252. The Belit Family Joe

Joe Lie and Joe Nie were visibly upset by the reports given to them. It has been more than three months since the investigation into the murder of their brother Joe Shie, but no information has been given to satisfy them.

Joe Nie, who is the oldest brother of Joe Lie and Joe Shie, feels their investigation is not optimal. Therefore he plans to deal directly with the investigation, however Joe Shie is still their family so inevitably they both have to do something or later the Joe family will start to blame them.

Joe Lie himself tends not to care, according to him the investigation will only throw away their wealth in vain. Joe Lie mentions that the talent of Joe Shie is very low and not suitable for him with other Joe families.

“Sister, I know you have a little problem with the habits of the youngest brother but also think about the self-esteem of our family”, said Joe Nie who tends to have a wise nature.

Although she is a woman and became the only woman of her four siblings, but her good personal and great talent also makes not many family members feel reluctant to her.

Joe Nie, Joe Lie, Joe Saan and Joe Shie, the four brothers with one father and one mother. Joe Nie became the oldest daughter and son, then Joe Lie was the second child who had the talent to rival his brother.

The Joe family where the three of them are one of the strongest families, although they are not included in the five big families but at least they are one of the top ten making their name quite respected.

The news of the death of one of their descendants has clearly tarnished their name, inevitably they have to raise their self-esteem to find and investigate the case of the death of Joe Shie.

He looked quite exhausted after taking care of a dozen of their guild's affairs as the other Nirwana King guild administrators and elders along with dozens of their current alliances were at the High Magic empire to help Hell Memoth against the flow of Light Hall.

The Joe brothers along with one of the vice-leaders of King Nirwana's guild, Gressham, are tasked with guarding their guild and become the head of King Nirwana's alliance to the empire of Humanie for a while.

“Are you sure vice-chairman Gressham went there alone?” Joe Nie is seen to have finished his business for the investigation of the Joe Shie case is now starting to look at Joe Lie. He thinks he will get a lot of work in the future.

“You seriously doubt the power of Gressham's representative, we have no right to advise him better we settle some other affairs” Joe Lie shakes his head slowly, it would be a lie if he also did not trust the strength of their vice guild leader.

After the failure of his final mission, Gressham's vice-chairman is now coming into question. Several other guild elders and higher-ups are now demanding that Jacson's chairman rethink his decision to make Gressham one of the vice-leaders of the Nirvana King guild.

Chairman Jacson himself did not directly approve the insistence but chose to make Gressham again have his position back. Not many know if Gressham actually has a relationship with Jacson's chairman.

If not for his great power perhaps Gressham had long been replaced by another elder, by the time that happened the Jacson chairman could do nothing but agree to it.

“Sister, I'm not worried about Gressham's deputy power. If he dies there then it's an advantage for us to take his place. But the problem for me is that the old fucker brought half of King Nirwana's guild's wealth with him, I'm sure he'll do something bad with it.

“What?!” Joe Lie was obviously surprised by Joe Nie's explanation, he didn't expect Gressham to go that far.

“I will ask some elders to go catch up with him or at least observe the situation there. While here we will make preparations, I fear something bad will happen.”
