Comploters Not Afraid of Ghosts

Comploters Not Afraid of Ghosts
Chapter 81: Ari and his Mother's Suffering

Ari stands on the sidewalk in front of the school with other students who want to go home. The bus he was waiting for had not arrived. Among the street noise, Ari heard her phone ring. It turns out there was a call from Tata. Ari immediately picked it up.

“Halo Ta, where are you?” Ask Ari for a moment.

“Ri, try you to deket fence deh..” Pinta Tata on Ari's phone.

Ari was confused. He also walked to the school fence. From there Ari can see the parking area that has begun to empty. And not far from where he stood, Ari saw Tata's car. The back window is open. Tata was seen inside waving her hand at Ari. The other hand still holds the cell phone. From far away Ari could see Tata's cheerful smile.

“So I saw you on the sidewalk, so I called you straight away.” Tata's voice was so carefree on Ari's phone.

“Set your mama where?” ari asked worriedly.

“My mom is still inside, still chatting with other moms,” Tata replied.

“Ta, congratulations yes you can rank two.”

“You dong Ri who survived, you will get a rank of one.”

“Kok you know Ta?”

“Nara was the message to me. So dong later we go to the favorite university..”.

“Iya.. So anyway Ta..”.

“Kok kayak not sure that's Ri? Sure dong... You can definitely Ri..”.

“Iya Ta.”

“Appointment?”

“Promise Ta.”

“For what?”

“Mmm... For your sake dong..”.

Ari wasn't really sure. Can rank one Ari still do not believe. Ari has always tried to study hard. But Ari was happy to make Tata cheerful with his promises. From far away Ari saw Tata looking at him with a wider smile.

Uh Ri, said you guys have started therapy huh?”

“Therapy?”

“Iya Ri, many have seen you brought Mr. Riza to the cellar.”

“Mmm…

“Keep how Ri..”

“Mmm..

“Ya what is Ri..”.

“Mmm... Actually we can not say the same to anyone Ta...”

“So you don't want to tell me Ri?”

“Ya the command is Ta..”

“….”

“Ta, you're okay, right?”

“You know not Ri..”

“Why Ta?”

“If there is something you keep secret to me.. I feel like I lost you..”.

Then Tata looks to take down his phone. From far away Ari can see the changes in Tata's face that I care about.

“Ta... Hello Ta.. Ta, pick up the phone...”.

Tata was still staring at Ari with her dear face. Ari tries to give a filling with his hand so that Tata will pick up her phone. Because right now it is Ari who is afraid of losing Tata. Before long, Tata picked up his phone again.

“Ta, I'll tell you everything, but promise me you won't tell anyone if I tell you, including to Toha, Wira equals Nara.”

“Yes, I promise Ri.”

Then Ari told Tata all about meeting them in the cellar.

“So you met Kak Karin who wrote a book about the indigo child?” ask Tata.

“Iya Ta's. Karin is friendly and patient. And he knew that I would see something flying around the school.”

“Something that flies?”

“Iya Ta's. Earlier in the school yard I saw a fireball fly.”

“Serem also yes Ri.. But there will be people padepokan.. there is Bang Yudha who magarin our school.”.

“Iya heck Ta.. But I'm a little unsure..”.

“Why?”

“Because this fireball can fly..”.

Then Ibu Tata was seen walking to the parking area with a group of other mothers. Ari and Tata quickly ended their conversation. It just so happened that the bus that Ari was going to ride on had already come. Ari hurriedly took the bus. When the bus started to walk, among the people lined up on the bus, Ari could see Tata's car in the parking lot. And Tata was still seen in the car looking towards Ari.

***

Tonight Ari is at her desk. Not to study, but to sort out the package books to return to school early next semester. Ari glanced at the window of her room a few times. Outside the rain started to fall. Ari wasn't surprised if anyone would come tonight. He's already started to smell jasmine. Ari felt, one figure was already sitting neatly on her bed.

“Belinda...” Ari tries to say hello while still continuing his work sorting books.

“Many are heading to the hospital,” Slow Belinda said.

Ari knew what Belinda meant was her school.

“Lewat highway?” Ari tried asking while still sorting out the book.

“They want war,” Belinda's voice is louder this time.

Ari stopped picking up books.

“How much?” ask Ari. This time it was serious.

“Hundreds,” Reply Belinda.

Ari also stood facing Belinda, finding a sharp look of her blue red eyes. Hundreds of figures willing to war towards his school make Ari began to seriously face Belinda.

“They are from the port?” ask Ari seriously.

Belinda nodded. His eyes are still sharp.

“Already on login,” asked Ari full of worries.

Ari now knows, the fence made by people is really impenetrable.

“So there are dead in the hospital,” said Belinda who started to stand looking towards the window.

Tata accidentally killed a four-legged, hand-held ghost in a computer lab. Ari kills the ghost of a long-fanged one-eye while saving Tata in a chemical lab. And the Hero with his ring got the bat-winged ghost killed.

“Who to look for in a hospital?” Ari tries to ask questions as Belinda starts walking towards the window.

“Which I know,” replied Belinda followed by giggling laughter.

Ari was used to that laugh.

“You know the fireballs that are in the hospital?” ask Ari again before Belinda gets to the window.

Belinda turned to Ari with her sharp gaze. It seems he doesn't know what Ari's asking.

“You coming?” Belinda stretched out her hand.

Ari shook her head. Belinda's face pouted. Then he went through the window. Not long after Ari's room door opened.

“Ari who were you talking to?” ask Ari's mother who is already at the door.

“Mmm... Same Tata Ma... Last Phone call..” replied Ari nervously. She doesn't want her mother to worry.

Ari's mother sat on the bench. He knows Ari lied to calm his mother.

“How is Tata?” ask Ari's mother.

“Good, Ma,” replied Ari while cleaning up the book again.

“When does he want to play here again?” ask Ari's mom,”Say, Mama misses Tata.”

“He's hard to here Ma,” cetus Ari.

“Again Mama would like to see Tata.. Before..” Ibu Ari does not continue her words.

“Before what Ma?” Ari glanced at her mother. Seeing the sweat on his forehead.

“Ya... Before Mama bosen cook for you,” replied Ari's mother.

“Apaan hell Ma...” Ari takes her mother not seriously.

“Mama want to prosper again,” rather difficult mother Ari standing.

“Mama should rest,” said Ari who just finished tidying up his book.

“Soalah Sunday to be taken seams,” Ari's mother tried to move her legs. But only a few steps did he fall.

“Mama!” Ari immediately approached his mother, memapah and brought to his mother's room.

Ari put her mother to bed. Then she took her mother's medicine and a glass of water. After taking the medicine Ari's mother who was pale, now looks a little fresh.

“Udah, anyway now Mama must rest, can not prosper first,” said Ari.

“But Sunday the seams will be taken Ri.”

“Say Mama is sick, ask her schedule to be pushed back.”

“How can I like Ri.”

“Can be Ma, than Mama get sick.”

“Iya Ri.. Yes.”

Then Ari fixed the blanket that covered her mother's body.

“Ri, know not?” said Ari's mother,”Tast night Mama dream of your grandfather again.”

“Daddy dream how to Ma?”

“She wears the clothes she used to wear, in her hands is a flower, keep her smile to Mama. Mama's lifelong feeling has never seen your grandfather smile like that.”

Ari was stunned looking at her mother. Ari remembered the meeting with her grandfather at that time.

“Why Ri?”

“Mmm... Ma.. Actually Ari never met Grandpa...”.

“When Ri?”

“Ya.. two weeks ago was Ma.. Ari time to Papa.” grave.

Ari's mother didn't seem too surprised. I don't know when, Ari's grandfather will definitely meet his grandson.

“Kakek seems to want to apologize to Mama... Same grandma too,” Ari said.

Ari's mother nodded slowly. Instead he felt relieved, Ari had met his grandfather. Since he knew Ari was different from the other children, Ari indeed had to meet his grandfather.

“Ri... Anyone will be your soul mate.. Mau it Tata or others... You must care for him.”.

Ari just looked at her mother. He knows, his mother does not want him like her grandfather who has wasted his grandmother.”

“But Mama know kok.. Mama see you care so much Tata... You are a combination of papa you and your grandfather.”.

Ari's mother looked at her son. One day these different children will grow up.

“Ri, Mama's promise. Whatever makes you different from others, make it your advantage. If you feel you have an advantage, you should use it to help others.”

“Iya, Ari promise Ma...”

Ari began to move from her mother's bed. But something he wanted to tell his mother.

“Ma.. Ari knows Ma, papa committed suicide because he was influenced by something.”.

“Iya Ri.. Mama please do too. Mama knows very well how papa. There's no way papa could kill himself.”

Ari's mother is grateful Ari has advantages. Even though Ari's mother doesn't know and she doesn't want to know, she hopes Ari knows what's really going on.

“Mama wants to know what happened?” ask Ari. The ghost of the tongue stuck out was now on his head.

Ari's mother shook her head slowly.

“Free Ri, it won't return your papa.”

Ari remembered her grandfather's words. For now he will pay more attention to his mother. He wants his mother to be healthy again. He will try to forget the ghost that is always in his head.

“Ma... Mama miss Papa?” Ari.

Ari's mother looked at her son. It was hard for him to answer his son's questions. His eyes began to glaze over.

“Every day Ri... “ the voice of Ari's mother restrained,” Mama always remember papa... Mama always felt, papa it is still there. And if mama realized... Mama so feel lost..”.

Ari hugged her mother. She felt the sadness her mother felt. No longer because of sewing work problems that made his mother less healthy. But the sense of loss for his father who always wrestled his mother. Ari understood what it was like to lose someone. And he could not imagine, what if one day he had to lose Tata.
