“A plane accident that occurred in the forest Shiratani Unsuikyo caused five victims to wander and 20 other victims in critical condition. Other pilots and flight attendants also experienced the same conditions as the passengers.” A news that Xue He had heard for these four days.

Xue He turned off the television he had just watched. He reached for the phone in his pocket to contact Yuan Lu, but the number he had been dialing had been inactive for four days. He was too saturated from not getting any news from Yuan Lu these few days.

A feeling of anxiety struck his heart until he could not concentrate on handling some patients. This led him to ask Alexa to replace him some time to take care of the patient and his sister. That day his mind was very unsettled as it was filled with Yuan Lu's face.

The more he held back his feelings, the more his heart grew troubled. He deeply disliked the uneasiness that continued to haunt his mind and heart.

“What's up? You don't look like you're always calm, there's a problem?” alexa asked, she was astonished to see Xue restless since yesterday.

“It's been four days I couldn't reach him. Whereas a week ago I was still able to contact him.” His face looks so lethargic. It's a sight Alexa doesn't like.

Seeing Xue He like losing half his life made Alexa not bear. He advised Xue He to meet Yuan Lu and ask him out on a date to make up for some time lost due to his busy time in the hospital.

Xue He's face back then looked a little bright upon hearing the advice from Alexa. The words of his friend have a point. He immediately got up from the chair and rushed off to the apartment where Yuan Lu was staying.

When Xue He was about to open the door his hand was held back by Alexa. The girl suddenly hugged Xue He and said softly, “Sorry for stealing your first kiss.”

Xue He's body suddenly stiffened, he didn't show any expression. His heart was weakened, not knowing how to behave. His mind was indeed fixed on Yuan Lu, but in front of him was a woman who turned out to love him since they were children.

Even so, Xue He still could not accept it. His heart only belonged to Yuan Lu, and there was only one of him. Both of his hands took off Alexa's embrace and left without looking back leaving Alexa still unmoved in place while staring at Xue He's back that was getting further away.

Yuan Lu's apartment door was locked tightly. Some residents in the vicinity said it had been more than a week that Yuan Lu had not returned to the apartment. Hearing that Xue He's heart grew even more agitated.

He checked his phone and opened Yuan Lu's message. A message that Yuan Lu had sent ten days ago that contained him asking Xue He to pick him up at a restaurant owned by Yukihira. But the unexpected happened while the two of them were on their way home.

He remembered the atmosphere that night, when his heart condition was not good and exhausted. He instead vented his frustration to Yuan Lu who was looking so happy because he had just met his old friend.

“Sial!” furious Xue He pulled his hair tightly. He cursed his own stupidity. Why be so angry when they're just friends. He could respond with a softer word.

In the moment his mind was muddled with regret, suddenly Rui's face flashed within his head. Right then and there he immediately rushed towards Rui's residence to inquire about Yuan Lu's state. Yes, for now Rui is the only hope of Xue He because his two best friends Zhu and Mei are in Beijing taking care of the development project.

Upon arriving at Rui's residence, he immediately looked for the man. Upon arrival, she is greeted by Rui. Just as he was about to enter the house with Rui, a sight he disliked suddenly stung his heart. He looked at Yukihira who was sitting with a very unfriendly expression. His eyes looked lifeless and full of confusion.

Xue He greeted Yukihira, but the man just glanced and ignored. He got up from his seat straight away.

"I have to go back to take care of something" Yukihira said.

"Come here when you're done." Rui asked Xue He's permission for a moment to escort Yukihira forward.

"Give me three days to finish it." After saying that, Yukihira immediately went to use the motorcycle he used to wear.

"What brings you to my house?" said Rui directly without stale bases.

"I couldn't see Yuan Lu in his apartment, his phone was off. A few days ago he also ignored all my calls and messages. So I thought he might be here."

"Sorry to disappoint, but he's not here." Rui's face looked expressionless at all. He leaned back his body and watched Xue He closely.

"You're his cousin, you know where he usually goes, right?" cecar Xue He's.

Rui's face was instantly sour, "Aren't you her lover? You should know more about her whereabouts, right?"

Xue He flinched. Rui's words were like a knife that struck the heart. He was indeed her lover, but there were many things she did not know about Yuan Lu.

"Go home, Xue He. Your face looks tired. Rest is something that is important for your mind to calm down." A suggestion more akin to expulsion, "if I get any news about Yuan Lu. I'm sure you'll tell me right away."

Xue He obeyed Rui's words. If here he did not find Yuan Lu, he could only wait and look for him in another, more certain way. He only needed to wait for a few days, if for that long he did not find it, he would ask others for help.
