Don't Separate Me

On a sunny day, after breakfast as usual Salma drove her husband to the office. Salma kissed Burhan's hand and waved her hand to let Burhan go.

After Burhan's car was no longer visible to his eyes, Salma entered the house and sat in the family room while watching television. Seeing his daughter-in-law sitting in his own family room, his father-in-law approached him and sat down near him.

"What did you see Salma?" Ask Burhan's father to start their conversation.

"It's Pa, gossip." Salma replied smiling at Burhan's father.

"Morning has seen the gossip." Reply to Burhan's father while picking up the newspaper on his desk.

Burhan's father opened the newspaper page and occasionally read every title on the page he opened. Until the end of the page there was no interesting news, Burhan's father folded the newspaper back as before and put it on the table.

"What about your content? Is it okay?" Ask Burhan's father.

Salma was a little surprised by the conversation Burhan's father suddenly asked about the contents.

"Ehm.. Ummm.. Thank God you are healthy Pa." Salma answered nervously.

"You must take care of your health, so that you and the baby in your womb are healthy. Don't think too much about all your mom's talk. He's like that." Burhan's father advised Salma.

"Yes Pa."Answer Salma briefly. Salma wanted to switch the conversation, but she didn't know what to talk about with her father-in-law. Salma didn't want to keep lying if her father-in-law kept talking about her womb.

Moments later, Salma heard someone knocking on the door from outside.

"I opened the door first. Looks like there's a guest." Pamit Salma left her father-in-law to the front door to open.

"Vania?" Salma was surprised.

"Why? Shocked? Just a regular time." Said Vania with her centile. Without being told to enter, Vania had already walked in like her own home. Vania accidentally hits Salma's shoulder until Salma almost falls. It was fortunate that Salma was able to balance her body, so she did not fall to the floor.

"Ups! Sorry!" Said Vania looking at Salma with her sly smile. Vania leaves Salma and heads to the living room to find Burhan's mother.

Salma paused for a moment with worry. Salma took a deep breath and threw it away hard. Upon awakening, Salma closed the door and went inside.

"Good day Om." Sapa Vania after seeing Burhan's father sitting in the family room watching tv.

"Good afternoon. Well, look who's coming? You haven't played here in a long time?" Burhan's father asked with a happy smile.

"Hehe's regular Om, I'm late at this time busy taking care of Papa's business." Vania answered kindly.

Vania and Burhan's father chatted coolly. Salma who saw their familiarity felt envious. He just stood watching them.

"Ahh I am very envious of their familiarity. Papa doesn't hate me, but I've never seen Papa that happy while chatting with me. And I've never seen Papa smile like that." Salma in the heart. Again Salma took a breath and threw it hard to calm her heart.

Salma went to the kitchen and told Art to prepare a drink and some snacks to serve for her guests.

Salma was about to get out of the kitchen, but her steps stopped seeing her mother-in-law coming down the stairs, and smiled very happily.
