"Papa... Dariel is not a weak child. Dariel is brave like Raka's sister. Dad can pick me up when I get home. And papa will see Dariel must be fine."
Little Dariel said. His words warmed Erlangga's heart. A little boy who he thought could do nothing was able to speak wisely.
Erlangga clasped tightly onto Dariel's small hand. "Riel..must promise to keep yourself away from papa ya...!" Pinta Erlangga.
"Ready.." said Dariel eagerly while demonstrating a gesture of respect to his papa. Instantly Erlangga's eyes glazed over, this was the time when he had to dare to take off Dariel. Yeah take it off for Dariel's good. Letting your child grow into an independent person without depending on him or her.
Doing what a father should do to his children. Like jasmin's advice to him last night.
"A mother bird of Rajawali will force her child to learn to fly when she is old enough. Even if the children are lazy to fly, he does not hesitate to destroy the nest. If necessary, he'll push his son to freefall from heights."
Jasmin said as he looked at Erlangga's bead eyes that were fascinated to hear his words. After taking a deep breath, Jasmin continued his words.
"The actions of Rajawali's mother are not to harm her child. But a step to prepare his son to face the difficulties of life. And behold, only the eagle has great power. It can grip and carry prey five times heavier than its body. And the eagle alone can fly over the storm. Strong winds or typhoons were no longer a hindrance to him. It could all be because of her mother's upbringing."
Jasmin deliberately paused her words again to allow time for her husband to digest the illustrations he was given.
"So. pa... Now is the time to train Dariel to be independent. Because it's for the good of our son too." Jasmin said she was closing her husband's advice.
Erlangga was very impressed at Jasmin's advice which was delivered gently. Yes he realized he had not been a good father to Dariel. Because all this time it was not little Dariel who did not want to study independently but he was the one who was too afraid to be far away from his youngest son.
This morning Jasmin let him drive Dariel himself to school. Deliberately giving him exclusive time with his youngest child.
"The chest...Papa. see you." Little Dariel waved at him as he cheerfully dashed around the small entrance into the school gate.
Erlangga woke up from his daydream.
He looked at Dariel who was currently wrapped in bandages. "Yes... Riel, say. I trust you completely, son." Erlangga said.
Dariel took a deep breath. He ventured. He believed that whatever he faced after his father knew his great secret was no longer a problem for him. As long as they support each other.
"Pa... Riel's not a weak kid." Dariel.
"Yes, my son, I believe you are a strong boy. You're a tough kid. Papa's proud of you."
Erlangga pilu. He felt these were Dariel's farewell words. His eyes are already glazed. As much as his energy held all the sadness in his heart.
"Pa.. please open my bandage!" Dariel said seriously.
"Why? Is anyone sick? Let's get a doctor, shall we?" Tanya Erlangga was worried.
"No, Pa. I want papa to open my bandage." Dariel said firmly.
Erlangga tried to believe in her son. He slowly cut the bandage that covered Dariel's arm. Erlangga was stunned, he saw Dariel's smooth arm no wound there. Thread stitches fall off the surface of his skin.
"Riel... how can it be?" Tanya Erlangga.
"How can you?" Erlangga was stunned in disbelief.
"Bring me home pa. Make excuses to take me out of the country." Dariel urged his papa.
"But Riel... How are your other wounds?" Tanya Erlangga was doubtful.
"All my wounds have been healed pa.. later in the house papa will see it." Dariel convinced his father.
"I understand that." Erlangga grasped Dariel's fingers and kissed him.
"Pa.. fix the bandages so they don't get suspicious!" Dariel reminded his father.
Erlangga immediately put Dariel's bandage back together. He tightens the loose bandage and makes the knot tie dead so that the bandage does not come off easily later.
After all was done, Erlangga came out of the room giving instructions to several people.
Erlangga decided to bring Dariel home. He told Dr Andi that Dariel would be taken abroad for treatment.
Without asking the doctor Andi as the head of the hospital immediately prepare the necessary documents. Half an hour later, the documents were ready. He himself handed it over to Erlangga.
That afternoon Dariel was brought home. Makes everyone home amazed. Including her sister, Raka. It was Rakalah who last night carried Dariel from her room to the Ambulance in the front yard.
Dariel's wounds were terrible, almost his entire body was covered in wounds. And when he saw this afternoon Dariel was brought home. Bad prejudice immediately reached his heart.
Last night Raka did not tell in detail the circumstances of Dariel on Keke. He did not want to make Keke more anxious. He even lied to Keke that Dariel was only slightly injured. And now his sister is brought home with all medical devices connected with cables and hoses connected to his body.
Raka immediately helped the paramedics push the Dariel ward towards the living room. Raka's heart skipped a beat, he was very worried about his sister's condition.
Occasionally he observed Dariel's face covered in a partial bandage. Dariel's eyes were tightly shut. Raka's heart felt sad. His sister must be suffering a lot right now.
Erlangga locked the door of the guest room after the three of them were inside. Makes Raka confused.
"Pa... What happened to Riel? He's hurt bad. Why brought home. Wasn't intensive care even brought here?" Raka protest on his papa. He considered papa Erlangga had made a rash decision.
"Riel....." Erlangga called his youngest son. Some time there was no answer.
Raka who saw him was confused by his papa's behavior. Perhaps Erlangga's father was depressed because of his brother's severe condition? Raka knows her papa very well. Often he found Papa Erlangga's attention to Dariel greater than for him. Even to Dariel, Erlangga was extremely possessive.
Although Dariel was already a teenager, papa Erlangga was still very pampering Dariel. And now it is clear that strange things are happening to Erlangga.
Papa Erlangga should be sad because the child he loves is sick. But in the eyes of Erlangga there is a form of happiness that cannot be accepted by Raka. Is that so depressed her papa?
Raka was still letting go when Erlangga called out Dariel's name. Looks like papa Erlangga is trying to wake Dariel up. But when Erlangga shook Dariel's body, Raka immediately put on the body.
"Pa.. don't pa...!"
