CHRONICLE GODSFALL

CHRONICLE GODSFALL
Waves One after One

Cloudhawk raised his short sword up high, then charged straight into the battlefield! The surrounding people could not help but feel flabbergasted; was the child crazy? Not even the outpost guards would be able to defeat the rotwolves in a one-on-one fight. This child was fourteen or fifteen years old, whereas there were ten rotwolves swirling around Woola. For him to get into the mix was tantamount to suicide!

Although the boy was lucky enough to shoot and kill an alpha rotwolf, he did not seem to be a very skilled fighter. Two of the rotwolves saw the human youth charging towards them, and they immediately jumped towards the arrogant and arrogant creature.

This kid is dead! This is what everyone in the surrounding area thought.

Cloudhawk suddenly accelerated, shooting forward like an arrow from a bow as he stabbed forward with a two-handed punch. His short sword pierced right into the side of the rotwolf, and he then raised his leg and kicked the rotwolf away from him. As the second rotwolf leapt towards him, Cloudhawk delivered a punch right into the rotwolf's head. His thin body unleashed a completely disproportionate force as his punch completely smashed the rotwolf to the ground.

Rotwolf took out a few low yips as he immediately crawled to his feet, then slipped backwards. All of his hair stood straight up, as if it had seen something truly frightening to him.

Both of Cloudhawk's eyes were blood red, and his veins bulged out from his body. He seemed to have turned into a completely different person, and no one could believe that the amount of speed, power, and ruthlessness he had just displayed belonged to a young man.

It happened again! Strange things happen again! The stone hanging around Cloudhawk's neck once again became extremely hot as the same thing that had happened a few nights ago started happening once again. He seems to have turned into a volcano, filled with anger, savagery, and violence. All sorts of destructive thoughts flooded his mind as the desire within the strange stone was once again unleashed!

Cloudhawk could sense that things were different this time. He could actually stay calm, when on that night he was almost crazy!

The wolf pack seemed to sense something, and they all started to hesitate and retreat. Woola took advantage of this opportunity to regroup on the side of Cloudhawk. Even though his body was covered in wounds, he continued to roar ferociously as he glared at the rotwolves. A half-grown young man and a very mutated human .. Together, they actually amazed and frightened a bunch of rotwolves!

But this didn't last long. The reason why the rotwolves hesitated was because they could sense that the aura of Cloudhawk had changed. However, based on what they saw, these humans still did not pose much of a threat to them. As more rotwolves jumped over the fortress and replenished their ranks, the group instantly regained their spirits.

“They're too much. We can't beat them!” Cloudhawk could feel that the wave of power the stone gave him was receding like a tide and disappearing at high speed. He immediately said to Woola, "Run!" Woola simply growled in response; it was unclear if she understood what Cloudhawk had said.

Cloudhawk knew that with his current speed, it would be very difficult for him to outrun the rotwolves. The rotwolves

hesitated for a few seconds, but now they were once again charging straight at him.but right at this moment, the sound of a spinning machine could be heard right behind him.

Several riders appeared in his field of vision, and in front of them was a motorcycle fitted with a garbage disposal. As for the others, they rode giant lizards or large legged birds, and they all used heavy machetes. They attacked at high speed, slamming into the line of attacking rotwolves and making some of them fly.

A lucky survivor shouted in surprise and delight, "Elite forces!"

This was the most elite and most trained guard squad in the entire outpost, with each member becoming a top-tier expert. The late Captain Lain had become a member of this elite squad, and the man known as 'Grizzly' was one of the squad captains.

The leader of the riding riders, however, was not a Grizzly. Instead, it was a short-haired energetic youth named 'Wulf'. He was the second captain of the elite force, and definitely one of the most skilled experts at the outpost.

"What's going on here ?!" Wulf scanned the surrounding area. The first thing that caught his attention was the corpse of an alpha rotwolf on the ground. Next, he looked at Cloudhawk with a somewhat strange look in his eyes, followed by a glance at Woola. Clearly, he recognized Woola. “You belong to Tartarus? Did you kill this alpha wolf? And where is that other idiot?!”

Cloudhawk had yet to recover from his shock. He nodded almost instinctively and said, “He is scattered on the ground. I'm not sure which chunk belongs to him!” These were completely innocent words, but to the elite forces it sounded rather mocking. The Tartarus mercenaries were all quite formidable, and they often struggled and competed against the elite forces.

Another was Wulf's subordinate, but had been killed. This young mercenary, however, had survived. How could Wulf smile after hearing this news? He snorted, a cold expression on his face!

Right at this moment, a rotwolf began to sneak towards them, hoping to launch a sneak attack. Wulf threw his knife, sending it through the rotwolf and pinning it to the ground. He then jumped off the desert motorcycle in a rather crude manner, then swooped past the rotwolf corpse like an eagle, using his feet to help him pull out a knife. Then, a flashing wind, electric blades began to blow through the rotwolf, cutting each piece as easily as cutting vegetables.

Very impressive weapons and skills! Is this the strength of one of the elite captains?

Other elite troops also joined in. An extremely strong man gripped the rotwolf with his jaw, used his raw strength to resist the biting force of the rotwolf, then forcefully tore the rotwolf from its mouth with his bare hands. He then casually threw the rotwolf corpse to one side like a lot of trash. Ordinary members of the elite squads were all as strong as Others!

The rotwolf group first lost its alpha, then were pushed back repeatedly by the attacks of the elite forces. Only ten or so remained, and they turned around and fled with tails behind their feet.

"All clear!" Elite Captain Wulf was in no mood to collect and collect the other corpses. "Let's strengthen the other areas!" The elite forces leave.

CLoudhawk's life has been saved. He stared at the shattered battlefield, then let out a long sigh. The price they paid for the victory here was huge. Suddenly, Cloudhawk noticed that Woola was sniffing one of the corpses and scavenging it. "Woola, what are you doing ?!"

Woola quickly found the object she was looking for. It came back, holding a blood rifle and covered in blood in its mouth that was delivered to Cloudhawk. The rifle has been severely corroded, but it may still be usable. Cloudhawk was pleased with the discovery and began searching the area as well, only to find a number of rifle bullets in one of the pockets worn by the post guard.

A few dozen survivors stood nearby, somewhat strange gazes in their eyes. They stared unblinkingly at the rifle in Cloudhawk's hands, unable to hide their greed and jealousy.

"And what do you think you're looking at?!" Cloudhawk swung the rifle at his back, then took out his revolver and waved it a few times, a savage expression on his face. “You better pretend you don't see anything! If you say a word, I'll waste your sorry ass with my bullets! ” Woola very obediently let out a support growl as well.

After spending so much time with the mercenaries, Cloudhawk subconsciously began to take their way of speaking. In this era, the reason for speaking was completely meaningless. The most effective method is to issue a naked threat.

Now, no one dared to underestimate that skinny little boy. The way he shot and killed the alpha rotwolf with a single bullet had shocked everyone present. Without question, all of these people viewed this youngster, who seemed to be thirteen or fourteen years old, as an extremely powerful expert. They wouldn't be so stupid as to try and steal something from someone so powerful. It would be suicide! And of course, Woola was a legendary beast known to everyone in the Blackflag Outpost!

Cloudhawk has been bullied by others all his life. Returning to the ruins, the scar-faced man had gritted him; here at the outpost, both the mercenaries and the owner of the red-nosed inn had been bullying him. Now, when he saw the terrified expression in the eyes of those around him, he felt a strange feeling in his heart.

Gosh darn. Hitting others is so much fun!

The walls of the Blackflag Outpost had been pierced in six or seven places, and roughly three or four hundred rotwolves had attacked inside. The battle lasted for another two hours, and more than half of the rotwolves were wounded or killed before they were finally repulsed. As for the giant bats, they left after eating their fill in this 'party.

The outpost had suffered enormous losses due to this beast tide. It suffered more than 1500 casualties, most of them active and able-bodied fighters. Over a hundred post guards had been annihilated as well. Clearly, the overall strength of Blackflag Outpost had suffered quite a bit.

No one dared to relax or stop being vigilant. Who knew if the cunning rotwolves might decide to launch a sudden second attack? As a result, that very night they cleared the battlefield and began repairing the damaged fort.

This battle is really not worth it. Rotwolf's body was almost worthless, aside from its fur which could be used to make warm clothes. All of their other parts were completely useless! Rotwolf meat is completely inedible; not only is it highly acidic and foul-smelling, but it is also poisonous. Blackflag Outpost had paid a very high price to win this battle, but there was no loot to share at all.

Cloudhawk gasped for breath as he dashed into the Tartarus mercenaries. Slyfox smoked his cigarette loudly and for a long time, blew out a puff of smoke, then unleashed a verbal attack. “Fuck, where are you hiding? I thought you were dead, Son! Oho, and it looks like you took a little something as well.”

Cloudhawk's rifle had attracted the attention of the mercenaries. Only a few of these weapons were in the outpost. Without a doubt, the boy had picked it up somewhere on the battlefield. Judging from the wounds all over his body, the boy had undoubtedly experienced a bloody battle himself.

The Tartarus Company also lost two men. They were one of the most elite squads of the Blackflag Outpost, and losing two people 'only' would have a significant impact on the outpost as a whole. Mad Dog and Slyfox were both covered in blood; clearly, both of them were also in an extremely violent battle. But now, the dust finally settled. Is over.

Cloudhawk gazed towards the pearl white clouds in the eastern sky. "Is the beast wave over?"

“It's almost dawn.” Slyfox seems to be in a rather bad mood. After all, he had lost some subordinates. “Rotwolves never fight in broad daylight. We have experienced this wave, at least. ”

Just incredible!

The reddish glow of the rising sun slowly began to appear, bringing peace and tranquility back to the world. Everyone had been fighting all night, and they were all completely exhausted. But just as they were all preparing to retire for a break, something completely unexpected happened. Yet another black mass appeared in the distance as a large group of unknown creatures began to move towards the Blackflag Outpost.

"Hey. HIYA! Are you sure of what you're saying?" Cloudhawk called out hurriedly, "Don't you say the rotwolves won't come back?"

"No way." A completely confused look was on Slyfox's face. There was no way his past experiences could mislead him. The Rotwolves have never launched a large-scale attack during the day!

One of the mercenaries used a pair of binoculars to stare into the distance. A moment later, he shouted loudly, "That's not rotwolves!"

Not Rotwolves? Were they then?! Slowly, the silhouettes of the creatures became clearer as they moved from the desert. It really doesn't look like a beast wave! Judging by the speed and amount of sand they kicked, they looked like? One that advanced at high speed.

"Oh my God."

"That's a sweeper battalion!"

Someone started to shout in shock, and the faces of Slyfox, Mad Dog, and the other mercenaries instantly stiffened. “sial! Did that bastard wait this long for the right moment?” The Mad Dog got up. “Blackflag Outpost weakened by beast wave last night. Now these bastards are attacking, just in time. These bastards are really smart, I have to give them that!”

Cloudhawk doesn't know what's going to happen. However, judging from the faces of the post guards and mercenaries, the situation was even more grim than when they faced the beast tide last night. In fact, it looks like this is going to be a real life and death fight.

What the hell is going on? One wave of trouble after another ... when will it end?!
