More time goes on. Dalvin has never heard from his best friend, Rio, since the last night he had an accident.
He walked to the window of his room. Outside, people are busy preparing an engagement party between Duta and Amira. He was so sad and devastated.
Dalvin returned to his bed, leaning against the head of the bed while playing the phone.
"Where are you, Yo? Right now I need a friend to share..." He said as he continued to call Rio's number.
A few minutes later, his phone rang. He was excited to hope that the caller was the Rio who was waiting for.
"Unknown number... Is it possible for Rio to change his number?" Dalvin Mumbled. He immediately shifted the green button on his phone screen.
"Hello?"
"Hello... Is this right with Dalvin Fernando's brother?" Ask for a voice from across.
"Right, I'm Dalvin myself... Who is this with?"
"I, doctor Nino... Last time I also called you using Rio's phone..."
"Where is Rio now?" Dalvin asked impatiently.
"Brother Rio was dead the day after I called you..."
"What?" Dalvin. The news about his friend was shocking to him.
"I'm a doctor who takes care of patients until the end of his life. He left something for you... I hope you can pick him up soon. Being busy, I almost forgot his message..."
Dalvin was hit hard by the news about Rio. Rio is his best friend who he considers more than just a friend, even he thinks if it is better Rio who is his half-sister.
Now he feels like a kara. No one can understand him anymore. The place where he shared his grievances and poured out all his heart was gone forever.
Dalvin came out of his room and hurriedly passed many people who had started attending as an invitation to his brother's engagement party.
"Where are you going, Vin?" The Ambassador's voice did not stop Dalvin's hasty steps. He knows, there is no good intention of the Ambassador except just to heat up himself.
"Falvin..." His father began to raise his voice. "Where are you going?"
"Get out, Pa..." Dalvin replied sounding indifferent.
"Papa knows you are hurt and disappointed with your brother's engagement. But at least, stay home until the show's over..." Dean Pinta.
"He's not who I am, Pa... Papa is like anyone else, why did Papa even ask me to consider him a brother?" Ketus Dalvin doesn't care.
"Falvin..." Jerk Dean.
"Already, Pa... Even angry, Papa will only embarrass himself..." Dalvin said Seraya passed from there and ignored his papa's calls several times.
Dean's desperate. He still thinks that he is not a good father to his two children.
****
For a moment Dalvin was worried, and in the end he preferred to order a taxi online.
On the way to the hospital, he was unceasingly riled up. He still half-believed in the news he had just received about the death of his friend.
The taxi he was riding reached the hospital where Rio had been treated. He still remembered the address of the hospital, the hospital where he had gone back and forth to check himself after the accident.
In a hurry, Dalvin immediately headed to the doctor's office who called him earlier.
BRAAKK...
"Doctor Nino?" Dalvin is really not strong anymore to survive in his anxiety. He was impatient, to the point of slamming in without knocking on the door and excusing first.
Doctor Nino is inside. The doctor did not expect to be found like that by Dalvin.
"Y-yes? Can I help you?" Ask the doctor is like forgetting Dalvin.
"I'm Dalvin, Doc..." Dalvin said as he pulled up the chair in front of Nino's doctor and sat down without welcome.
"Dalvin's? Oh, mercy... Dalvin Fernando?" Ask doctor Nino just starting to remember.
Dalvin nodded quickly.
"It looks like the late Rio means so much to you..." Doctor Nino said as she opened her desk drawer. He took out an envelope from it.
"What does Rio actually hurt, Doc?" Dalvin's voice began to pedar. His heart began to feel pain.
"Advanced cancer..."
Dalvin. "Before he was always healthy, Doc..." Sissy speech.
"The back three months of the cancer spread so quickly and damaged his vital organs... That night he was rushed to the hospital after being found lying in the city park by some people who also happened to be there." Doctor Nino explained.
"Garden?" Dalvin's getting hit. He recalled his promise to Rio to meet there.
"Some time Rio was conscious, he was waiting for you, and even several times tried to call you back then. But..." Doctor Nino's words stopped. He handed the envelope he had taken out to Dalvin.
"What is this, Doc...?" Dalvin asked as he received the envelope with trembling hands.
"This is a message for you, he said... He made it clear to me that he very much wishes that you grant his last request in this letter..." Obviously the doctor.
