DRUCLESS [AS PUBLISHED]
The Exchanging Desire

Three months later,

Trissya and Raefal live in Raefal's house. They do not do any activities. Raefal could not have left Trissya alone at home. The man always took Trissya with him everywhere. Trissya also did not want to be away from Raefal. She always went with her husband.

This morning, the couple seemed to be sleeping in a plain body covered.

Trissya felt a movement from beside her. She looked at her husband who was awake and looked at him. Trissya kissed Raefal's lips at a glance, "Good morning."

"I don't feel it" said Raefal staring at his wife's mischievous. The woman rolled her eyeballs while confirming the location of the blanket covering her innocent body. Raefal hugged the woman. He peed his wife's cheek long enough.

"Darling, have you felt the signs?" Ask Raefal. Trissya turned to Raefal with a full expression asking, "What signs?"

Raefal slipped his hand into Trissya's stomach, "Our baby?"

Trissya looks sad. He shook his head. Raefal placed his chin on the recess of Trissya's neck.

"We lack hard work" said Raefal innocently. Trissya seemed to think, "Lack of hard work how? We, right..."

"Why do we make it now?" Raefal cut off his wife's words. Trissya patted Raefal's cheek softly, "Emesum."

Raefal laughed, "Father, the important thing is that I'm just perverted with my wife."

Trissya smile.

Trissya's phone rang, making both of them turn towards the table. Trissya took the square object and saw Alma's name on the screen.

"Honey, Alma called me" said Trissya. Raefal moved his head, "Have a moment, dear."

Trissya picked up the call from her best friend, "Hello?"

"Hey, Trissya. I sent a letter in the mail yesterday. Have you not seen him?" Ask Alma from across the street.

Trissya looked thoughtful as she glanced at her husband. Raefal was listening to their conversation.

"Because I received a lot of packages and letters, but I haven't seen. I'm curious." Trissya got up and stepped up to take the hanging sleeping robe. Raefal.

"Ah, you. Buruan bukaa." Alma's voice sounded so impatient. Trissya smile. He turned to Raefal while giving a code of wanting to get out. Raefal got out of bed. He took a white towel and wrapped it around his waist.

Trissya passed down the stairs followed by Raefal.

"I want to write the letter again."

"Hehe, you must be surprised!"

Trissya is getting curious. The woman saw the letters she received a few days ago. Something distracted him, which was a letter wrapped in magenta-colored paper. The name of Salma Noer Annisa Rahmayadi as the sender.

Raefal and Trissya looked at each other. The woman opened it and found a thick, colored letter that matched her wrapper.

"Wedding invitation letter?!" Trissya exclaimed after reading the contents. The couple looked at each other.

"Hehe, are you surprised, kaaaan? Thank God I can follow you with Raefal in the same year."

"Well, congratulations, yeah." Trissya was happy for her best friend.

"Happy wedding day." Alma's voice sounded like she was holding back a laugh.

Trissya laughed. Raefal smiled as he took the invitation letter and saw Muhammad Haidar Ilham's name as the groom.

Raefal. He did not expect, Haidar who chattered more than the mothers could marry Alma, a calm and indifferent woman.

"You should come to me on my wedding day, yaaa. Though it's just a simple thanksgiving."

"We must have come, really." Trissya glanced at Raefal who nodded his head.

"Hehe, I'm sorry I interrupted your morning with your husband. I'm afraid you won't open the invitation letter. I'll be sad if my best friend doesn't come."

"Yes, gapapa, really. I'm awake, anyway." Trissya stuffed the letters into the box.

"Well, I'm going to work first, yeah."

Trissya put her face back, "Work? Should be the bride diem at home."

"Ah, the wedding day is still a long time, really."

"So, every day I see a future husband, dong." Trissya tries to tease Alma.

Alma laughed, "No, last week Haidar came home."

"Ciee, call him now I'm using a mas." Trissya chuckled small.

"Ah, Trissya."

Trissya held back her laughter.

"Well, I hung up, yeah."

"Yes." Yeah."

Trissya sighed softly, "Ah, just wait for the invitation letter from Chilla." His plain-sounding words invited Raefal's laughter.

Trissya turned, "Why?"

"Yes, your face is funny." Raefal patted Trissya's cheek then passed. The woman frowned then shook her head while smiling amusedly.

~

Trissya was sitting on the bench in front of the house. He enjoys the fresh air in the afternoon. The woman saw a couple walking while holding the hand of their toddler son. Trissya smiled unwillingly to distract her from the sweet family.

"Jump" said the father. The boy jumped up and down while holding tightly to the hands of his father and mother.

Trissya held her flat stomach, "When are you around? Mama's waiting for you, son. You don't pity to see Mama's constantly waiting?"

His voice sounded so slashing. Raefal, who was standing not far from the swing, was saddened to hear his wife's words. The man saw that the family was gone. He walked over to Trissya and sat down beside her. The woman looked. Raefal moved his body to make his swing move.

Trissya melted her head into Raefal's shoulder.

"When can we have children? I want to hurry to be Mama" asked Trissya. Raefal grabbed his wife's tiny body, "Patience, dear."

"I'm always patient."

Raefal nodded.

Meanwhile, in the drucless world.

The doctors were helping Qwella who was struggling to deliver her baby. Daeriel stood anxiously in front of the room door. Many times he heard Qwella scream.

One of the healers came out to Daeriel, "Her Majesty, the baby does not want to be born into the world."

"Ah? Why would that be?" Daeriel asked in panic. The healer looked scared, "I'm sorry, Your Honor. But, usually this happens if the mother does not want the presence of the baby."

Daeriel rubbed his own face roughly, "Then how should I go?"

The physician lowered his head in without daring to give an answer. In such a crucial moment, Geross with his students came.

"We have arrived, Your Majesty," said Geross.

"You take care of my wife's birth!" daeriel half-stomped. Geross gets nervous, "Sa-me?"

Daeriel seemed to think.

"We will try" Dharaa said. The few female healers who were with him nodded.

"You come in and take good care of my wife" Daeriel said. Dharaa and his friends enter the queen's room with the royal physician.

Daeriel looked worried. The man did not even want to sit down. She muttered, "Geross grandfather, is there no other way to give birth to my child?"

"Ah? Mu-maybe the queen should show a little desire for the presence of her baby." Geross looked nervous.

"That's the problem, Qwella never wanted the kid. He's very stubborn."

Qwella***scratched bed linen. Dhara calmed her down and tried to help, "Queen, you must want the birth of this baby. You must love your baby."

Qwella did not respond. He kept screaming.

Dharaa and the other healers looked at each other then they all shook their heads slowly.

"All right, all right, I want this baby! I beg! Get out of my body! I love you!" Shouted Qwella.

Daeriel and Geross could hear Qwella scream. They both look at each other. Qwella's voice disappeared. Daeriel looked worried. He pushed open the door and entered the room.

The sound of crying babies filled the room. Daeriel heaved a sigh of relief while holding his chest. He saw Qwella looking limp. The man approached Dharaa who was cleaning the baby.

"How are Qwella and my baby?" Ask Daeriel. Without turning his head, Dharaa replied, "They are fine, Your Majesty. The healers are taking holy water to restore the power of the queen mother."

Daeriel saw a drucless seal on the baby's neck. He recognized the complexion of the seal that was none other than his.

"Why is there a seal of mine on his neck?" Ask Daeriel anxiously. Dharaa nodded, "The drucless baby will have his father's seal, this is proof that this baby is your biological baby. This seal will be hidden until her husband's seal has taken possession of her body."

Daeriel understands. He can breathe a sigh of relief. Dharaa gave the sweet baby to Daeriel.

"Your baby is a girl, very beautiful like her mother" Dharaa said. Daeriel carried the tiny body.

"Daughter," muttered Daeriel who was smiling happily. The man looked at the beautiful face of the baby. Dharaa was right, the baby was very similar to Qwella.

Dharaa bowed then passed to help the healers wash Qwella's body with holy water. The queen's energy has recovered.

The royal physician approached Daeriel, "Your highness, the queen mother should breastfeed her baby."

Daeriel nodded while giving the baby to the healer. The physician approached Dharaa and gave a code so that he could speak to the queen mother. It seems that Dharaa was also confused as to what to say. The whole kingdom of Zeroun knew very well the habits of their queen.

"Emm, Queen Mother, your baby needs you" Dhara said carefully.

Qwella didn't even glance at the baby one bit. He turned his back to the healers. Daeriel snorted annoyed at his wife's selfish attitude.

"He's been troubling me, I don't want to!" Qwella grunts. Daeriel's on her waist, "Qwella! Just this once you have to act like a mother! Hurry on! Baby needs you!"

Qwella got up to sit down and touched her stomach, "I don't want to! I've suffered enough for it!"

Lightning strikes in the sky.

Qwella was shocked. Not only Qwella, the entire palace was shocked as well. They're frightened. Daeriel thought it was Raefal's lightning bolt. He saw a flash of lightning that split the sky.

Suddenly a strong wind entered through the window and turned off all the candles in the palace. Not only in the palace, the candles in the people's house were also extinguished.

The territory of Zeroun kingdom was pitch black within 3 seconds (drucless world count).

Daeriel moved his hand to light all the candles in the room with his firebending. She saw her baby who was emitting yellow eyes. Daeriel swallowed the saliva as he goosebumps looking at it. However, it was only a short while. Now the color of his eyes turned normal and the baby was crying loudly.

Dharaa took the baby from the doctor's lap. The woman changed her eye color to green. Daeriel noticed what Dharaa was doing. The woman rubbed the forehead of baby Qwella. The baby calmed down. Dharaa's eye color changes normally.

Qwella knitted her brows in annoyance with Dharaa's sassy demeanor. He snapped at the female healer, "How dare! Who do you think you are?!"

"Do it, or there will be havoc coming to this palace" Dharaa said half-bluffing. Daeriel shakes hearing that. He approached Qwella, "Don't argue, do it!"

Forcibly, the woman held the baby.

"You're all out, give my wife some time" Daeriel said. All the healers bowed and passed, except Dharaa.

"Your Majesty, I'm sorry I was presumptuous. But, I need to talk about this," Dharaa said.

~

In another room, Daeriel was sitting opposite Geross and Dharaa. They looked serious and tense.

No one intended to speak first, so silence came.

Geross tried to break the silence. He said, "Emm, Dharaa is a pretty good healer. He can tell anything he touches."

Daeriel glanced at Dharaa at a glance then let out a long sigh, "What happened to my baby? I'm really freaking out."

Dharaa lowered his head, "Before, I'm sorry if I spoke presumptuously. But, I speak according to reality."

"Tell me" said Daeriel, who did not want to hear Dharaa's pleasantries. Geross glanced at his disciple who kept his head down.

"You're not gonna chop off my head?" Dharaa asked in a panicked tone. Daeriel gave a cold snort, "I'm not my father."

Dharaa nodded then let out his voice, "When I touch your baby's forehead, I can confirm if the baby has wind power. That's why there was a wind that went in and turned off all the candles. Actually, your baby is angry at his mother."

Geross who heard it goosebumps while touching his own nape. Daeriel swallowed the saliva.

Dharaa continued his sentence, "Your baby has three powers. I don't know, what power he has other than controlling the wind. But, for sure, your baby has a great power that I've never found before."

"Then what did lightning mean?" Ask Daeriel.

Dharaa did not respond. He hesitated to say what he knew. Geross seems curious too.

"Say!" Snapped Daeriel while breaking the table.

Dharaa and Geross were stunned.

"That's. I. when I touch the body of the queen mother, I..."

Daeriel grabbed Dharaa's arm, "Don't make me mad."

"Your highness" murmured Geross. Daeriel releases Dharaa.

The woman looked down again. He again said, "Before marrying you, the queen mother has been in contact with prince Raefal. That was his first relationship. That lightning bolt is proof of the drucless sky's honesty, if the queen mother wasn't a girl when she married you."

Daeriel was not surprised at all. He knew that from the beginning. However, Daeriel recognizes the greatness of Dharaa who can know the great disgrace. In contrast to Geross who tried to hide his surprise. He didn't expect Qwella and Raefal....

"What else do you know?" Ask Daeriel. Dharaa breathed a heavy sigh.

"I dare not say this." Dharaa shook his head while rubbing his face.

"Dharaa, just say it. We're in a panic." Geross tries to calm Dharaa down.

Daeriel closed his eyes tightly to control his emotions that were already at the top of his head. He looked annoyed at Dharaa.

"I beg you, tell me everything you know. I'm really freaking out right now. What you're talking about is my son" Daeriel said.

Dharaa nodded weakly, "I feel a curse flowing in the blood of the queen mother. The curse also runs in your baby's blood."

"Curse?" Daeriel swallowed the saliva.

"There is a sense of disappointment and hate" said Dharaa.

"Who hates me?" Ask Daeriel. Dharaa shook his head, "Not you, but king Baltazar."

Deg

"The condemned man hates the king of Baltazar." Dhara reaffirmed his sentence.

"That astrologer" murmured Geross.

Dharaa and Daeriel turned towards him.

"Hubber?" Ask Daeriel.

"The fortune-teller who was beheaded. At that time the king Baltazar beheaded the old fortune teller. I'm sure he sent queen Qwella to curse this kingdom." Geross no longer hesitated to say that.

Daeriel seemed to think, "The old fortune teller who saved Raefal's life is still a fetus with a tree of life?"

Geross nodded quickly. Daeriel rubbed his face roughly, "Why can Grandpa Geross be sure?"

Geross seemed to think, "Many issues are circulating, if the old fortune teller came back to life because he saved the tree of life. He had a lot of students learning everything from him. Maybe Queen Qwella's one of them."

Dharaa added, "The tree of life can have a youthful and restorative effect on the drucless body. Prince Raefal was able to survive because the life of the tree was within his body. Queen Qwella was first in contact with Prince Raefal. Their bodies are connected, I understand now." Dharaa looked serious.

Daeriel and Geross turned to him. They were both curious about the contents of Dharaa's head.

The female physician looked up at King Daeriel with trembling eyes, "It is estimated that the age of Queen Qwella is 312 years. He was one of the old seer's disciples and he was there when king Baltazar beheaded them all. When their corpses were buried under the tree of life, the tree made them recover. The fortune teller wants his revenge on the king of Baltazar accomplished through the beautiful queen Qwella. Queen Qwella maintained her beauty through the power of the tree of life. The life of the tree is with Prince Raefal. That's why he approached prince Raefal. In other words, the life of the prince of Raefal is the life of the tree and the life of all those who have been beheaded by the king of Baltazar."

Geross really did not count on Dharaa's intelligence.

Daeriel is very much older than I am. But his face looks very young. The power of that tree of life was truly extraordinary.

"Did Qwella know about this curse?" Ask Daeriel. Dharaa seemed to be thinking, "Looks like no, the curse is flowing in his body. There's no way Queen Qwella would want that. The old fortune teller instilled the curse secretly."

Daeriel understands now. That's why Qwella was so infatuated with Raefal. That man has all their lives.

"The thing is, the curse is also in my son's body. I'm so worried about him" Daeriel murmured.

Geross and Dharaa could understand the anxiety their king felt.

"What is now a burden on my mind is how to get rid of this curse" Daeriel said.

"Only one" said Dharaa. Geross and Daeriel turned to him.

"King Baltazar must apologize directly to the old fortune teller."

Night in the human world,

Raefal took Trissya for a walk. They visited the best restaurants. Raefal is a romantic man and very indulgent to his wife.

After eating out at the restaurant, they spend time by the tourist lake which is open every night. The couple was on a boat down the lake accompanied by rowers.

Raefal was a little anxious when he was on the boat. He was afraid of falling and was electrocuted from coming into contact with water. His hand did not stop holding Trissya's hand. The woman smiled at her husband's behavior.

When the rower pulled the boat over, Raefal panicked

"Slowly, Sir. Just ngagetin me," said Raefal. The rower chuckled little, "I'm sorry, sir. I feel like I'm not really speeding around with the boat."

Raefal pouted for a while then laughed, "Please, sir."

Raefal and Trissya continue their night by visiting a food store to buy food supplies for an entire month.

Raefal chose some meat and sausages. Every now and then she asked Trissya about the food she chose. The woman nodded.

"Tomorrow what will you eat?" Ask Trissya. Raefal seemed to think, "Flow from vegetables. I want a diet."

Trissya chuckled at her husband's innocent answer, "Why should diet?"

"Let's not fat." Raefal patted his stomach. Trissya approached him with a mischievous look. The man got nervous. Trissya rubbed Raefal's stomach.

"I still love you, really. Either your stomach is fat, or plaid," sighed Trissya. Both of Raefal's cheeks heated up and now flushed red because of his wife's words.

"Darling, this is in the store. We'll continue at home, yeah." Raefal rubbed his wife's arm. Trissya chuckled, "I'm just kidding."

Raefal had already carried two full baskets in his hands. He gave the two baskets to the cashier to count. Trissya still chooses vegetables. However, both of his eyes were distracted at the shop that was clinging to the vegetable shop. For a moment the woman was daydreaming.

Trissya brought a shopping cart and gave it to Raefal who was thrusting the previous two baskets to the cashier. The man received the basket from Trissya. He saw his wife coming out of the store. Out of anxiety, Raefal caught up with him.

"Mas, how's the shopping?" Ask cashier. Raefal turned to him, "Count first, I'll come back."

Without waiting for a response from the cashier, Raefal immediately looked for Trissya who entered the clothing store. The man looked out his eyes. He saw Trissya holding some clothes. The man smiled in relief to find his wife. He approached.

"Honey, if you want to buy clothes, we can buy clothes in the mall. Come on, let's go to the mall." Raefal gently pulled his wife's hand. However, Raefal's gaze cheered when he saw the small clothes Trissya was holding.

It turned out that Trissya was holding the baby clothes. Trissya smiled looking at those cute clothes. The man was sad.

"I want to buy this one, same one." Trissya was carrying a pair of brightly colored baby girl clothes. Raefal did not have the heart to see the happiness that emanated on his wife's face. The man smiled while nodding.

"Okay, we buy."

On the way home, Trissya fell asleep. He leaned his head against Raefal's shoulder while driving.

Yes, the man no longer hesitated to show his wealth. Sometimes, the neighbors question the work of Raefal who can be rich like that.

They don't know if Raefal is a prince who can have anything with his money.

The car arrived in front of the house. Raefal did not want to wake his wife. He decides to carry Trissya's body and take her into the room. The woman did not even feel disturbed.

Raefal rubbed his wife's long hair gently. The man looked at the baby clothes that Trissya had bought.

"We're definitely going to be parents, honey."
