Florisa: Girl From the Night Sky

Episode 1 - Welcome

This room is unusual. It makes no difference when opening or closing your eyes. It's really dark, there's no light. Some of the contents of this room were only seen after Florisa lit a ball of lightning from her right hand. The lightning ball that was able to provide this bit of illumination was a new skill he had learned. Look for a glass ball in this room. Luckily, the thing he was looking for didn't take long to find. Florisa pointed her two fingers at the glass ball and instantly the room became bright. If there is the right medium, the electrical power can produce light.

The sound of footsteps rhymed through this room. The move even left a trace on the floor that was originally full of dust. Not only the floor, the entire room was filled with dust. The presence of dust indicates that this room has long been abandoned.

 A pair of bright brown eyes belonging to the girl named Florisa is closely watching every corner of the room. He found that there were many machines here.  No one knows if the machine is still working or not. Florisa also did not know the uses and how to use them. Check one by one the machine. But nothing satisfactory was found there. In addition to the machine, there are also junk items scattered on the floor.

“What did he do with the machines and the junkyard?” florisa was upset. “What instructions can I get in a place like this?” Florisa continued to babble expressing her frustration doing a search in this basement.

He stopped when he received a call on his watch. He pressed a small button on the edge of the watch. Instantly a glowing hologram panel appeared before him. On the panel is written the name of the caller. “Senior El.” Florisa read the writing in front of her.

From the hologram panel appeared a screen that showed a man with long and thick eyebrows and a pointed nose. His eagle-like eyes stared intently and with seriousness. Florisa was silent for a moment. Then he quickly greeted the man.

“Good day, Commander. I was now in the basement of the old house that Vojiro had visited. I realized this place while doing a search in the kitchen. There is a small door on the floor, under the dining table, which leads to this room.” Florisa gave the report to the man.

The man he called the commander was Elmian, the commander of the AR30 special security forces. Elmian is known as a perfectionist handsome man. He will be angry if his subordinates make mistakes or do not work perfectly. Florisa did not want to arouse the wrath of Elmian. Therefore he hurriedly gave a report before the man spoke.

Elmian was silent for a few seconds after Florisa finished her sentence. Then say, “There's more that you found?”

It had been almost half an hour Florisa was in this ridge, but he did not find anything meaningful enough. Florisa was very embarrassed. “I'm sorry,” he said while looking down.

Elmian smiled faintly. “Bless your head!” his orders to Florisa. “Flo, I know you're reliable. Find the best leads you can there. But careful. If you find anything or anything, directly contact me.” It was soft that Elmian's words sounded in Florisa's ears.

Elmian looked a little anxious. I don't know what she's worried about. He doesn't know either. Clearly, there was a bad feeling he felt.

“Good, Commander,” reply Florisa nervously.

“Yes, I think enough. Please continue your work.” Then Elmian closed the call.

Florisa immediately sighed after disabling her hologram panel. He went back to check this room and looked for clues about Vojiro. Vojiro, who was named by Florisa, was a suspect in the explosion that killed seven residents two years ago. He went into hiding and fled when the case began to be investigated. The search for the fugitive is now the task of the AR30 special peace team commanded by Elmian.

Florisa's approaching one of the machines in this room. The waist-high machine had many buttons. Beside it are two milestones with a height of about 2.5 meters. Between the two milestones were left empty so that the milestone seemed to form a gate.

Feeling that nothing could be used as a clue from the machine, Florisa turned right to look at the other corner. When stepping her right foot, Florisa accidentally stepped on a glass bottle— which she called junk— that made her lose balance. His left foot tried to step back to restore balance, but to no avail. Florisa's gonna fall flat. Automatically, his right hand reached for the machine to hold on. Florisa accidentally pressed the buttons on the machine. Suddenly a black portal appeared between the two milestones standing to the left of the machine. Eventually, Florisa falls and enters into the portal.

“What feeling is this?” thought Florisa. Eyes closed. His body feels floating. His memory is like walking backwards.

Florisa's eyelids are open. His eyes detected a streak of white light from the sky. His eyes move left and right. He could see the sky that looked like black paper with white spots. Under that sky he could see dense leaves dancing in the wind. The wind gently hit his face. His back and the back of his head felt cold and wet. This place feels foreign. “Where is this?” thought. Long enough Florisa was in a supine position in the moist soil and studded with fallen leaves.

After gathering the consciousness and energy in her body, Florisa got up. He still had not stopped observing the surroundings. It feels foreign, but looks the same as the forest and jungle behind the hill Terom, near the home of his parents. The most distinguishing thing is that here even though the night, feels brighter than the nights in Terom.

“Shortly,” murmured. His right hand holds his chin. Eyebrows. Then he said, “I was in the basement before, and it was noon. Thought after all, this does not make sense.”

He paused for a moment, then said again, “And what is it?” while looking towards the sky, focusing his gaze on the white round object that glowed in the night sky.

Florisa doesn't understand. I don't know what's happening to him now. He was a neomus, the largest species inhabiting the planet Pafanor. The pafanor had a place similar to where it stands now, but in the heaven of the pafanor there had never been such a large, luminous white round object before. The ceiling has many stars that look like white dots in the night sky, and a natural satellite that is red with a size slightly larger than the stars around it.

Realizing she was in a foreign place, Florisa immediately grabbed her watch and activated the hologram panel. The panel featured a bluish-light screen. Florisa fiddled with the panel screen. He intended to scan the place he was resting on now. But the screen displayed a word that irritated Florisa. Tension enveloped him. The hologram panel that became the neomus' everyday tool could not provide the information Florisa needed. Error said. Either the device is damaged, or the place is difficult to identify.

Florisa suddenly remembered Elmian's words.

“...If you find anything or anything, directly contact me.” So did Elmian say to her. Florisa immediately tried to make a call to Elmian through the hologram panel.

Oh no, Elmian could not be reached. The message on the screen stated that the intended person was out of reach. Panic struck Florisa's mind after reading the message. It's disconcerting. This doesn't make any sense.

Florisa took a deep breath and released it slowly. Close the eyes with long eyelashes for a while. He tried to calm himself. He realized, panic will not solve the problem. He should calm down and think of a way out of this situation.

After calming down, Florisa refocused on her panel screen. Tinkering with it again. It intends to refresh and update its panel data. The device then performs a refresh and re-scan. However, it is not certain how long this process takes.

Florisa was silent for a long time. He tried to re-examine what happened to him. He's doing an investigation in the basement of Vojiro's old house. The room was initially dark, then Florisa poured electricity to the glass ball on the ceiling of the room to get lighting. In that room were many machines and junk. He accidentally stepped on one of the junk items scattered on the floor. His hand reached for the machine and accidentally pressed the buttons on it. He fell down and so opened his eyes he was in this place.

Florisa realized that her hand pressing the buttons on the machine might have activated something between the two milestones. Having fallen into that activated portal, he arrived at this place. However, how could the portal be active? The machine was abandoned long ago. What source of energy makes it function all of a sudden?

Florisa's watch is ringing. It looks like the data update process has been completed. Faster than expected. Directly activated the hologram panel. Then the blue-light screen displayed a message.
