Time and time again Kayra glanced at the wall clock. It was nine o'clock but Dariel didn't come. Kayra walked back and forth in the room, occasionally peering through the windowpanes. He didn't see Dariel. He felt uncomfortable living in the room alone especially in the dark - the dark.
"Riel. hurry home." Kayra Gumam. He laid himself on the bed, hiding his whole body in a blanket. The feeling of heat was felt until his whole body was sweating regardless. From that moment his stomach was also crowded with hunger, plus the uncomfortable feeling of holding back urination. Very torturous circumstances. Try if there is a bathroom is certainly not as painful as this.
Kayra tried to close her eyes trying to sleep. Wishing to momentarily forget the discomfort that tormented him. But his stomach felt increasingly sore wrapped around. Instantly he remembered the bitter experience with his stepmother who once held him captive and allowed hunger. Her tears immediately washed down the pillow.
Kayra was not out of thought, it turned out that she was not as strong as she thought. Actually just a little hunger and abandoned Dariel just a few hours have made it baper. He felt loneliness, fear, anxiety, thirst and hunger all coming together.
Kayra could not sleep, many times she glanced at the clockwork as if it was going to poke at her. He sighed and complained in his heart but there was also anxiety there. He was very worried not - nothing bad happened to Dariel. Time seems to be running. Seconds tick slow - slow. Kayra could not wait anymore. He wanted to do something but what?
His body was very sticky by sweat, because all day he only took a shower in the morning. Moreover, he was afraid to turn on the AC or fan. Now he feels very uncomfortable. His sultry and sticky body was also his stomach wrapped around the pain.
Kayra made a decision, first she wanted to refresh her body. Kayra ventured out of Dariel's room. Like a thief, he settles into the bathroom. He only thought because all this time he had never known the location or the road to the bathroom. He chose to walk towards the rows of messes that were brighter lighting. Actually not because he had an accurate estimate, but more because he was afraid to walk into a dark place. Especially after a few bad dreams come to him and all have to do with mysticism and darkness.
Several times Kayra hid in the shadows of trees or buildings, when she heard footsteps or suspicious sounds. Kayra walked back when she felt safe again. He walked past a large open room, probably the dining room because it looked like some of the cutlery was there.
The room looked empty and no one was seen there. Kayra was curious to know what the room really was. He bends his head in. It seems like the new room was left in a hurry because it was seen at a table near the door there were four glasses containing coffee that was still steaming and only two that looked slightly reduced in content. There is a chess board that has been played several steps. Kayra loves chess. He also approached the table.
In one glance he can estimate the best move to win the chess game. His outstretched hand moved the chess pawn. Chess always captivated her heart bringing good memories with her dear father. A moment of tears fell from the end of his eyes remembering the good times he had been through. Kayra gasped and realized, she had to leave the place before anyone saw her.
Kayra finally arrived at the end of the hall and there lined the public bathroom. He also breathed a sigh of relief. Soon he chose the one bathroom that looked the cleanest and immediately took a quick shower. After the shower, he immediately put on a change of clothes. He hoped that when he returned to the room there would be no obstacles.
Kayra walked quickly combing the road that was passed earlier. As he reached the front of the dining room there was a commotion inside. Apparently they fuss over chess games. One of the players did not accept and felt cheated. Almost they fight, fortunately there is one who mediates. They repeated the chess game from the beginning. Kayra stroked her chest grateful that her puffiness was not enough to make people fight. He walked quickly, wanting to get to Dariel's room immediately.
His breath gasping. Kayra was very happy after arriving at Dariel's room safely. Soon he kept his dirty clothes and toiletries in the corner of the room. Kayra made the bed. He remembered that there was still one leftover doughnut studded with cheese, he immediately finished it. A bottle of mineral water was immediately gulped. Treating his thirst from noon. Kayra stroked her stomach which felt full. Dinner is very delicious even if only two donut seeds and a bottle of mineral water.
Kayra put her body on the bed. Trying to make peace with the darkness in her room. He tried to paint whatever was in his mind and put it on a colorless canvas. Kayra paints in the empty air creating colorless paint strokes. Kayra imagines a flower garden and a small river that drains clear water.
He erased the image he had made by waving his hand as if removing the blackboard. Then he drew a heart with his fingers and wrote Dariel's name there. His heart was very comforted, there was a smile adorning his lips. Especially when the memory of the first, second meeting and other meetings with Dariel that made his heart warm. Dariel was her first love that made her fall in love.
"Riel. I love you so much.... Don't ever leave me." Kayra's sigh whispered in the cold air beside her. Kayra imagined Dariel lying next to her. When imagining there was Dariel nearby, it made Kayra feel at ease. Until he was not aware, he slept in his sleep and beautiful dreams.
At midnight felt a caress in Kayra's hair. It made Kayra sting and instantly wake up. In front of him Dariel sat on the bedside, looking at and stroking his hair. But seeing the appearance of Dariel made Kayra shuffled away until her body stuck to the head of the bed. Kayra shivered in fear.
"Riel... a.. what's ter... so...pa...... on you? Tanya Kayra stutters.
"Rara. I'm fine...."
