Episode 11 - I'm Your Fan-I

Florisa walked towards the special fried rice kiosk. It seemed to be the stall with the least number of students queuing up. But when he was about to enter the ranks, someone stopped Florisa's steps. A 10th grader with eyebrows reminiscent of a seagull flying as the sun sets. He carried a wooden tray containing a plate of rice with spicy meat stir-fry, a piece of watermelon, and a bottle of water.

Florisa showed a facial expression that implied whose question was it? Understanding the meaning of Florisa's facial expression, the girl introduced herself.

“Sorry, Brother. I'm Meisya. Just call me May, sister,” she said shyly. “Big brother was cool once.” May praised Florisa.

“Ah, that's not cool. You can't imitate him. Brother was wrong to have shouted at senior earlier.” Florisa likes to be praised by May, but she realizes her actions were not entirely right.

“Senior Paulina is a bit rough indeed, Brother. I was also once dragged by them,” May said spoiled.

“Oh yes, I want to stir-fry spicy meat, right? This is for sister.” May offered the wooden tray she was carrying.

“Eh, this is yours. Sister can eat another kok.” Florisa refuses May's gift because she feels bad to trouble the girl.

“It's okay brother. Consider this a gift from me.” May returns to deliver her wooden tray to Florisa. “I will be queuing to get fried rice. We ate together, brother. Brother can wait there.” May pointed to one of the long tables that still had many empty seats.

Touched by May's treatment of her, Florisa carved a smile. Finally he wants to receive ‘gift’ from his junior.

“Thank you, May,”. “Kakak will wait there.”

May replied with a smile. Then he entered the line to queue for the special fried rice.

As per the agreement, Florisa stepped towards the long table that May had appointed. The distance is not too far from the special fried rice stall. On the way, Florisa sees Arzi smiling at her from a distance. The man walked towards her.

For some reason, Florisa always stiff when dealing with Arzi. Just like Elmian. Perhaps because of the resemblance of Arzi and Elmian, Florisa like seeing Elmian when meeting Arzi.

“You eat together?” Arzi invites Florisa to eat together once he arrives.

“Not you yourself asking to keep your distance?” florisa's trying to cue.

“It seems like this time it's okay,” replied Arzi with a smile. His eyes narrowed when he smiled. “You sit there, right?” Arzi pointed to the agreed seat of May and Florisa with his head. Then he walked to the seat.

“Wah, he is really strange like that person,” murmured Florisa accompanied by a step towards the place of agreement.

At the table where Florisa and Arzi were at first there were two 10th graders eating their lunch. But as Florisa and Arzi approached the table, the 10th graders moved in. So it was only Arzi and Florisa who filled the table that was able to fit 10 people to eat it.

Before long, May came with her food. The tray he was carrying almost fell down as he noticed Arzi's presence near Florisa. His steps were stopped when it only took 5 more steps to the seat he was targeting.

“May, here!” Florisa's call resuscitates May.

Seeing Florisa's hand signalling for her to approach, May continued her steps. She sits down with Arzi. Aside from being Arzi's senior to her, Arzi is a popular student at the school. With her attractive appearance and status as a member of the school band, Arzi became an idol among the students of this school. He even has his own club.

Unlike May, Arzi seemed relaxed. He even greeted May as soon as the girl sat down next to Florisa.

“Hai. You're Chitra's friend, huh?”

“Not, Senior. I'm fans. My name is May.”

May's answer sounded like a confession. The confession made Florisa surprised. Fan how? Why does Florisa suddenly have fans?

Arzi responded to that answer with a laugh. Sounds funny to him.

“Kak Chitra cool. Kak Chitra is already beautiful, but when dealing with 12th-grade sisters, Kak Chitra looks cooler. Chitra is also good. Chitra sister wants to eat with me.” May proudly praised Florisa.

Arzi was amused at hearing the compliment. But May's praise was able to make Florisa embarrassed. Although what May called Chitra's name, but Florisa felt the person referred to by May was herself.

“Do not exaggerate, May. That was not cool.” Florisa tries to calm May who is so obsessed with the incident. “Unless you remove the part I shout at them.” Florisa's laughing a little.

“Oh, looks like you are happy ya.” Somehow Arzi's words sounded unpleasant in Florisa's ears.

“What? You envy I have fans? You hot to hear others praising me in front of you?”

“I have long had many fans,” reply Arzi relaxed then put food into his mouth using a spoon.

“O, so that was your fan this morning? Suddenly interrogated me and left. Really annoying.”

“Then did you do them?”

“Are you worried about your fans?”

“Actually I'm more worried about you.”

Suddenly Florisa's body cooled to hear Arzi's reply. He can't reply anymore. If Arzi isn't like Elmian, maybe Florisa can reciprocate. But in fact, be it Arzi or Elmian, Florisa is always weak against him.

Meanwhile May watched the brief conversation between her two seniors with a smile. In his eyes, the two 11th graders looked cute together. Florisa who previously looked strong suddenly became weak in front of Arzi. They seem close. As far as he knows, Arzi is not too close to the girls at this school. Some say Arzi's attitude is so to keep the feelings of his fans. But what will fans think when they see this view? At least they're not just the two of them. May is with them.

“One loyal fan is better than a thousand fans who only exist when popularity is high.” May tries to mediate and warm the atmosphere back up. Although he was impressed to defend Florisa.

“Smart once you yes. Are you sure you will be loyal to him?” Arzi pointed at Florisa with his eyes.

“Em, it looks like it is,” May replied with a fluffy smile.

“Don't be too sure, May. Human heart is easy to change.” This time Florisa spoke with a fairly low tone of voice. He did not expect the statement he read in Chitra's book yesterday to be used today.
