Thalia did not dare to move one bit. He clearly felt a cold object stuck to the back of his head. Mind fucked. Fear enveloped his entire body.
Getting threatened with her life bet made Thalia feel a terrible pressure. The tears that were no longer contained simply flowed. The sobs could not come out as if someone was strangling his neck tightly.
Fearful.
The snack in his hand fell, his grasp felt weak and trembled uncontrollably. As a girl who lived peacefully for 20 years, this was currently the highest point of fear, anxiety, uneasiness that Thalia had ever felt.
He is powerless. His body could only freeze unable to do anything. Her eyes were shaking out of focus, caught by Naya's blue iris.
Unlike Thalia, Naya was so calm.
The girl followed the man's instructions well. One by one, he put the money into the bag the man gave him. He did not think of any consequences he would have after doing this. Will he be fired? Does he have to compensate?
Naya doesn't care.
Now, Thalia's safety is paramount.
Amidst this heavy atmosphere, the open door featured an old man. No, rather, the man kicked the glass door to a crack. "Lord! Where's your salary this month, huh?! Don't think"
'DOR!'
"ARGHA!!"
Unable to finish his words, a bullet shot into his leg. He fell down and roared in pain. Blood started to wash over the floor making the old man even more panic.
Seeing that, Thalia felt dizzy. His inner pressure grew even greater when he thought of the possibility that he could have become that old man just a moment ago. Even worse, he would die instantly the moment a bullet entered his head.
In the midst of this gripping atmosphere, it seemed like only the gunman was irritated by the noise.
He scratched his temple with a gun then stepped closer to the old man. He crouched down to see that pale face more clearly. "You know the manners? This is a public area, don't yell here. Your voice really bothers my ears."
The old man was furious, he tried to get up and hit the gunman hard in the face. Not expecting that, his face was hit hard. His anger was so high that he mercilessly fired a shot at the old man.
On the other hand, Thalia saw all of those terrible happenings in plain sight. Thalia's mind gave a stern warning to him. The opportunity! He should run away immediately.
Run on!
Hiding out!
His brain gave the order, but his feet did not move.
Moving on!
Please, move!
Seeing the criminal go away from Thalia, Naya immediately pressed a button to contact the nearest police, then pulled Thalia's hand to immediately run towards the back door.
Unfortunately, the armed criminal realized it sooner. The man turned around, pointed a gun, aimed at the target, then finally pulled the trigger.
Thalia looked at it while Naya was too focused to get out.
Thalia's body suddenly moved on its own. Without a second thought, he ran faster to hug Naya's body, the hot metal target that darted away.
'DOR!'
"Thalia!"
Thalia could not feel her body. His sight began to feel blurred.
Not aware of the ambulance. Not aware of the police arrival. Not realizing that his body was beginning to be inundated by blood.
The last thing Thalia remembered was Naya hugging him. After that, his consciousness disappeared.
...****************...
Sunlight that breaks through the gaps of the curtains makes this room feel warmer. On the bed with a blend of beige and brown, a little girl fell asleep with a blanket covering her body from toe to chest. He looks agitated in his sleep.
Trying to wake up from sleep, Thalia was shocked. As he woke up, his body fell back on the bed. He did not think that his body felt weak without energy.
The little girl sighed. "What am I really?"
Thalia closed her mouth, surprised. Different sounds. His voice now sounded more like a child. His eyes swept through the surroundings, looking for the little boy who might be in this place and talking.
But, it seemed that it was impossible for someone to say the thing he was thinking. Thalia tried to speak again.
"Ekhem, hello?" hearing the sound of a small child coming out of her mouth made Thalia stunned.
He looked at his hand, his fingers, opened his palm, he thought of a crazy thing. "Did I move into a child's body?"
Not for a second, Thalia rejected the possibility. "Eii, where is possible. Fictional stories move into other people's bodies." He took a deep breath to clear his mind, feeling such fresh air enter his breathing. Like being in the mountains.
It was just that, as he took a breath, his chest felt a little tight. But he tried to ignore it and began to observe the ceiling of the room.
It felt farther, taller than his room.
Whose room is this?
How did he get to be in this place?
A few questions popped up in his mind. He began to guess the answer to the question in his heart.
Maybe he got drunk after eating so many instant cup noodles. Wait, does eating too much noodles cause drunkenness?
Seems not.
Thalia could not think of a possibility about her current situation. This girl is confused.
How could he who was eating instant cup noodles suddenly wake up in this spacious and luxurious place. The blanket feels soft and comfortable. It feels like he can sink into the gravity of the mattress and linger unwilling to move.
Finally one conclusion came to his mind, "His luck, I'm still dreaming."
It was the only thing that felt possible for this situation. Thalia began to think it was true even though it still felt awkward in her heart.
If this is a dream, everything feels so real to be said to be a dream.
Speaking of dreams, Thalia felt she had a nightmare last night.
What dream is that?
He remembered that he was having a bad thing there, only that Thalia could not remember what the dream was about.
Thalia tried to get out of bed, then leaned over. After making that small move, Thalia felt extremely exhausted. He took a breath many times with length, accompanied by a sense of tightness in his chest that was increasingly piling up.
"Okay, hufftt.so let's just think about the malem I'm doing."
"First, I nemenin Naya at the minimarket. Keep reading the short story while waiting for noodle mateng. That shitty short story made me sprain, so I ate noodles for ten cups. Go on,"
Thalia's breathing grew heavier, "Continue, I sprayed water on Naya's face. So I, run. Keep going..."
Suddenly a stinging pain was evident in Thalia's head. "Well! It hurts!"
Thalia pulled her hair tight, hoping the pain in her head disappeared. His breathing was hunting, tears were starting to pool, his head was completely in pain as if thousands of needles were piercing his head.
"It hurts!!"
The door opens showing a young boy running hastily towards Thalia, "Viona!"
The boy immediately clasped Thalia's hands together, trying to calm the little girl down so as not to hurt himself.
"Viona, relax. This is brother, brother is here."
