Florisa: Girl From the Night Sky

Florisa: Girl From the Night Sky
Episode 17 - Rare

White clouds were scattered under the bright pink sky. Under the cloudy sky, lay a brownish meadow. On a stretch of brownish grass, erect a large tree with leaves that are light purple. Florisa pensively observed the tree. Then he looked at the environment around him. The environment he used to meet in his native place.

“Am I back?” confused mumbling.

“Flo!” Someone called Florisa. His voice came from a distance.

Florisa automatically turned her direction facing the direction the sound was coming from. That was his mother. His mother called his name. It had been a long time since he had heard the call. A smile was engraved on his face.

Florisa ran towards her mother's standing position. Getting away from the young purple-leafed tree earlier.

Suddenly the ground shook. The longer the tighter. Florisa's legs can no longer support her body amid the shaking that occurs. Finally he fell, sitting on the ground.

The shaking then stopped. Florisa's mother is missing. Now in front of him was not the pink sky anymore, but the light blue sky. Not far away was a tree with thick green leaves. The leaves were rubbing against each other in the wind.  The tree was surrounded by fresh green grass.

Florisa can't believe what she's seeing right now. He looked behind him, where the purple tree was. The tree is still there. Then he looked up at the sky. The sky above his head was a pink sky. He turned his eyes back to the front. In front of him was a common sight on earth.

From behind the tree a girl appeared. He walked to Florisa. The girl was wearing a white dress that looked shabby. The wind from his front blew his long hair. His face is clear. He's Chitra.

Close-up. Getting close. Now the distance between Florisa and Chitra is getting shorter. Florisa could see Chitra's face that was displaying a smile on her. But Florisa was unable to return Chitra's smile. He only looked at Chitra who was standing in front of him with a look of disbelief.

Chitra just stood up with a smile that continued to expand. His steps had been halted before he reached the brown grassy ground. Florisa started to accept the situation. He got up from his sitting position. He was standing right in front of Chitra. Only one meter of distance separated them.

Florisa stepped foot towards Chitra. Step by step, he reached the border between the brown grassy ground and the green grassy ground. One more step he would step on the same ground as Chitra. One last step, Florisa came to the green grassy ground. Florisa can see Chitra's face more closely, like a mirror.

Chitra took a step to embrace Florisa.  He hugged Florisa tightly with tenderness. Florisa who was comfortable with a warm embrace from Chitra, returned the hug. They look like twins who have been separated for a long time.

But for some reason, Florisa felt tired all of a sudden. His heart was beating faster and faster. His eyelids were heavy and getting heavier. Florisa could no longer stand up. He could no longer maintain his consciousness. If not for being in Chitra's arms, Florisa might have collapsed to the ground.

“Chitra!” Someone called. His voice was loud and slightly trembling.

Then the voice called out Chitra's name. Florisa who was still in the dark after closing her eyes, started to hear the voice. Florisa initially heard it faintly. But over time it became clearer.

“Chitra!” For the umpteenth time Florisa heard Chitra's name called.

Florisa opened her eyes. The first thing he saw was the face of a young woman. The young lady looked initially anxious. But over time there was a feeling of relief on his face.

“I've tried to wake up Dek Chitra from earlier. I became anxious because Dek Chitra did not wake up even though I had wiggled his body,” said Ani so realized Florisa had woken up.

“What was that?” inner Florisa. He does not understand what he is going through.

“Ayo get ready. Chitra Deck is late.” Ani reminded Florisa who was still silent on top of her sleep. Then Ani left the white-painted room after putting the ready-made Chitra school clothes on the bed.

Florisa set her sights on a digital clock that sits sweetly on the study table overlooking the bed. The clock confirmed Ani's statement just now. Florisa's late for school today. Seeing that, Florisa only let out a long sigh.

As of this morning, Florisa's phone had not received a single call. Arzi did not keep his promise. Florisa's been lied to. But Florisa's mind has been diverted by her dream last night. He forgot about Arzi.

For humans dreams are something that is commonly experienced during sleep by anyone. But for neomus the dream was something rare. Only certain people or under certain conditions a neomus can dream in his sleep. Some people never dream in their entire life. Therefore, Florisa could not take her mind off the dream.

If humans often forget the contents of dreams that accompany their sleep some time after awakening, not for neomus. When they dream, the dream will continue to stick in the memory as if it really happened.

Florisa just kept thinking about it seriously to the point of ignoring the class filled by Bu Sofie. Playing the role of the best student, of course Florisa continues to be the attention of teachers when teaching. Bu Sofie realizes that Florisa is not focused on her class.

“It seems that there is too focused on fantasizing so that it ignores learning,” said out loud.

Florisa's mind is still focused on the dream thing she experienced last night. He ignored the innuendo with a loud voice from Bu Sofie.

“Chitra!” Bu Sofie called out Chitra's name with a thunderous voice that could be heard all the way to the next class.

This time Florisa realized the call. How not? Bu Sofie's voice really bothers the ears. In addition, Florisa was also thinking about Chitra who was in her dream.

Florisa turned her head towards the teacher who was standing elegantly in front of the white board. Bu Sofie's eyes looked at Florisa with a lighted look.

“It's too late, now you're ignoring my class. You think I'll treat you special just because you were hurt in school?”

I don't know why Miss Sofie's last sentence was so displeased with Florisa. But he did not show that displeasure on his face. He just agreed with Bu Sofie's words.

Like holding an old grudge, Ms. Sofie gave the punishment to Florisa. He was told to tidy up the storage warehouse of learning props and update the record of the number and condition of each prop on the first break.

“He only exaggerates the problem to get slaves for free,” protests Florisa in the middle of his journey to the warehouse. His footsteps were too heavy to do the job.

“Wait, where is that place?” murmured Florisa realized that he did not remember where the warehouse was in question.

Florisa wanted to use her flagship tool to figure out the direction of the destination. But he remembered, he would look strange when using the tool in the corridor while standing. Although the panel will not be visible to humans, the movement generated by Florisa when pressing and sliding the panel screen will look suspicious to humans. So he set his foot in the woman's toilet first. The safest place to do something no one else wants to know.
