Chapter 28 The Shit Weekend

Winnie just realized it turns out to be Aslan's girlfriend has taken a lot of time, already twice she missed the weekend helping Jeny because she continues to deal with Aslan.

Although he secretly enjoyed the togetherness but there was guilt to his parents because he seemed to have ignored his parents.

Therefore this weekend he has asked Aslan not to disturb him because he wants a peaceful time with his parents, as usual Winnie helped Jeny work at the laundry on that weekend.

"Today we're going home fast, I've asked permission to go home in the afternoon because there's business at my friend's house. You will go straight home!" jeny said in between their work.

"Oh, well," said Winnie somewhat disappointed because she thought she would spend the day with her parents.

After lunch they parted at a crossroads, staring at the departure of Jeny who was walking in the opposite direction she began to think about helping her father.

But he doesn't know where his father is now, and Fabio never allows him to help with his work.

There was no choice he went back home, before that he went to the market first to buy vegetables for dinner later.

At least he spent an hour just to buy some vegetables and fish, choosing a detour to enjoy a peaceful day apparently that weekend he was unlucky.

At the end of that quiet alley Carl stood looking at her, his annoying smile making Winnie grumble.

"Am I that attractive until you're always looking for opportunities?" ask Winnie.

"Your boyfriend is overprotective, I just want to have a casual chat with you" Carl said.

"really? that's why you framed Aslan and even framed Carmen?" ask Winnie.

"You want to be honest?" carl asked as he approached and cornered Winnie to the wall.

"What kind of honesty do you want to say? that even though it's perfect but you can't afford to interest me? that must suck, right?" reply Winnie.

A sharp question right through Carl's heart, he is a man without gaps who is able to rise to the top without enemies. If Carl's side can be sure Winnie got a position and a bright future, but their nature is quite similar so that it will be a boomerang.

Because Carl is smart and without gaps that make Winnie take the decision to make him an opponent, of course because he could not fool the man like the others so he was afraid of becoming a real servant.

"The right guess, I want you more than anything. It's a shame you're against it so hard" whispered Carl.

The strong hand suddenly ambushed Winnie's neck, and her breathing was cut off so that Winnie opened her mouth wide to not lose oxygen.

"Sorry, dear Winnie, if I can't get you then no one should have you" Carl said with teary red eyes.

As much as possible Winnie thrashed, kicking her legs at Carl but the movement made Carl lock Winnie more in his stocky body.

He tries to reach Carl's face with both hands but easily Carl continues to dodge, is this the end of Winnie's life? he started to limp and his vision started to blur.

If in the previous life he died of burning and blood loss, will he die of oxygen in this life? in the mind that was soon asleep he just said 'God, this main character needs a great supporting character.'

There was a breeze so cold that it hit his face, perhaps it was the wind of heaven that welcomed his arrival. Inhaling his strange breath he smelled the scent of mint, did heaven smell of mint? slowly Winnie opened her eyes.

It took a few minutes for him to see clearly, the first thing that appeared was the face of the supporting character with an anxious look.

"You're sober? how you feeling? is anyone sick?" ask Aslan quickly.

Winnie got up, looked around and realized she was in her house.

Smiling while scratching the back of his head he replied "I want to see you, in agreement I just can't interfere right? so I saw you from a distance, that's when I saw Carl being rude to you. I'm sorry I was late to help you, but if you guys were just talking I'd just be watching from afar."

"Stalker," said Winnie in a disgusted manner.

"Hey hey! is that your attitude toward the person who saved you?" aslan.

"Ah well, I'm sorry. Thank you, supporting character" said Winnie.

He got up and was about to prepare dinner because when he glanced at the afternoon hour had arrived, while Aslan muttered indistinctly to the astonishment of the call of the supporting character.

"You see my groceries?" ask Winnie who can't find her.

"No," Aslan said, shaking his head.

"Ah shit! it seems to be left there," he grumbled.

Without a word Winnie took her jacket and went to the place where she was attacked by Carl, of course Aslan followed from behind.

Damn again the vegetables that Winnie had bought it was a mess, judging from the rest may be former stray cats or dogs. Forced he had to shop again with little money left over, finished buying vegetables Winnie counted the remaining money in the wallet.

Staring at the ranks of fish and meat he could only sigh because the money was not enough, again walking towards the house tonight their dinner menu is just vegetables.

"Would you like to go to dinner at my house or come home?" ask Winnie.

Surprisingly Aslan did not answer, when he looked back apparently Aslan was talking to the merchant.

"What are you doing?" ask Winnie to come over.

"Ah, our dinner menu today is barbeque, how is it? you likey?" sahut Aslan asked.

"This is sir, this is the best quality beef" said the trader thrusting a plastic package.

"Thank you" said Aslan immediately take it and pay.

"Let's go home!" bring Aslan with a smile.

"God, apparently you paid my misfortune through him," Winnie murmured with a smile.

Immediately following Aslan's steps they went home, of course, Aslan initially intended to make a barbeque but Winnie did not agree so that in the end they agreed to make a hotpot.

For Winnie the dish was suitable to relieve fatigue after a day of work, of course he did it for the sake of his parents.

As they had been waiting for, once Fabio and Jeny came home they were shocked and delighted by the welcome.

"Om, aunt. Introduce me Aslan, I'm a friend of Winnie's at school" Aslan said.

Of course Winnie was quite surprised because she thought Aslan introduced himself as her boyfriend, but of course it was better because if Fabio knew his girlfriend Aslan then Fabio would immediately interrogate and the fun night would be over.

"Aish.if you know of a guest coming I will cancel my meeting, I feel bad for leaving you with all this cooking work" said Jeny.
