Chapter 38. Fact-Finding

Haikal took advantage of the opportunity on Bu Minarsih's birthday, to get closer to Clara. Not because she was in love with Clara, but because Haikal was still curious about the birthmark behind Clara's ear.

Haikal begins to suspect that the deceased is not Ainisha, his wife. If this is true, there are a variety of possibilities that can occur. It could be, Ainisha is still alive and even now has given birth.

While thinking like that, Haikal remembered Clara, the woman who had the same birthmark as Ainisha. She also gave birth not long ago. Look at the same eyes. But they have different faces.

Haikal is getting confused about all this. Haikal begins to look for ways to find out the truth about Clara and her son. Of course, he could not blatantly show his suspicion before Clara and Bu Minarsih.
