Chapter 16 The Second Ruler

"Aslaaan! how awful!" yell at one of his men.

The casual chatter immediately stopped, looking at his seemingly anxious subordinates he asked "What's wrong?."

"Jimmy's in the crackle," he reported.

"What's? who did it?" asked Aslan astonished that there was a person who dared to his subordinates.

"We better get there first, quickly" he said.

Without a second thought Aslan and his bottom boy immediately left, of course Winnie also came along.

"I'll never let anyone do anything to my subordinates, let alone gang up like losers when I'm not around" Aslan replied.

Carl smiled as if satisfied with Aslan's answer.

"So you refuse to make peace?" ask Carl.

"Aslan!" call Winnie before Aslan can get a word out to answer.

"Please prioritize Jimmy first, the situation is quite severe," he said.

Aslan looked at Jimmy who was in Winnie's lap, blood had flooded his uniform and it was clear he was seriously injured.

"Our business is not finished yet" Aslan said softly and coldly.

Immediately he ordered his other subordinates to take Jimmy away, due to his severe circumstances he was immediately taken to the hospital.

"Thank you," he said.

"You're thinking about that guy, right?" guess Aslan was referring to Carl.

"He did it on purpose" Winnie said.

"I know, maybe he wants to compete with me. That's normal" Aslan said as he occasionally sipped his drink.

"Then don't get carried away by emotions, don't get into the trap" Winnie said earnestly.

Aslan looked at Winnie and again he found anxiety there.

"Would you come by my house?" aslan asked to change the topic so that Winnie's mind immediately focused on the others.

"I just finished one building that was half as big, I want to know what you think" he replied.

"Oh, all right," he said back to relaxing.

"Carl! explain to me right now what you're up to" Carmen ordered into the room.

Carl, who was playing the piano, stopped, looking at Carmen with a curious face, smiling.

"What plan do you mean?" his reply.

"Huh, don't pretend to be stupid! you told some people to beat up Aslan's men, why don't you get in that fight and stop him!" obviously Carmen.

"Haha... Carmen this is why you lost to Winnie."

"What did you say?" ask Carmen to be offended.

Turning from the Piano Carl gazed out the window, from there he could see the path everyone was going through to get into the school area.

"To defeat the king then you must be able to subdue his advisors first, even though a king is powerful but if he is only alone then he is nothing more than an ordinary human being," he said.

"Speak clearly!" carmen's orders are reluctant to do word games that are his weakness.

"I'll take Winnie from Aslan's side" Carl replies.

"Don't tell me you like that stupid girl too" Carmen coldly threatened.
