Denisa Rosaline
Regretting

Flashback.

The eagle and his family attend a dinner party at Ethan's parents' residence. Mama Ethan is having a birthday and they are having a small party that only invites close friends and relatives.

The eagle sits on a bench not far from the pool area in the house. Ethan and Aura.

"Tumben nih nempel continues, usually like people do not know each other," said Eagle on Aura who indeed since the meeting the other day with Aline made him not want to let go of Ethan. Ethan was silent, not taking the Eagle's words seriously. It is different from Aura.

Aura smiled crisply. "Ngejagain my husband from the secretary of Brother Eagle." Aura glanced at her husband who pretended not to hear.

"The heat? Why is it the same?"

"No. I mean Aline, not Dira," Aura explained. "Well, I don't want my husband to be treated to him either..."

"Maura!" reprimand Ethan. The reproved ones only throw away the face.

"Rooks. Try to explain to me. What's wrong with Aline?"

"There's nothing!" answer Ethan ketus.

"What's wrong?" Aura's tone of voice had begun to rise to hear her husband defending her and she said she was trying to cover up the bad behavior of the woman named Aline, the woman her husband likes. "Obviously he was staying with the men. Which fine woman stays with three men at a time on the same night! It's crazy not!"

"Enough!!! Stop your bullshit!" Ethan's voice was full of emphasis, then left his wife and best friend. While Aura smiled bitterly, trying to understand, because after all she knew that her husband still liked the woman. Knowing someone we like is not as good as we think it is not an easy thing to accept, so she understands, although her heart feels squeezed also because of the attitude of her husband. But he accepted. Think of it as karma for him for ever wasting that man's feelings.

Flashback.

The brief conversation he had with Aura a few days ago turned around in his head again. He did not deny it because he saw himself on several occasions the girl walked with different men during this week.

The eagle threw the rough file he was holding onto the table. His mind was still not distracted from the girl who had been his secretary for a week. The girl's performance has been excellent, so far. It's not wrong to recommend the girl to replace him. In fact, his performance exceeded that of Dira himself. Rendi was also right about the secretary's knowledge and insight. The girl was invited to talk about any topic. He can also be a good discussion partner. His ideas, criticism and input are quite helpful. Intelligent and deft, above average level. That's the value of Aline who worked with him for a week.

Indeed, he who sometimes likes to give work that is not urgent-urgent right. Somehow because of his frustration to see the usually untouchable girl even walked with some men, two of whom he recognized as crazy rich from the Tiocandra clan, he said, while the other one only he saw from behind but he believed not second Tiocandra. From his appearance, it seemed like a rich man as well. Aline is the type of woman who pursues wealth by approaching rich men? Didn't the girl still work side by side in a cafe owned by her adoptive parents? Even if the accusation is true, he has no right to judge.

The disappointed look that the girl gave him just before leaving the office made the Eagle's mind grow increasingly confused. If that was so angry, was what Aura told him a few days ago wrong? But what he saw during this week, did not show if what Aura said was just a lie.

"Aaaarrrrgghhhh!" he shouted, both hands holding his head and tugging at his hair. Dizziness and worry. "He is different! Why is he different? Why didn't he slap me? Or screaming at me?" The eagle pulled his hair. "At a time when other women prefer to put a hand stamp on the cheek of men, it turns out that the girl prefers to give raw bogem, and the power is really extraordinary! And that look of hers, makes me regret it!" his monologue to himself while stroking the stomach that still feels sore. The eagle put his head on the table. His passion to work for the rest of the day is gone already. His stomach feels so sore. The eagle shuffled towards the bedroom in his office.

Trying to close his eyes but the girl's gaze came back haunting. There was a strong sense of guilt inside him. I don't know. The eagle was confused on how to deal with the girl on Monday. A heavy mind brought the man to a deep sleep until the Maghreb came.

Whether you can think of where, Eagle drove his car to the restaurant and cafe where his secretary worked side by side. He sat in one of the chairs in the corner of the cafe. A girl dressed in uniform at a restaurant and cafe looks moody in the corner of the kitchen. He had just finished concocting a coffee order of a customer he least wanted to see, for now. Yes, it was Aline. It is replacing the barista cafe that is performing Isya prayers.

"Duuh, adji really long prayer. It's nice to see that shitty boss. It is a pity that Bang Rio has returned to Batam, even though if he has not been able to ask for cementin here. Huuufffftttt, real to see him!" lamented Aline. The quarrel earlier this afternoon with his superior had the mood of the girl broken all day. Aline chose to be quiet if this was the case. And now, the man had suddenly appeared before her and ordered her coffee. Aline took a breath repeatedly to control her tension that felt suddenly rising.

From the corner of the cafe, the Eagle watched the barista from a distance. The barista, who was none other than his secretary, looked tired and moody. There is a sense of guilt for saying the same sentence without ever confirming the truth. There was guilt in his heart. There is doubt there. He himself was inexhaustible, how could it be affected by Aura's sentence the other day. In fact, he had nothing to do with the girl other than a job relationship. He should not have been incited by Aura's words. He shouldn't be the boss. He should have been more professional. He should not have taken care of the private life of his secretary. He should and should have, and now, he's sorry.
