Chapter 10: The Return of Evan

Caitlin and her best friend decided to go home because the sky was now dark, when Caitlin would soon get into her car stopped because her hands were pulled by Noah. He felt that Noah was still worried about him, very visible from the gaze of Noah who seemed to not believe him when he said that he was fine.

"Noah, I'm really fine" said Caitlin smiling kindly to Noah.

"You have to promise to call me if anything happens to you, you understand?" Pinta Noah with her sincere face that shows how much care Noah cares for Caitlin.

Caitlin nodded her head at what her best friend said, to be honest today Caitlin felt very guilty for choosing to meet her best friend, she felt guilty because she made her two best friends become very worried.

"I understand Noah, thank you and Kylie for always caring for me" Caitlin smiled and hugged her best friend.

"All right, I'm going home, yeah" Caitlin got in the car and immediately drove away leaving Noah who was still seeing Caitlin's car getting away.

"I'll never make you sad Caitlin, I won't allow anyone to hurt you" Noah said, staring at Caitlin's increasingly invisible car. Soon Kylie who had just gone to the toilet came to Noah and invited him home.

Aaron is now home earlier than usual, the work that piled up earlier he has completed very quickly. It wasn't difficult for Aaron to finish his job even though it was a lot. Aaron is very used to it, because he is a very hard worker.

When Aaron entered the mansion, he did not see Caitlin at all. Usually when Aaron came home from the office Caitlin always seemed busy with his activities in the kitchen and was always eager to serve dinner for him, but now he did not see the woman there.

Aaron also chose to go straight up to his room, seeing no Caitlin there. He glanced at the toilet in the room and found no sign of Caitlin inside. Where's that woman? Think Aaron

But Aaron immediately threw away the thought of Caitlin, and immediately rushed to clean up. It was a very exhausting day, he thought.

After Aaron finished cleaning himself, his stomach felt very hungry, and he immediately rushed towards the kitchen. But again he did not see Caitlin there, he immediately opened the refrigerator and took some ingredients that he could use to cook.

The sound of the main door of the luxury house was opened, and Caitlin who walked inside, but after Caitlin closed the door Caitlin immediately went up to enter her room, Aaron is increasingly confused with Caitlin, but does not care about the woman. He continued cooking because his stomach was getting louder.

Caitlin rested for a while on the balcony outside her room. He still looks like this morning, staring at the view outside the balcony but with his empty gaze. Honestly, he did not want to get stuck in his mind about what happened to him.

"I'd better take a shower and clean myself up to feel fresher" Caitlin said and rushed to the bathroom.

Aaron entered the room while Caitlin was taking a bath, he sat on the sofa of his room and began to turn on a large television in his room. Caitlin who was busy cleaning herself realized that Aaron was now in the room, and again made her think about how he would be.

Caitlin came out of the bathroom in long green sage pajamas, the woman looks very beautiful with her face is now plain without make up. Aaron is now playing his phone on the bed. Caitlin also felt her body was very uncomfortable also lying next to Aaron with the bolted barrier.

There was no conversation between them, only the sound of the television that had been turned on by Aaron. Caitlin tries to close her eyes, but Caitlin's phone sounds so loud she starts and soon sees who's calling at night like this.

"Hallo!" Caitlin said to the person who called her.

"Hallo good night baby, does papa bother you?" Ask the guy on the phone.

"Father, Caitlin thinks who's calling" Caitlin said with a smile, she was so happy that since she married Aaron her father contacted her again.

"Dear dear, papah longs for this beautiful papah's daughter" Simon said and made Caitlin smile.

"This father, Caitlin also misses mamah and papah very much, you guys are fine right?" Ask Caitlin.

"You don't have to worry about us, son, we're fine. How are you doing and is your marriage to Aaron okay?" Ask Simon.

Caitlin who heard her father's question now glanced at Aaron but the man was still busy with his phone regardless of Caitlin.

"Caitlin is fine, and our marriage is very happy" replied Caitlin glanced back at Aaron who still did not care.

Caitlin laid her body back down next to Aaron.

"So my papah called," Caitlin told Aaron, but as Caitlin's expectations of Aaron only nodded.

Caitlin closed her eyes, hoping for a dream tonight. Soon after, Aaron closed his eyes as well.

Seen as a man walking, the man looked like a confused person. He walked to a club in Jakarta. Evan, yes the man is Evan Caitlin's future husband who chose to run away when the marriage and Caitlin began.

When he entered a club he immediately approached his friend named James. James is a wealthy businessman engaged in property. Now Evan is sitting together with his friend.

"Evan, how are you?" James asked while giving Evan a bottle of water.

"I'm not doing well, James, I came here because I need you" Evan answered, receiving a bottle of water that James had given him.

"You need my help? Did I hear Van wrong?" James asked with a confused face.

"No! You didn't hear James wrong. I really need your help this time, " Evan said with a sip of a drink.

"What really happened to you, Evan?" James asked the increasingly confused, because Evan had never asked for help from him before.

"My parents blocked all my credit cards James, so far I have absolutely no money" Evan said.

"How can you?" Ask James

"You know I wasn't betrothed and forced to marry a woman I didn't know about?" Evan asked, James just nodded. "On the day of my marriage to that woman, I chose to run away with my lover. And since then my parents have started blocking all credit cards and all the facilities I have" Evan explained in great detail to James.

"What can I do to help you?" Ask James

"Can you give me a loan of money?" Evan asked James. "Fifty Million only, I promise to return it to you immediately" Evan continued.

"Before I apologized Van, my company is currently down and not running smoothly. It seems I can't help you this time" James said patting Evan on the shoulder.

Evan nodded and left James and left the club. As Evan was walking in the car park, he suddenly hit a beautiful woman. When Evan sees and intends to apologize to the woman, Evan immediately runs away from the woman, but his intention is thwarted by the woman. Yes, the woman is Grace, her sister's ex-lover, Evan was shocked when he saw Grace because he was afraid Grace told her whereabouts to Evan's parents or to Aaron.

"You don't have to fear me Evan!" Grace." said."I'm not going to tell you where you are" Grace continued.

"Are you really not going to tell my family Grace?" Evan asked in panic.

Grace just nodded. "Why are you here but not taking your fancy car, Evan?" Ask Grace.

"All the facilities and all my credit cards have been blocked by my parents, so I have nothing now" Evan replied.

Evan tells Grace everything that happened in detail without anyone missing. Grace smiled and whispered something in Evan's ear. Evan just nodded.

"If you succeed, I'll give you a lot of money" Grace smiled triumphantly.

"Alright," replied Evan agreeing.

Evan and Grace split up and left the club.
