Chapter 55 A Brief Reunion

In the afternoon Aslan said goodbye to leave again, Winnie who escorted until the airport could see a sad expression that was clearly visible on Aslan's face.

"I bought this, today let's celebrate an adult's party" Winnie handed over her groceries to Jeny.

"Oh dad, I should be celebrating my birthday today with my family, but Brian hasn't come home yet. That's why let me enjoy tonight with you guys" Winnie said.

"Your father didn't come home? how could she miss her daughter's birthday?" fabio asked in shock as he felt Winnie was being neglected.

"I told her she was going to put her job on hold for my birthday and was planning a party. You were invited to the party too but I refused, I don't like the awkwardness that must have been present because I was a stranger to the family" he explained.

Jeny and Fabio knew Winnie was thinking about them, if the party was held they felt awkward being present in the middle of the rich. In the end they will definitely embarrass themselves even humiliate Winnie, already in make sure they will refuse to attend and it will make Winnie sad.

"Then let's have the party you want" said Jeny, crying for sadness because she was still a burden to her daughter.

"Yes, open the beer!" Fabio's orders.

Winnie understood when Deborah said the place was dangerous after coming directly, apparently the nurse Iren residence was not a place that could be entered easily.

After the reunion ended Winnie chose to go home because Brian sent a message he was on the way home, when Brian returned from his job he had to be a good boy who welcomed his father home.

Arriving at Winnie's house, showering and changing clothes, a few minutes later Brian arrived home. Winnie soon joins Camila and Nicki to welcome, despite coming later but she becomes the first person Brian embraces.

Of course it caused jealousy for Camila and Nicki, but they held it back and relaxed as usual.

"Winnie I really couldn't focus on working yesterday, I've made a big mistake with you. I missed your birthday," said Brian, who remembered it.

"No matter dad, yesterday I celebrated with my foster parents" Winnie said.
