EVEN THOUGH MY WIFE IS BLIND

EVEN THOUGH MY WIFE IS BLIND
39. I Want to Know Everything

Dalvin fitted the seat belt to Soraya, his gaze temporarily stopping at the pretty face. He smiled, remembering that Soraya would soon be able to see again.

On the way home, Dalvin played the song that became the soundtrack in the film.

"Good song..." Soraya said so calmly when living the lyrics for the sake of the lyrics.

"Later to download on your phone. If you're so excited, you can listen to this song..." Dalvin said while holding Soraya's fingers.

Soraya flinched, then nervously nodded her head.

Dalvin started driving his car out of the basement.

"What do you want to eat?" Dalvin asked while watching the streets.

"Emmm... If you still have money, I'd like to have some restaurant-style seafood... I haven't tried that food in a long time..." Soraya replied looking awkward and feeling awkward.

"I'm sorry... I've never bought you that food, have I? Hmhhh... I'm too frugal..." Dalvin smiled bitterly. He felt guilty after knowing what his wife wanted.

"Eh? Emm... Doesn't matter... I usually never want it either... But I don't know why, today I want to eat seafood... And that's if you don't mind... Sorry..." Soraya's face turned soft. He looked timid after expressing his wish at that time.

"Wrapped or do we eat in restaurants?"

"Eh? You really want to buy it for me?" Soraya asked became so happy.

"Yes, answer me before I change my mind..." Dalvin pretended to be annoyed.

"Wrap it... I want to eat at home... Double portion, yes..." Pinta Soraya while trying to hide the feeling of pleasure in her heart.

"Double?" Dalvin was stunned to hear Soraya's ambitious request. He was even more confused when he saw Soraya's nod so quickly.

Dalvin dizzy looking for restaurants along the way. He suddenly smiled when he saw a fancy restaurant on the left side. He parked his car in front of the restaurant.

"Hmmm... All right, you wait in the car for a second, yeah... I'll order it for you..." Dalvin orders him out of his car.

Soraya according. "Don't be long, yeah..."

"Yes... Finished ordered, I'll accompany you in the car." Dalvin replied as he stroked Soraya's head.

This was indeed different, but Soraya was flattered by it. She felt like Alana in the movie they were watching. Privileged by the couple, although not perfect in terms of physical or material.

Not long after Dalvin returned. He took Soraya's hand and placed it on his own thigh. "In a moment the waiter will deliver our order..."

"Thank you, Vin..." Soraya said with a smile.

"Other times if you want something, you have to tell me directly... I'm not a God who can know your heart..." Dalvin.

"Yes... All this time I didn't want anything... This time I just feel like..." Soraya felt guilty.

Moments later, Dalvin's order is ushered in by a restaurant waiter. He did not forget to give tips and smile thanks to the waiter.

"We're home... It seems you've been so eager to eat it..."

Soraya nodded enthusiastically. "Come on... I'm hungry..."

Dalvin gawks at Soraya who is so greedy eating Seafood. He did not expect that his wife liked restaurant-style food that was usually served to elite people.

"Eat it slowly, Sora..." Dalvin Tegur.

"Hmmmh..." Soraya grinned. "Enak... You didn't try it?"

"I'm full to see the way you eat... When in the village, do you like to eat seafood? There's a restaurant in your village, too?" Dalvin asked confusedly.

"Ohuk... uhuk..." Suddenly Soraya choked.

Soraya gulped down the white water in her hand. He was silent for a moment. "In my village there's a lot of seafood... But I just found out that shellfish, squid, shrimp and other seafood are called seafood like this... I tried this food once when I just got to town, and this time I wanted to eat it again... Hmmm, looks like a village, huh?"

"I'm sorry... I must have offended you... So, there's a sea in your village?" Dalvin asked feeling guilty.

Soraya nodded slowly. "There are mountains too..."

"After you can see again, we will visit your home village... You must miss your family's warmth so much, right? And also, introduce me to them..." Dalvin said at length.

Soraya. He stopped eating for a moment. "I will definitely introduce you to my family..."

Suddenly the mood became quiet. From his attitude, Soraya looked awkward.

"Why not continue eating? Just a little more..." Dalvin collected the seafood on Soraya's plate using the tablespoon he was holding.

"I feel like I'm full... Do you want to help spend?" Soraya asked as she shifted the plate containing the rest of her seafood towards Dalvin who was on her right side.

"Some a little more..." Grunts Dalvin while pulling the plate that has not been right in front of him, then eat some shells that are still left in the plate.

"I want to rest... I'm rarely out, occasionally going out makes me tired..." Soraya said as she stood carefully and walked towards her room.

Dalvin just looked at him in astonishment. "What's wrong with her?"

After eating, Dalvin immediately cleaned a messy dining table filled with shrimp skin and a pile of shells used to eat Soraya earlier.

"I think he's turned out to be weird... Is he sick?" Dalvin murmured anxiously. He quickly finished his work and then followed Soraya to the room.

"Sora, what's wrong?" Dalvin asked when he saw his wife leaning sadly at the head of the bed.

Soraya jerks. He looked nervous as Dalvin's steps sounded closer to him.

"What's wrong?" Soraya asked back.

"You look sad... Is your heart's longing unbearable for your family?" Dalvin asked feeling pity.

"Eh?"

"Patience a moment... Sony's doctor will call me as soon as he gets a donor for you..." Dalvin tried to calm Soraya down.

"Ma.mmm..." Soraya nodded. "But..."

"But what?"

"Emmm... What, is our marriage real?" Soraya's dilemma. It turns out that doubt is ruling her.

"Why ask? You think there's a mock wedding organized by the state?" Dalvin clasped Soraya's hand while staring at the empty beautiful bead before him.

"You don't know much about me... Rio-" Soraya stopped her speech.

"You haven't forgotten Rio?" Dalvin was carried away. Also the guilt towards his late best friend came back to haunt him.

"I'm so guilty... I even betrayed my own best friend like, every time I look at you, Sora..." Dalvin Kesah.

"No, Vin... You're not wrong, and you shouldn't feel guilty... Here, it's my dishonesty that makes me feel hard on my own... I'm afraid you're angry if I tell you the truth..." Soraya.

"Is there anything else I didn't know after yesterday I was surprised by Doctor Sony's explanation of you? Tell me now, Sora... I want to know everything... I don't want to regret my delay..." Urge Dalvin while shifting in front of Soraya.
