm good too." the man didn't stop staring at Lisa. " Do you want to go home?" continued Dion.

"Yes, sir," said Lisa.

"Come on, I'm interrupting," bargained Dion.

"No need, sir. I'm waiting for a taxi" Lisa refused.

Lisa was a little uncomfortable with Dion's presence, because Dion's gaze seemed not to be separated from him. Lisa wishes there was an empty taxi pass, she wants to get out of this situation immediately.

"Lis, now you're different" Dion said. "I used to freely be together and even have casual conversations with you, but now it's like we have a high fortress."

Lisa sighed then said, "It used to be possible that I could casually talk to Mr. Dion, because my status is still not tied to marriage with anyone" Lisa said.

"Yes, I admit. I was late, why did I not propose to you at that time. Maybe now you've become my legal wife instead of Mr. Rendy" he admitted.

Lisa herself did not expect, if god's destiny led her to be with her husband. Rendy is very different from him, not only in terms of age but also their social status like employers and servants.

"Then, please leave and continue your journey. Lisa I've already picked it up!" firmly Rendy.

"alright, Sir. Excuse me then," said Dion. "oh yes, sir, I hope Lisa is always happy with you, otherwise don't blame me for taking Lisa away from you."

Dion turned his body around and got in the car and left immediately. Rendy's heart was furious with Dion's words just now. Does Dion doubt the happiness Rendy gave Lisa? this is too much for Rendy.

Arriving inside the room, Rendy just silently looked out of the window. His mind was confused especially after hearing Dion's words earlier.

"Mas." the woman ventured into hugging her husband's back. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean anything else. At that time I was waiting for a taxi, because I thought Mas didn't pick me up" Lisa said.

Rendy's anger subsided a little with his wife's warm embrace, somehow she always couldn't resist the warmth Lisa gave her.

"I'm sorry, I'm not mad at you. It's just that I don't like that guy coming at you all the time, when he obviously knows you're my wife!" pissed Rendy.

Lisa smiled as she said, "Dad, I promised that I'd take care of myself from the guy out there."

Rendy took off his wife's embrace, then turned to face Lisa. He was grateful to have a wife who could keep his honor.

"I believe in you. I hope you keep being honest like this, baby." the man hugged Lisa tightly.

"I love you" said Rendy, "don't leave me."

Lisa smiled, she was grateful to have a husband who loved her so much. Lisa said, "I love you too, Mom."
