Don't Separate Me

Don't Separate Me
Failed to escape

The next day...!!!

Salma awoke from her sleep. She looked at the next door, there was still a husband she loved so much that closed her eyes. A sense of sadness enveloped his heart, whether it was jealousy or the fear of loss that he was currently feeling.

Salma looked at her husband inside. His hand touched the husband's cheek. I don't feel his tears flowing nonstop.

"What should I do? Do I have to let you go or keep you? If I want to let you go, will I be able to let you go. But if I defend you, my defenses get weaker every time I see you with a woman who will in fact give you offspring. I know that's what you've been expecting from our marriage. But I realized that I couldn't grant your wish." Inner Salma who was still staring at her husband inside. Husbands who may be more distant and longer just become a status in front of the family and the world.

Salma wiped away her tears, afraid that her husband would see her crying. She was just thinking what decision she would take for her relationship with her husband.

Salma sat on the bed and leaned her body against the bed. She waited for her husband to wake up and play his cell phone. Swipe right and left menu. His eyes looked at his phone but his heart thought somewhere. He was in a dilemma that was difficult to solve.

"I have to how? If I had to be sincere, maybe it would be difficult. But if I'm not sincere, it hurts. Which path should I take as a way out?" Salma thought hard. Salma was getting restless. She occasionally bit her own lips out of confusion.

Not long after, Salma realized that her husband had woken up from his sleep. Burhan opened his eyes and looked towards Salma with kriyip eyes.

"Are you awake, baby?" Burhan asked in a hoarse voice typical of people who wake up. Burha scratched her neck from the itching.

"It's over!" Salma replied with a wry smile concealing her uneasiness.

"Why didn't you wake me?" Burhan asked in the same position.

"Your sleep looks really good, so I purposely didn't wake you up."Salma answered.

"Yes already! I'm gonna take a shower first." Burhan moved from his bed to the bathroom.

"Mas! Have you started loving Fitri?" Tanya Salma arrived because she did not want to prejudge her husband.

"Why did you come up with a question like this? You don't believe me anymore?" Burhan asked, not understanding his wife's way of thinking.

"I don't believe you anymore. I just asked if you've started loving Fitri? You answer yes or no!" Salma held back her tears from coming out.

"You don't think like that. I've told you that I'll only love you in my life and I don't want anything else. I just want you. I don't want you to ask me like this anymore. The answer is definitely no." Burhan's light convinced Salma.

"But, seeing what you're doing to Fitri, your attention to Fitri, which woman doesn't think the same as me? Which woman will always think positively every time she sees her husband is more concerned with other women who may be more perfect than her?" Asked Salma who had maintained his tears so as not to come out.

But finally after he issued all the questions he had in his heart, his defense broke down as well. His tears flowed with the swiftness of the mark he could bear. Burhan who saw his wife crying because he felt how sad and afraid his wife's heart. Unable to see him like this, Burhan quickly approached his wife and hugged her tightly.

"I'm sorry, baby! I didn't know what I was doing would hurt you like this. I didn't know everything I did would raise a question like this in your heart. But trust me that I'm doing all this just so that our child-to-be is healthy. My concern is only for our future son not for Fitri. I really didn't know that what I was doing was going to hurt you. But please believe me." Burhan's crying light was in Salma's arms.

Hearing Burhan's answer, Salma's tears flowed either because she felt guilty for thinking negatively of Burhan, or because she didn't fully believe everything her husband said. He could only hope that everything he thought was wrong. And what her husband said was the fact.

Burhan let go of his embrace and his fingers wiped off Salma's tears to keep from crying again.

"Trust me! just be patient until the child is born. We'll be as happy as we used to be with our son and there's no more him in our little family. You have to wait for me." Burhan's words calmed Salma down.

Surprisingly, after hearing everything Burhan said was able to calm Salma's heart and make her stop crying.

Salma held both hands of Burhan who was still busy wiping away Salma's tears. Salma looked at him and smiled.

"I'm sorry!" Said Salma with a distinctive hoarse tone of people who had finished crying.  His hand replaced Burhan's hand erasing his aitmat.

Burhan was relieved that Salma had calmed down and he was stunned after seeing his wife smile at him. Burhan's hands stiffened Salma's cheeks. Burhan's kiss landed on Salma. Salma closed her eyes as she felt comfortable and calm after feeling Burhan's kiss.
