The Keeper

Kayra's face instantly blushed red filled with anger. He feels harassed.

Rino, who was standing behind him, suddenly heard his grandmother's voice.

"Remember the lesson my grandmother taught me!" The voice of Grandma Ipah was heard whispering in her ear. Making Rino startled and turn towards the source of the voice. He could not find his grandmother near them.

Rino tries to find her grandmother with the corner of her eyes where they last parted. He saw his grandmother there. Once again the voice of Grandma Ipah sounded urgent.

"Do your duty Rino!"

Rino immediately held Kayra's hand. He also recited a mantra he had memorized out of his head. Rino felt nothing had happened.

But something big happened to Kayra. Kayra's anger faded away. He felt a chill fill his chest cavity. Makes Kayra forget the event that just stirred up her anger. He rushes past the tattooed man and looks for an empty bench for himself and Rino. Leaving that thug who looked like a dazed person.

The bus started to slowly leave the terminal. Leaving Ipah's grandmother with all the mysteries that covered her.

Kayra clasped Rino's fingers tightly. "Thank you, son, for taking good care of my mother."

"Rino just did as grandma taught." Rino was proud.

Kayra was very amazed at Rino's intelligence even though she was still a youngster could already be a guard for him. The presence of Rino nearby, making sure Kayra does not do anything strange. Kayra looked out the window of the speeding bus. The trees ran away. His heart was again filled with turmoil. What would happen if Rino wasn't strong enough to suppress his anger? He really wasn't ready for chaos like ten years ago.

There was a trembling beginning to fill the recesses of his heart. Is the move he is taking right now the right decision? Does she have to fight for her love for Dariel and foil her husband's engagement plan with his stepbrother? Kayra sighed harshly.

Kayra turned her attention to Rino who was already stumbling to hold back the drowsiness. Every now and then Rino's head hit the glass, making Kayra feel sorry for him. Stretched out his palm to hold Rino's head not hit by the glass back.

The bus that Kayra was riding on began to slow down as it entered the capital. The traffic started to snarl. It's getting dark. Kayra started to fret, what if she came late?

"Rino.. wake up son, we gotta get off the bus." Kayra shook Rino's shoulder trying to wake her from her deep sleep.

"Mama... Have we arrived?" Ask Rino. He opened his eyes and looked around. The bus passengers started to get off.

"Not yet.we have to take a new taxi home." Kayra helped bring Rino's bag. They rushed down from the public bus.

Kayra was very confused when she was in a very large bus terminal. He circulated his gaze looking for a taxi that could take them to the big house of the Erlangga family. Until a friendly man offers taxi services on line. Without a doubt, Kayra and Rino followed the man towards the black Avansa car parked far enough away.

Kayra immediately mentioned the address they were going to. The driver gave assurances they would get to their destination in less than an hour, as he was well acquainted with the area Kayra and Rino would head to.

Rino looked astonished as he got into the car. For him, this was his first experience in a comfortable car. He unceasingly noticed the parts of the car that attracted his heart. Kayra just smiled at her son's behavior.

The driver was not angry when Rino fiddled with the car window opener even offered Rino some candy wrappers that he immediately took and ate. Along the way, the man told me a lot about his happy little family and he also had a family from Omnya who lived near Kayra's destination. The conversation was quite warm. Even Rino laughed when the man told a funny story.

Kayra awoke, coinciding with a pair of hands pulling her firmly.

"Let go... What do you want to do?!" Ronta Kayra tried to escape.

The driver fiercely rebuked Kayra to obey him. Kayra was pulled away from the car.

"Sweet if you want to obey, then your son will be fine. But if you fight back, I won't hesitate to kill your son! Hurry here!"

Kayra did not expect that the friendly man she met at the terminal was a bad person?

"Please don't keep me away from my son!" Kayra said getting agitated. He was very afraid of something terrible happening outside of his consciousness.

"Serve me, and then you can meet your son!" The man had already started to unbuckle his belt and trousers.

There was an inner struggle in Kayra's heart. It cannot be angry. He mustn't hate this bad guy.

"Please don't keep me away from my son." Kayra crying cribbing.

"Whispering...!" The man pushed Kayra to her knees over the grass. Kayra closed her eyes, she was very afraid of seeing the bad things that would happen.

The driver's laughter sounded terrible. Making Kayra's feathers instantly bristled. The man grew increasingly desperate to see Kayra's resignation. Kayra was terrified of what was going to happen to her. If you fight, the man must be dead but if he stays silent, he must be the victim of the man's crime.

A while Kayra waited, but nothing happened. The atmosphere of the night felt lonely without any sound, even crickets and grasshoppers did not make the slightest sound.

Kayra ventured to open her eyes. There was a horrible sight before his eyes. The man who was about to do evil to her was already lifeless. His pair of eyes bulged and his tongue stuck out.

Kayra was terrified, she immediately ran towards the car.

"Rino.. Let's get up, kid.we gotta get going." Kayra's scream woke Rino who never opened her eyes.

Kayra reached for Rino's body and carried it on her back. While the other hand snatched Rino's school bag containing clothes and school books.

Kayra hurriedly took Rino away from that place. Not long after a car stopped near Kayra.

"What's up, ma'am..?" Ask a couple from the car.

"My son fainted. I need to get her to the hospital!" Kayra shouted in panic.

"Let's go in, we'll take you to the nearest clinic!" The woman came out and opened the car door for Kayra.

"Where's mom from? Why are you in this lonely place?" Ask the curious man.
