Chapter 84: Ghost Kingdom in Tourist Attractions

Tata smiled and held Nara's hand. Ari knew, Toha and Astri must have been mostly kidding themselves. Being a Hero, it seems that he will not treat Nara well. Ari sees Tata and Nara's way

“He was there Ra,” Ari pointed towards Tata who was still standing in his place.

Tata was about to head towards Ari, but he looked hard to move. Like Nara, Ari started to panic. For a long time he could see many hands holding Tata. The hands are hairy and black-nailed. Without a second thought Ari immediately ran towards Tata.

Ari looks over at Nara. It seemed that now Nara could not see herself either. But Ari has to go after Tata. Because now Tata looks like he's struggling. His body was drawn backwards.

“Tata!” Ari screamed in panic. He tried to speed up his run.

“Ari!” Tata extended her hand towards Ari.

Ari kept running after Tata. Samar Ari could see behind Tata there was a temple-like building. Ari and Tata are close. Ari tried to reach Tata's hand. With the rest of his strength Ari can hold the fingertips of Tata. Ari clasped Tata's finger tightly and tried to pull it. Until they both fell. Ari's plan is trying to get up. He checked Tata. There are some red marks on Tata's arms and hands.

“Tata, are you okay?” ask Ari worriedly. Ari knew, the red marks in Tata because there were hands holding there.

“I'm fine Ri...” replied Tata with a raucous voice.

Ari helps Tata to stand up. With their bodies still staggering, they looked around. A light enveloped them. There are big trees around. Not far from them there is a temple building that is so

large. Among the temple clusters perched figures like apes. Their eyes are red. And the red circles are striking Ari and Tata. Ari and Tata retreated a bit, as the figures were already moving closer. They crawl around Ari and Tata. Such ape-like figures were like smelling something. Like there's an interesting smell they're looking for.

“Tata, your necklace?” ask Ari to Tata.

Tata showed a necklace still around her neck. Ari was relieved and she remembered Belinda's words. Those creatures don't target themselves. They're after Tata. They like the smell of Tata but they can't see Tata.

“Ri, look...” in an anxious tone, Tata told Ari.

And Ari could see, behind the figures that were surrounding them, there was one large figure with dense fur and long curved fangs. His eyes were round and wide, fiery red, glaring at Ari and Tata.

“We have to get out of here Ta,” hiss Ari while holding Tata's hand.

Ari remembered her grandfather's words. Several times he tried to wake up, as if he was now sleeping. Several times the figures disappeared from before him. But at that moment, Tata was not next to him. And

when he saw those figures again, they were already very close. It seems they already know where Tata is.

“Ta! Imagine this is a dream! And you have to wake up Ta!” Ari looked at Tata seriously.

Tata nodded. He tried what Ari said. But still can't. While the hands of the figures began to flail. Ari and Tata must step back. But they can't go any further. Behind was already a few figures whose hands were flailing about.

Some people wearing traditional clothes are sounding traditional musical instruments. And it seemed like the figures were afraid of the sounds. In the crowd Ari saw Nara, Wira, Toha, Astri, and Mr. Riza. Their faces looked worried.

“We have to get there Ta,” Ari pointed to the crowd behind.

Ari and Tata took a quick step there. They don't look back anymore. When close to the crowd, people could see Ari and Tata. Nara was the first to embrace Tata. Wira, Toha and Astri also welcome Ari and Tata.

“Ri, why not?” ask Toha.

“No pa pa Ha,” Reply Ari.

“Emang what's Ri?” ask Wira. He's already wearing his ring.

“There is a ghost kingdom there,” Ari explained.

Ari looked back. Want to show something to the hero. But Ari didn't see what he called the ghost kingdom just now. He didn't see the trees. Nor did he see the large temple building. All he saw was an abandoned hotel building that seemed to have been unused for a long time.
