Comploters Not Afraid of Ghosts

Comploters Not Afraid of Ghosts
Chapter 6: Gem + Harindra = Sun

It rained this afternoon. Ari and Tata looked at the lights

who fell on the streets. The meatballs stall was deserted. Just Ari and Tata sitting down

the corner. That place seems to belong to them. Especially after really

no communication for a few days. This meeting is like a medicine

like rain that doused the grass of the streets. When finished with meatballs

their favorite, long time silent. Unthinkable about the things that

they always talk about.

“Eh, whose full name are you anyway?” sound Slowly break

dumbness.

“O yes, we have not known ya,” Ari smiled loosely a little

joking. He also felt strange, all this time they did not know his full name

respectively.

“My name is Harindra,” Ari extends her hand.

Tata welcome it,” Day... who?” tata Tanya is a little amused

because he was difficult to say it or because the sound of rain was so heavy in the

out there.

Ari took out her little book and pencil. He wrote

his name is big there.

HARINDRA

“Whose name are you?” now Ari asked back.

Tata reached out her hand,” my name is Gem,”

Ari also welcomed Tata's hand. Then Tata took a pencil

Ari and write his name big under the writing of Ari.

GEMS

They both laughed. Amused by their behavior

by oneself. Then Tata observed the length of their writing in Ari's book. He took a pencil

Ari and began circling Ari's name in the HARI section. Then he circled his name on

EYE PARTS. He added + sign and = sign. Then he wrote it big

at the bottom.

SUNS

Long they both observe Ari's book that opens at the table.

This time it was not a tingly feeling. But they feel there is something special

by their names.

The rain also subsided. The sun began to rise behind the rest

cloudy. 1 hour passed felt still less for Ari and Tata to meet.

“Ari, we will always meet here right?” tata lirih

the rest of their time.

“Iya,” Ari replied short

“Until anytime?” ask Tata. She smiled a little. Pertin

the question is too ridiculous.

“Until any time.” Ari answered seriously.

“Ntar SMA where are you going?” Tata still thinks if it can

meet Ari at High School. “I want to enter SMA favorite.”

“I also want to go in there,” Ari replied quickly.

“Totally?” this time Tata seriously looked at Ari.

“Totally. My dad is a teacher there. He's a physics teacher. Now

again proposed to be Principal.”

“We will always support each other right?” Tata Eye

sparkle.

“Iya, we will support each other,” Ari looked into those eyes fixed.

Then Tata took out her diary. He showed me the writing

last time to Ari. Ari read it seriously.

“The mothers who wear the umbrella have entered the house?” ask

Ari. Tata's diary is still in his hands.

“Iya, on the terrace. He often left his umbrella on the porch.

My mother always told the maid to throw the umbrella. Long time so nyebelin.

He was afraid he was going in and out of Dalem.” Answer Tata. There was anxiety on his face.

“You anyway, yesterday-yesterday was considered.”

“Iya anyway.”

“If he comes again cuekin aja.”

“Iya.”

Then Ari reached into something in her bag. But he seems a little

hesitate.

“There's a new image?” ask Tata.

“Iya. But this is too serem,” replied Ari.

“Where I see,” Tata feels they've promised to

mutually support.

Ari took out a picture of a woman whose tongue was sticking out

length. He gave it to Tata.

“Every malem he went in and out of my mom's room,” said Ari.

Tata holds Ari's image. He feels creepy. But he's holding it.

“You're scared huh?” Tata returned Ari's image.

“Ngak too anyway. I'm just worried about my mom,” Ari

put the picture into the bag, then he saw his watch,” uh, it's been a clock

this way, your driver ntar nyariin not?”

Tata saw his watch,” O, yes. Let's go back,” Tata

quickly enter the diary.

After paying the meatballs, they tiptoed

through the rest of the rain, leaving their meeting place.

It's been two nights Ari woke up to the smell of burning wires. And

like the nights before he caught that tongue-stretched woman again.

But not as early as Ari saw it. The woman just passed in front of him and

disappeared into the kitchen. After that, his father always got up and went to his room

bathing due to coughing and vomiting. And his father had not been for two days

I can teach because of illness. The next day his father went to the hospital to be delivered

her mother's. The doctor said Mr. Ari was just exhausted, just needed rest. But

what happens is that his father often does not want to eat, has difficulty sleeping and sometimes

looks like a dazed person alone in his room. Until one night

after the same incident, Ari heard her parents fighting.

Then her mother entered her room and collapsed beside Ari.

“Why Ma?” ari asked with half-sleeping eyes.

“Mama wants to sleep here aja, afraid of papa transmission,” replied mama

Ari while fixing her blanket.

Ari continued her sleep but her eyes were not closed. Him

The next night Ari slept well. The cable smell burned

not approached. At the end of the night, his father

woke him. Ari woke up while rubbing her eyes.

“Ari, sorry Papa yes,” said Mr. Ari Iirih as if he did not want to

sounds like someone else.

“What's Pa?” ari asked confusedly.

“Sorry Papa yes, you want to apologize Papa right?”

Ari nodded. He saw his face pale. That face

skinny now. Eyes sunken. Her hair and mustache were not well maintained.

“Sorry Papa if you misjudge you,” said Mr. Ari

any more. Then he rubbed Ari's head and moved out of the room.

Ari only watched his father who walked without

expression out of his room. Lama Ari thought of his father to sleep

put him to bed again.

The day fell when Ari just arrived home from school, Ari

he heard his mother quarreling in their room. Not as usual, though,

their voices are so loud. Then his mother came out of the room

suitcase.

“Ari pack your things as necessary, we go home

grandma,” said Ari's mother once saw Ari in the living room.

Ari was confused. She wanted to ask but her mother had

bring him another suitcase. Ari packed her things. Her mother's coming

helps to be quick. Ari saw her mother's eyes bruised with tears. Occasional

his mother held back his urge. Ari couldn't have asked. He will just follow

mother's will. While passing through the middle room, Ari's steps were restrained. She kissed

the burning smell again. This time the smell was clear. Ari approached the room

his parents because he felt the smell was coming from inside there. That room

enclosed. His father is inside. And it's broad daylight.

“Ari fast!” Ari's mother screamed. He's at the door

homehouse.

Ari was chasing her mother. He saw there was fear in

mother's eyes. Then they walked quickly down the street looking for a taxi. Ari menenteng

suitcase bag. He's still in his school uniform. And he worries about

his daddy.

This morning Ari had to go to school early in the morning. Because home

grandma Ari is far from the city center. But this is the day Ari is looking forward to.

Today's therapy schedule. He's meeting Tata. Go home from school, he went straight

change shirt. Distance Ari's grandmother's house to the clinic even further. But Ari is not

cared. When Ari wanted to say goodbye to her mother, she found her mother sitting

sitting in the front room. He still holds his phone. Her tears are dripping

but his view is flat.

“Mama, what's wrong? ari asked worriedly.

“Papa you, Ri,” replied his mother restrained.

“Papa why?”

“Papa you died.”

“Papa's dead? Died how?” Ari is not

believing.

“Yes, papa you died in her room,” looks like Ari's mother

can't continue his words. He wanted to say something but his lips felt

heavy.

Ari quickly took a seat because his legs felt limp. Still

he looked at his mother sitting in front of him. His mother's eyes are still open.

Her father died in her room. His mother's words were still on

her head. After the events he knew lately, he still couldn't

believe that his father died. His mind now seems not to

find the base end.

This afternoon, in the meatball stalls visitors have begun to crowded.

Tata has glanced at his watch dozens of times. The one that awaits it does not come

come by. Some visitors who did not get to the bench glanced at it because of Tata

I sat there a long time ago and didn't order anything. He looked at his cell phone for a long time.

He was gathering his courage to contact Ari. She's already

thinking of a plan to remove his notifications so that his mother doesn't know. Number

Ari, she has typed. When calling, the number always cannot be reached.

Ten minutes passed, Tata was already desperate. He left the meatball stall

with an uncertain feeling.

Ari's mother would hardly attend her husband's funeral if

not forced by other relatives. And Ari feels her mother is hiding something

about the death of his father. 2 days after that Ari's mother was sick. Neither did Ari

she attended school to care for and accompany her mother. They plan to sell the house

his daddy. These few days Ari and her mother are busy taking care of the move. And therapy

Ari also had to stop because there was no more financing. This afternoon Ari

visiting his father's grave. Until the rain fell, he was still standing there.

He did not know how his father died. But he knows who

cause his father to die. Until whenever he'll find the creature. At

when it rains, he promises to himself. Because what is in

his heart was now just a burning grudge.

The meatballs stall was deserted due to the heavy rain out there. Only

Sit alone in the corner. He hoped someone would emerge from the water

ahead of him. Accompany him at a time like this. He held his diary. Almost

1 Hour he waited. But to her surprise, two children in SMU clothes appeared in

ahead of him. A pair of teenagers were sitting in front of him in full torn clothes

blood and flat face, no nose, no mouth, no eyes.

“You what you guys!” spontaneous Tata screaming. Then he ran

exit stall.

 “Neng, wait neng!”

the sound of the meatballs calling to him.

Tata held back his steps. He saw the man following him at

the rain.

“So you saw my son?” ask the father.

Tata did not understand what the father meant.

“My son died in a motorcycle accident with his girlfriend,”

said the father again.

Spontaneous Tata leave the father. He kept running in

through rain. Because now his heart is broken.
