The moon again showed its light after it had disappeared behind the dark black clouds. The light was bright, as if it was showing the state of Fazila who was in a rage. Yes, he felt scared. Ever since the Madam of God gave him the letter from Matthew, he just kept staring at the letter without daring to open it. It was nothing, he just did not want to read the letter without Rebal at his side.
"It's so late! Why hasn't the Governor come home yet? I can't sleep without his presence on my side!" Fazila lirih. He stared at the circular watch on his left wrist. The clock hand shows right at the number eleven.
"Will every Governor work this late?"
"Sometimes I'm jealous of couples who can walk hand in hand without being in the media spotlight. But, on appeal to that desire, I prefer to see Mr. Governor being honest, fair to everyone and working with dedication."
Without Fazila noticing, since then Rebal stood behind him and listened to all his complaints. Refal never expected that his Fazilas felt lonely without his presence.
Fazila who was currently sitting in a wheelchair while staring at the moonlight was very surprised when she realized that her burly hands were holding her from behind. He turned his head and found Rehal's tired face without a smile.
"Why? Is my beloved Governor feeling tired?"
"I'm sorry, I."
"I can't do anything for you. But, don't worry, I promise, once this body is back to normal, we'll do everything a couple would normally do." Fazila patted Refal on the arm, trying to tell him he was okay and there was nothing to worry about.
"I'm worried about myself, I'm afraid I can't make my Fazila happy. I'm sorry, I can't always be by your side. Should I end my term?" This time Refal asked while cupping his wife's pretty face. He hoped that Fazila would agree, this was the only way that they could be together for twenty-four hours.
"No!" Fazila said. She pinched her husband's nose.
"My chef looks good at work."
"Never think of getting out of this job."
"Some people work hard to get a job. Then, after getting a position, they are competing to enrich themselves without thinking about the fate of the small people.
I don't need to take a walk out Negri, or shop for items for hundreds of millions. I just want my Rehal to grow into an empathetic leader." Fazila said at length.
Hearing his wife's words, Refal could only nod slowly.
"I'll do everything my Fazila wants. I Love you." Refal smiled widely, he hugged Fazila while stroking his Fazilas head. Refal did not even care when Fazila's long hair looked messy, in the wind of the night later hit his face. Instead of being angry, Refal looked happy, and the fragrant scent emanating from Fazila's hair made him feel calm.
"Governor, have you received the letter left by Matthew's lousy son?" Refal began to unravel his question as soon as he let go of his embrace.
"Ck. Don't call him that. Now he's my friend." Bela Fazila while punching the chest of the Refal field slowly.
"Yes, I received the letter. The Lord and Madam God gave it to him last afternoon. They say goodbye, they'll be back in Bali tomorrow morning."
"Have I read this letter?" Refal handed the letter to Fazila.
"Why? Just read! I promise I won't be mad." Refal continued after seeing Fazila shake his head.
"Do I need to open it? Or am I just reading? But, if I were to read it, it would be impolite when I myself knew this letter was addressed to someone else."
"All right, I'll read it. But, on one condition." Fazila looked at Refal while cupping the handsome face with his wiggle fingers.
"Condition? What's the condition?"
"The terms are very simple, My refal must accompany me while reading this letter." Fazila answered with emphasis.
Refal nodded back. After receiving approval from Refal, Fazila began to open the green envelope that was currently in her grasp.
Assalamu'alaic...
Hay miss is perfect, I greet you in different circumstances. And when you read this letter, I may no longer be with you all.
My heart may stop beating, but your name is always beautifully preserved in my memory. You will always be in my heart, as the best God has ever created.
I wrote this letter with a big smile, I was happy, so happy that I could not express it with just words. Remembering you've always been the antidote to my grief. But now I don't feel sad or sick anymore.
Really, loving you is the best part I've ever done in my life. Meeting you was the most beautiful moment God laid out for me.
Meyda Noviana Fazila is tender hearted, thanks for everything. And my gratitude will be a witness that will weigh your scales of charity before our Lord, I will say out loud that you are the best example of women in the last days. May your story be inspiring, today and forever.
My regards to Governor Refal, tell him I'm sorry for loving his precious wife, but that was long before I knew you were married. If I think about it again, I really don't regret that feeling, because thanks to that feeling Hidayah came caressing gently the bottom of my heart. Maybe this is what is called love brings blessings.
And this is the end of my story, I'm sorry for everything. And I pray that you and the Governor will always be happy. From me who is charitable and someone who always expects good for you.
Matthew Adyamarta's.
Fazila sighed harshly after reading the letter Matthew left for her. He clasped Refal's hand while smiling meaningfully.
