Curse Spell

Curse Spell
Mutely

Kayra was silent. He was not ready to open the secret that had been kept in meetings so far.

Mother Neta is desperate. He let out a long sigh before finally deciding to sit beside the sleeping grandmother Sari.

Neta's heart rippled painfully. He could not bear to see Kayra slumped. But Kayra's residence left her unable to do anything. Neta wanted to hug Kayra, crying with her. But right now, it seemed like Kayra only wanted to be alone.

Neta decided to make room for Kayra. Yes his daughter is not ready to open up to him.

Kayra is still sobbing. His nose got stuck because he was crying for so long. His mistake this time was truly fatal. How can the evil spirit come back to master it? He had destroyed the serpent woman in the mirror.

Was the curse not really broken? Right now there was nothing he could do but stay away from Dariel. This time the decision is final.

Kayra fell asleep from exhaustion. In the morning when he woke up, there was already food on the table and a glass of milk.

Kayra got out of her bed. He's headed to the bathroom. Kayra decided to take a bath, her body felt sticky. After the shower, Kayra headed to the balcony. He sat on a bench. Daydreams fly.

Just this time Kayra felt an agonizing excitement in her heart.

His gaze glazed over, recalling the happiness he had just tasted with Dariel. And in a short time he had to take it off.

Neta's mother and Sari's grandmother stood watching Kayra from behind the glass door. Maybe Kayra still needs a little longer to be open to them.

Neta's mother invited Sari's grandmother to leave.

Kayra was unaware of the whereabouts of her mother and grandmother who had been watching her. Kayra went deeper. The reverie brought him deeper and deeper. His body was sucked into a black hole. That's where he heard voices overlapping each other. Leaving a mystical impression of another realm.

Transparent hands flailing in his direction.

"Please...Save me...!" The cry of a shrill voice echoed the scorching suffering and pain.

Kayra. He stuttered. Kayra made herself aware. If he continues to contemplate his misfortune, he will be dragged into another world. And this condition is least liked.

Kayra went inside her room, she picked up a bag and some books. He decided that today he would go to college.

As he got out of the room, his family was gathered in the dining room. They're discussing something. And when they saw Kayra coming down, they fell silent in astonishment.

"Ra... Where are you going, son?" Neta's mother approached Kayra.

"Mother, Rara's going to college." Answer Kayra.

"Son... shouldn't you rest first? So you can recover, son." Neta's mother advised Kayra.

"Kayra to campus Bu," Kayra breaks up. He needs a crowd so he can forget his heart.

"Send by grandfather, Ra..?" Neta's mother was worried her son would face problems. So it's better to let Grandpa Ujang send.

Throughout the journey Kayra chose to remain silent. Throw a look of light out the car glass.

Grandpa Ujang was very worried about his grandson's situation.

"Ra.. later if there's anything immediately contact grandfather ya." Said Grandpa Ujang trying to break the ice between them. Kayra answered only briefly.

"Yes cake." The silence was back between them.

Every now and then, Ujang's grandfather watches Kayra through the rearview mirror. He was increasingly worried because he saw a look of sadness clearly drawn on Kayra's face.

During this time, Ujang's grandfather knew Kayra as a cheerful person. Even though Kayra was in pressure and trouble, never showed her sadness. Kayra can still be cheerful. But this time, his grandson looked very sad. Showing that the problem Kayra faced must have been a very severe problem.

Probably true, what Neta said earlier. Kayra needs time to get her heart set until she is ready to open up to them.

The silence re-energized the rest of their journey. Grandpa Ujang stopped the car right in front of the campus gate. Kayra's coming down. He rushed into the campus without noticing anything in his surroundings. Even when Tia's new best friend calls her name, Kayra doesn't hear her. Makes Tia sting because she ran after him.

"Kay... Just one day I didn't go to college, you forgot about me?" Tia Nyerocos protested. As he manages to catch up and align Kayra's steps.

"Kay... Don't you usually just shut up? What's up?" Tia asked curiously.

"There's nothing, I'm just pms." Kayra said she was lying.

Tia nodded understanding the uncomfortable situation of Kayra. They kept walking towards their classes. Apparently today is the end of the orientation period. All of the maba were given the task of asking for signatures from their seniors.

Fun also happens, because to get signatures from seniors was not easy. Each of the seniors gave a strange mission to the new students. Only this time it feels right to follow the hazing. But Kayra's heart was grievous, making her unable to enjoy this event.

Actually Kayra is lazy to follow this orientation activity. He decided to come to campus just to avoid his family's pity and the shadow of a transparent creature who asked for help. If he wanted to leave now it was very unlikely. He knows for sure, the campus gate is always locked tightly every class starts.

Kayra was forced to take part in this activity. As knowing Kayra's turmoil, Tia tried to help cheer Kayra back up.

In the spirit of 45 Tia took Kayra here and there to get a signature.

The first signature he got from Kak Wisnu majoring in law. He just told Tia and Kayra to sing. Thanks to Tia's poignancy and melodious voice, they managed to get an autograph. There are still hundreds of names in the form that have not been signed. At least they should get nineteen more signatures if they don't want to get punished. Because for Maba who gets a signature of less than twenty is considered as 'Lawbreaker'. The threat is a form of punishment that certainly does not want to be felt by the maba.

Tia clasped Kayra's wrist tightly. Inviting Kayra to go to a group of older boys. Luckily they didn't make things difficult for Kayra and Tia. So easily Kayra and Tia got quite a lot of signatures.

There was also Senior brother who was fad to them. His name is Tika, he told Kayra to hand over a rose to Alex the BEM chairman while saying "I love you" it's his message. A ridiculous order according to Kayra. But he did it eventually too.

Kayra ran over to Alex and handed him the rose. Alex is still busy with the notes in his little book. He ignored Kayra. If only this wasn't an orientation event. Kayra was eager to throw the flower in Alex's face. But he held back. He remained silent for quite a while.

"What's wrong? How silent?" Ask Alex. But Kayra still persisted in silence. To make Alex curious and turn to pay attention to Kayra. Alex took his eyes off the little book he was writing. Alex was immediately stunned to see Kayra's whereabouts.

"You....?"
