After making sure there was no more crying and sobbing from his wife's room, Ibra walked away from Dee's room and hid behind the stairs. And sure enough, Ibra saw Dee coming out and headed to the kitchen. In that dim light, Ibra could see Dee's face puffy from crying. Ibra's eyes never escaped from Dee who was fetching water in the kitchen.
After he finished taking the water, Dee returned to the room. Time still shows at two o'clock in the evening. Due to his sleepiness Dee resumed his sleep. While Ibra who had made sure the woman entered the room safely, went back up the stairs to Kina's room to immediately leave Dee's house.
Before actually leaving, Ibra peeped long at Kina's forehead. "Abi loved and missed Kina very much. Just a minute, son. Those fun days are coming" murmured Ibra softly.
Once satisfied, Ibra immediately walked to the balcony door and locked the door again. Ibra came down the stairs smoothly. Then he put the stairs back in place. Ibra really looks like a very reliable thief.
.....
Now Ibra has laid her body in her bedroom. His body was very tired, but his eyes were reluctant to sleep. His mind kept working on what he should do tomorrow.
"Did I come to Dee's house tomorrow and see them in person? Or am I gonna hide first and find out everything? Oh my God, this is harder than making a proposal for cooperation with a well-known company," murmured Ibra frustratedly.
"Tomorrow is still Friday, and Al is still in school. It used to be the heart of my two children, only then the heart of my woman," said Ibra smiling happily.
With a smile expanding, Ibra tried to close her eyes hoping for the drowsiness to come. His body and heart were really tired for now.
.....
While in her room, Kina woke up from her sleep. Kina's beautiful eyes began to open.
"What was Ina a beautiful dream? Was there an olan yan datan?" ask Kina to herself. The confused face of the boy looked extremely adorable with his messy hair.
Not wanting to get dizzy on her own, Kina went back to sleep because her eyes were still very sleepy. Until finally a smooth snoring was heard again from his tiny mouth.
.....
Morning had approached, at this time Dee was busy by his son who was already angry from earlier because he did not find the favorite peci he used to use when the heart of Friday.
"Well, where's the peck?" ask Dee for the umpteenth time.
"Because Al put it in the closet, Umi. But now there's no. Where the hell are you going?" said Al annoyed at not finding the peci he was looking for. All the closet came out because of him.
"Don't mess things up, kid. His clothes are a mess, right," said Dee softly advising Al.
"But the peck did not meet, Umi," said Al who had started crying. Time has shown six o'clock past four five. And he came in at seven in the morning, and again, Al couldn't if he didn't wear the peci on Friday.
"Remain with the other peci, yes. School is not required to use white peci," said Dee persuaded Al.
"Don't like it if it's not white, Umi. The rest is just black. Brother does not want," said Al kekeh with his stance.
"Will you go to school or not?" dee asked in a firm voice.
Hearing Uminya's stern voice, Al immediately turned his body and faced Dee.
"Yes, Umi," Al's great-grandson.
"Schools don't have to wear white peci, Bang. All those are equally beneficial. You can not force something at a time like this, which can be late for your school," said Dee advising Al.
Al nodded lethargicly at Uminya's words.
"This, this black peci is also for a handsome brother really," said Dee while pairing the black peci on Al's head.
Al smiled at Uminya's face, although a little annoyed at having to wear the black peci, but Uminya's smile always treated his regret.
"Thank you, Umi," said Al.
"Together, Son. Now Al's down and breakfast, yeah," said Dee stroking her son's cheek gently.
Al shakes. "No need, Umi. Breakfast at school. Later late if breakfast at home," said Al while putting a bag on his shoulder.
Dee nodded in agreement to Al's words. "Yes, at school be careful and do not be reckless," said Dee advised Al before going to school.
"Yes, Umi. Then Al goes first, Umi. Assalamu'alaikum," said Al greeting Dee's hand.
After that Al went out of the room and left for school on foot.
A five-minute walk, Al arrived at his school. Upon entering the gate, Al crosses paths with Mr. Anton, his Principal.
"Assalamu'alaikum, sir," said Al to greet Mr. Anton's hand.
"Waalaikumsalam, son," replied Mr. Anton.
"Tumben once peci you black, son?" ask Mr. Anton. Al is a lover of white color. All male pupils were required to wear the peci on Fridays, and Al never wore the peci other than the white peci.
"Although black, Al remains handsome right, sir?" ask Al proudly.
"Yes, you are handsome, son," replied Mr. Anton lazily.
"Of course, unlike the father, you should always wear a black peci. Because if you wear black peci, your face looks bright right? Then Al goes first, sir. Assalamu'alaikum," said Al ran leaving Mr. Anton who was dumbfounded to hear the narration of the Al.
Mr. Anton rubbed his chest patiently with the attitude of his student. But then he smiled. "You're a miracle kid, kid. You're good at hiding wounds, and you're good at bringing out the atmosphere" muttered Mr. Anton, seeing Al running towards his class.
Since the incident at the race venue, Mr. Anton knows the boy's past even if not completely. The one he caught, Al had an uneasy past. And the boy kept smiling even though his heart was crying sometimes.
.....
Time continues to flow. It didn't feel like the school clock was coming. Al and his friends did not go home immediately, they went to the mosque to perform Friday prayers. And all that is not out of Ibra's view. From morning Ibra followed Al from home. Ibra also heard as Al spoke to his Headmaster. Ibra chuckled when she heard Al pranking his Headmaster. The child's ignorant nature still exists, Ibra thought.
Ibra entered the same mosque as Al to participate in Friday prayers. Ibra took a back position to keep his distance from Al.
Unbelievably, Friday prayer time has finished. Ibra continued to follow Al who was walking along with his friends to get home soon.
Unable to hold himself back, Ibra approached and blocked Al's hand from behind.
Al who felt his hand in someone's grasp instantly turned around. Al's eyes bulged when he saw Ibra holding his hand.
"Abi," muttered Al lirih.
"Om who? Why hold onto our friend?" azka represents her friends.
Ibra. He did not hear the words of Ibra's friends. Fascinating eyes looked at his son's face with a sad look.
"You guys go first, yeah. I want to talk to him for a minute" Al pointed at Ibra with his chin.
"Are you sure Al?" azka.
Al nodded confidently. "You guys take it easy, I must have come home safely" Al assured his friends.
Al's friends nodded and passed leaving Al with Ibra.
This is Al and Ibra now. At the mosque park where they pray Friday.
"What does Abi want?" al said without further ado.
"Did Al never miss Abi?" ibra asked me without answering Al's question.
"Since Abi betrayed Umi, the feeling of longing is not here, Abi," said Al holding his chest.
But it's a lie, Abi. Al continues in the heart. She hugged Ibra. But he still hasn't seen Ibra's struggles for him, Kina and Dee.
"Let Abi fight, Boy?"
