First Time

It was already the third day that Yuan Lu would visit Yukihira's restaurant frequently, and during that time he always got many interesting stories from her. Yuan Lu seemed to forget that it had been almost a week of not meeting and exchanging news with Xue He. On Xue He's side there were no complaints or requests to simply call saying long.

However, for today Yuan Lu had Xue He pick her up at the Yukihira restaurant but there was no answer. Yuan Lu just clucked then put his phone back into the bag.

"Not answered?" Yukihira laughed softly.

"He's busy, not like you idle!" the Yuan Lu Syndicate.

"Hey, where am I unemployed?" Yukihira stretched out her arms and turned to the right and then to the left, "my customers are many, I'm busy right?"

The corner of Yuan Lu's lips slightly rose, he was ready to cuss, "Where is anyone busy but sitting here and telling me things?"

Yukihira smiled and supported her chin, "My current busyness is to make my Lord Princess smile."

Yuan Lu chuckled with Yukihira. This man in front of him is really good at stringing sweet words.

Their conversation continued to linger until it was not felt that an hour had passed. A car is parked in front of Yukihira's restaurant. A well-dressed man walked over to Yuan Lu and Yukihira who looked cool in conversation. Yuan Lu's laughter that was so loose made the man speed up his footsteps.

“Yuan Lu,” call the man.

Yuan Lu and Yukihira turned their heads together, they saw Xue He standing with a face that looked so tired.

“Sister Xue He?” yuan Lu said, he got up from his chair and immediately hugged Xue He. He also introduced Xue He to Yukihira. But the expressions of the two men were very unfriendly even though they threw smiles at each other.

“It's done? Can we go home now?” ask Xue He.

Yuan Lu nodded and thanked Yukihira, as well as Xue He. Yukihira continued to watch Yuan Lu come out with Xue He until they had completely gone far out of the reach of his eyes.

A faint snort sounded, “Is he the type of man you like, A-Yuan?” Yukihira.

The car that Xue He was driving in suddenly stopped by the side of the road. That made Yuan Lu growl and complain about almost hitting the car window.

“Is it so happy to meet Yukihira?” the first sentence Xue He had thrown since they got into the car made Yuan Lu flinch.

“Are you not happy to be with me?”

“If you're that happy, why tell me to come pick you up? Wouldn't it be nice if she took you home?”

There was a heavy sigh from Xue He, "I'm tired. There is still a lot of work in the hospital. Then you asked me to pick you up who was alone with another man. Is that worth it to see?" cercan.

Yuan Lu felt a needle stab at his heart. He had never seen Xue He's cold face

it was like tonight, but the thing that hurt his heart the most was Xue's words just now.

Was Xue He sorry for picking him up? That was what Yuan Lu had in mind back then.

“I was taking care of some patients in the hospital until I handed my sister over to Alexa to take care of her who was still being treated. I took the time to pick you up because I realized we've been together a lot lately, but you? You're having fun outside with other men?” furious Xue He.

“I ...” Yuan Lu squeezed the strap of the bag he was wearing.

“Yuan Lu, I know you're angry because of my busy time in the hospital. I also know you're upset about Alexa's case being close to my family, but can you understand a little about my situation?” furious Xue He.

Yuan Lu just lowered his head, never had he seen anything else to hear Xue He get angry to this point, but this time he actually saw it. It wasn't until it screamed, but every sentence that came out of Xue He's mouth was like a dagger that slashed his heart.

“Thank you for taking the time to pick me up, Brother,” Yuan Lu said before exiting the car.

In the car, Xue could only sigh while lightly kneeling her dizzy forehead.
