The happy news about Zahra and Adri began to unfold outside. Lisa, Rendy, Dira, and Dika were delighted to hear this. Not with Adnan.

 

Adnan began to get annoyed at his Uncle's slow attitude. If he knew it would be like this. Of course, he would ask his parents to ask Zahra for him.

“Uncle, I am disappointed in you,” muttered Adnan.

 

Meanwhile in the city ‘Y’ Egi and Rey just checked out from the hotel. Rey keeps her promise to Egi. One day after he left home, Rey returned to accompany Egi to work out of town.

Today is the time to go home together. Since Rey said about Zahra's news. Egi cannot be focused.

During the trip Egi locked his mouth. Rey Pokus was driving beside her. Rey occasionally glances at Egi. Explain what makes this young man not excited. 

After a very exhausting journey. Rendy and Lisa were greeted with smiles. He said hello when he set foot at home. “Assalamualaikum.”

“Waalaikumsalam,” welcome Lisa and Rendy together.

 

Egi dragged a step closer to the two, kissed the palms of Rendy and Lisa, then said, “Sorry, I'm a little late. The streets were crowded.”

“That's nothing, Deck. You better rest first. After Isya prayer, we have dinner together,” Lisa said.

Egi carved out a smile, then carried his feet towards the room he so longed for. All he needs now is rest. Calm the heart and mind that are not synchronous.

 

From the front of the room, Adnan noticed Egi who had just arrived. He was eager to answer questions to his uncle. However, Egi's tired face undoes Adnan's intentions.

 

“Uncle seems exhausted,” thought Adnan back into the room.

The Isya prayer time arrived. As usual, everyone gathered at the mosque. Egi who just arrived half an hour ago was seen joining.

For Egi, prayer is not just a matter of obligation. Rather, it is like a need which must be met.

 

Prayer completed. All disbanded, except Adnan and Egi. Adnan patted his uncle's shoulder softly as he said, “Uncle, I have something to say. After dinner, Uncle has time?”

 

“Good.”

 

Adnan got up from his seat, then rushed downstairs to dinner. However, Egi was still reluctant to leave the holy place.

Felt enough, Egi followed everything downstairs. Worms in the stomach continue to protest making Egi almost crazy, because of their actions.

As usual, everyone ate quietly. They are silent and give thanks for the baroque sustenance today.

 

Rendy looks finished first. He put a spoon, and fork on a dirty empty plate. Not to forget he thanked Lisa, the wife who always made delicious food every day.

 

“I go to the room first, yes, Darling.” Rendy peeked briefly at Lisa's forehead, making the owner blush in shame.

 

Adnan and Egi who already knew the character of Rendy just smiled happily. They want to be like that, if one day they get married.

 

Finish eating, as promised. Now, Adnan and Egi are relaxing on the terrace of the house. Sitting looking at the starry night sky, accompanied by the light of the moon that cools the heart.

The cold night wind was bone-chilling. However, it did not make both of them tremble. They're still silent. A hopeless situation that is hard to express.

 

Adnan inhales the cool air of the night, then exhales it slowly through the nose. Adnan said, “Uncle already know ‘kan, if Zahra received the man's proposal?”

 

 

“What Uncle does not regret taking Zahra off just like that?”

 

“Give me one reason, why should Uncle regret?”

 

“She is a kind, cheerful woman, and most importantly her heart is sincere to Uncle, but Uncle is like a chunk of ice that is difficult to melt.”

Egi turned his head towards Adnan, looking at him deeply. “Do you still love her?”

“I do love, even love her very much. However, I cannot force him to love me too, Uncle.”

Egi stood up, stretching his stiff muscles after a long enough trip. “Uncle tired want to rest. You should also sleep.”

 

Egi stepped in, but Adnan prevented it as he said, “I know Uncle's heart is worried right now. It may be that love is already there, but it is covered in something that I do not know what it is. Follow your heart, Uncle. All living humans need a partner, to complement each other and share feelings.”

 

Egi was silent for a moment. Listen to what his nephew is saying.

 

“All back to Divine destiny. If Uncle and Zahra are a match, even if he is now far away. Do not rule out the possibility, we will unite in a holy and legitimate love.”

 

Without them noticing, behind the window curtain Rendy and Lisa were eavesdropping. They were indeed a little suspicious as the two walked together towards the terrace.

Suddenly one message came in to surprise Adnan. A number he just got from someone. Through this message, the sender asked for help.

Adnan snatched the car keys. He doesn't want anything to happen. Maybe the sender is in a state of fear right now. Evidently from the message he deliberately sent to Adnan. Whatever happens, Adnan has to get to him first.
