"Assalamualaikum" Desi said his greetings after his feet entered Revan's house in the morning. Previously he met Bi Iyas in front. After asking permission to enter, then Desi dared to step her foot into the house.
The day showed at seven in the morning. But the atmosphere in this house is still quiet. Not as usual. "Where did the people go?" he murmured in the heart. Then his feet stepped towards Revan's room. Because previously the man had sent a message to go directly into his room only.
Tok to tok.
He knocked the door three times. There's no answer. When he was about to tap again, a message came in on his phone.
'If it's you, just go in'. That's the message from Revan.
Desi opened the door slowly. When he was about to enter Revan's room, he was stunned for a moment. Why is it so dark? Inner asked. The sun had already revealed itself.
"Van?" call Desi slowly while stepping foot towards the bed. He could still see Revan curled up under a thick blanket. The man turned his back, facing the window.
Desi steps up to the window. Once struck, the thick curtains of the window coverings open. The blinding sunlight directly entered into Revan's room. The man covered his entire body with a blanket.
"Wake up!" desi said slowly. He stared fixedly at Revan who was still lying down. Looks like Revan is reluctant to reveal his messy self.
Yeah, looks like Revan forgot what he said last night. Trying to stay strong for the family. But now look at that man. He looks weak helpless. Even after performing the morning prayer, he returned to crying.
"I said wake up, wake up! You didn't hear?" Desi pulled a thick cloth that wrapped around Revan's body. Instantly he was silent for a moment to see the state of the man. Then in the next second Desi pulled Revan's hand, and made the man sit up from his sleep. Desi immediately hugged Revan's body after she had been silent for a long time while looking at the chaotic man in front of her.
"Just "crying. Don't hold back" she whispered slowly. Both of his hands were busy rubbing Revan's back. He knows what happened to this family. Because a little bit of himself had listened to the story of Bi Iyas who was in front earlier.
Revan was crying. He sobbed like a child in Desi's arms. Revan no longer cares what he looks like in front of his girlfriend. All he needed right now was, someone he was leaning against. The place where he vented the sense of tightness he felt.
Usually he will look for the mother if his mood is not okay. And the brother is also sometimes the goal if the mother is not at home, or again is busy. But now is not the time to complain to the mother. Even the mother grieved more her heart. What about the brother? Her crying broke when she remembered the man.
"I know you're strong against this whole Van. I'm sure you can. Sad can be, feeling lost can also be. But remember, you must rise. You have to stay strong. Mama needs you. Do not make Mama worse if you see your situation like this. Dina too, she needs you Van. There is nothing more he can rely on besides you, Mama and also Papa" said Desi at length. There was nothing he could do but just provide support to Revan.
The man gave no response. Still silent trying to subside her cries.
"Now you take a shower. I'm going to Dina's room for a bit" Desi said, then stepped into the closet. His hands were busy looking for clothes that the man would wear. "wear this. I'm out first" Desi put a stel of casual clothes on the bed. Then his feet stepped towards the door. "Bathletic hunt. I'll be back again!" he added before completely missing behind the door.
"Yes, take a shower. What does he think I'm his son? Issh" murmured Revan who felt displeased with Desi's treatment.
...
"Dina. You're not papa?" desi asked after her feet entered Dina's room. The girl appears to be sitting on the edge of the bed.
"Gue is not what Des. When will it come?" Dina tried to show her smile. Although it looks a little forced.
"From earlier. I went to Revan's room first" Desi replied, then sat down beside Dina.
"Des, if I cry again, can't ya?" dina asked slowly towards Desi. Her eyes were red and slightly swollen from crying too often.
Dina's crying broke again. Tears flooded his eyes. Even her cries had just subsided for some time not long since she cried from dawn. Just like Revan did. The tears seem to have no end. Just keep flowing.
"Gue knew that Deni would not like to see you cry gini Din cake. But this time I'll let it go. Cry as much. Until you get tired. Then after that, there will be no more water coming out of your eyes. Just be careful if you cry again. I don't want to know you anymore" Desi threatened. He did not mean anything, just wanted to make his best friend was not too bad. The goal is only one, which is to make Dina rise again. Doing what needs to be done.
Dina simply responded with a nod of her head many times. It was hard for him to speak at this moment. Even to refute Desi's words that slightly irritated him was very difficult.
"Lo don't be weak Din. You should be able to get up. Do not let the sense of loss make you weak. Remember, it's not all the truth. There is still hope" Desi said again to revive the spirit of the friend.
"Eh there's Desi huh. When's nyampe?" not long after Dina's crying subsided, Aunt Rini went into Dina's room. On his face was still the look of sadness. Even though the middle-aged woman tried to show her smile.
"Yes Tan. Not long ago. Back to Revan's room first" Desi immediately greeted Aunt Rini's hand.
"Is the child awake, baby?" ask Aunt Rini to Desi. What he meant was his youngest son.
"Already Tan. Desi had told him to take a bath" Desi replied a bit clumsy.
"It's good if that's it. Thanks to you, baby. Come all breakfast together" invite Aunt Rini who actually came to this room to invite Dina breakfast.
"Eh, yes Tan. Later me and Dina followed" he replied. Actually, he feels bad. But when he saw the look on Aunt Rini's face just now, Desi did not have the heart to reject it.
"OKAY. Aunt wait downstairs yeah. Dina don't forget to invite her friend" Aunt Rini again reminded Dina to invite and Desi down.
"Yes Tan" Dina replied as she nodded her head.
Before coming out of Dina's room, Aunt Rini rubbed the girl's shoulder gently first. Giving strength. "We need energy" he said slowly before stepping foot to the door.
"Yes Din. We need energy. Let's have breakfast" take Desi in spirit.
"Your very spirit. Want to eat with camer, right?" reply Dina while smiling mockingly. It seemed like Dina could take a moment to forget what happened to her.
"They were also camer lo.." but in the next second Desi regretted it.
"Why not continue? I'm sure Deni will be fine" said Dina again with a reassuring smile. Yes, he must be able to rise. He had to make sure first that the news was not true, and Deni was fine.
"Yes. We have to be sure" Desi pulled Dina's hand out of the room, and headed for the first floor aka the dining room. It seems like this girl is really starving.
