An Unpleasant Task

The eagle hurried to his office. His footsteps swung long enough to reach his office as fast as he could. He who had planned to be a little afternoon to the office because he was still tired due to overtime all night was forced to eliminate his agenda today. Dira, his secretary who had only been back to work for a few days, gave him bad news this morning. So, here it is now. In the elevator to his room.

The eagle reached the floor where the room was. He saw his two secretaries sitting neatly at their desks. There is relief felt. Both of them seemed busy with their respective jobs and no one was aware of his arrival.

"Ehem!" The eagle cleared his whereabouts. His two secretaries simultaneously raised their heads to look at the origin of the voice.

"Good morning, sir!" the two greeted.

"Good morning. Dira, to my room now!" The eagle answered the greeting of his two secretaries without stopping the step towards the door of his room which was only a few steps away.

"Good, sir."

Dira rushes out of his chair and steps up to follow the boss who looks not okay in Aline's eyes this morning. I don't know, the girl just felt that her superior aura was not as good as usual days, although a smile still adorned her handsome face, but her aura felt very different.

After Dira's death, Aline returned to busy herself with her work. He had already given up some of his work to Dira, the real CEO secretary. However, Dira who has just returned to work a few days ago asked the girl for help to help him first before the baby is old enough to leave work full hours, he said, that's three months away.

This Eagle-owned company greatly values the nature of a woman, both as a wife and as a mother. This can be seen from the many company regulations that provide tolerance and facilitate the position of women as workers without having to leave their role in domestic life. Like Dira who is still breastfeeding her baby, given working hours only until 13.00 WIB only until the baby is 6 months old, and many more regulations that do give the impression of respecting women.

However, that was not the case for single women like Aline. They are considered to have no responsibilities that limit their scope, so the rules for them are the same as for men, even though they are still protected by the company.

Aline started to feel uneasy after almost an hour ago Dira came out from their superior room. The reason, the young mother said that she would accompany their CEO to attend some agenda in Bandung. Yeah, Dira didn't lie about this. She is still breastfeeding the baby and inevitably Aline as the secretary of two CEOs who must accompany.

"Duuuuh, Sister Dira. Can't Mr Erlangga go alone?" his whining suddenly made Dira shocked instead of playing.

"Sorry, Ma'am. I'm upset," the girl's great-grandson.

"Partially yes, you are what's wrong with the DL (outer service) with Mr Erlangga? It is also included in your job desc. How come it's just racy anyway? Nothing's gonna happen. Just relax, relax!" omel also persuaded Dira to try to calm the girl who was careless since he said that Aline was the one who would accompany Mr. Erlangga to Bandung for the next few days.

Aline could only exhale, riled after his partner did not provide any solution. Not that he's unprofessional. But true, he had never thought of becoming a secretary before. And considering himself on the run or expulsion, he was sure that whether it was papi or his mama would definitely send people to look for him. And Bandung is not the right choice to hide. Too many mama colleagues in the flower city. He did not want to be caught and forced to go home, then forced to marry the man he had been betrothed to. After all, he was still not ready to meet his papa. Although she misses her mom and dad very much, she still feels she is not ready to see them again. There was still a hint of disappointment in his heart.

Then, another reason why the girl objected to following the CEO for some agenda in Bandung. The first thing he thought of was himself going to skip that long at the restaurant, how was his job? And even though Abah and Mommy did not mind, and the girl was very sure that the two adoptive parents would not object to her permission, he would feel bad for himself at them and at his co-workers at the restaurant. Okelah, his work can be done after returning from Bandung later, but he does not want to be labeled as the golden child Abah and Mommy who constantly get relief and forgiveness. He just wants to work normally, well, calmly like the employees in general.

The second one, he was confused how to tell his two brothers, especially Rio who had become very protective of him lately. Aline knew both of her brothers were sending people to monitor her secretly. He did not want to have a quarrel and moreover made his two brothers not calm. Especially Rio who certainly will not hesitate to use all means so that everything goes according to the will of the man. And he really did not want Erlangga to deal with his Rio bang.

Again, the girl threw her breath rough. I don't know how many times he has been like that.

Dira who realized the turmoil of his friend was just a head bobble, did not understand why the lilac-pashmina girl strongly objected. It is the duty of a secretary to accompany his superiors when needed, he said. So why should be so much more with the task this time. Okay maybe Aline is just nervous because this is her first assignment to accompany her boss out of town. Long time will also get used to it because there will be a lot of agenda of the CEO out of town in the future.

"What the hell are you, Lin? What a hell is this country?" ask Dira gently. Finally the young mother could not bear to not ask directly. Hearing Dira who had tried to communicate with him, Aline did not hesitate to convey her anxiety. He told me the reason, not everything. There is no way he can also tell the reasons associated with his family. The girl only shared her anxiety with the work at the restaurant. "Mbak. If you can advise, you should permit to the resto for a few days. Later Mbak try to talk with Mr. Erlangga so that after from Bandung you can get permission not to work for several days to finish your work at the restaurant", break up Dira after thinking long enough.

He and Erlangga did not consider the matter earlier. They are preoccupied with making plans and forgetting that this girl has other responsibilities. Not because of his unprofessionalism at work, precisely because he is very professional is why he became very worried about this task.

Aline speechless. He breathed tired. It would be very dead end for him if it was like this. And this coworker's advice is quite helpful even though it still doesn't solve the problem. So yes already. Just wait and accept it.
