261. The Academy's Difficult Choices

Reynal is joined by Secret Sword, and chief Karin tries to negotiate with the enemy forces. However their current strength was at least one in ten with the strength of their opponent being at a higher level.

“You don't seem to have heard the news that the Stream of Light Hall led by Supreme Master Faith has been defeated by Hell Memoth. Suddenly dozens of bright lights appeared in the sky forming a large light sword. The sword of light flew at high speed attacking the enemy ranks below it as if it had its own consciousness.

On the other hand, Gressham still looks calm seeing the attack. He had activated the sky guard talisman paper that he had previously managed to obtain at the Academy auction.

Reynal wears a protective suit made of heavenly stone, Remi's chairman as well as the Academy elders tasked with guarding the defense immediately wear weapons that had previously been made using earth stones given by Reynal.
